The one with a kitchen was booked, and it had a balcony, and it cost me 25 dollars. In the end, I added 40 dollars to Fudge. It was said that it was a bay room. When I entered the room, I got a city view. I just stood on the balcony. There was a little shadow of the sea far away. After more than half a month, I found that the upgrade fee was credited to US$101. After processing by Ctrip, the hotel refunded US$56, which should be US$61. Very satisfied with Ctrip.

For self-driving travelers, the location is super good and the price is moderate. There is a 24-hour Wal-Mart supermarket nearby. You can buy pizza and seafood and process them in your room. It was just that the plane would pass by the roof and the sound was a bit loud. I stayed for 5 nights and got used to it. Breakfast is normal American standards, Chinese people may not be used to it, Miami food is generally heavy taste, saltiness and sweetness can be as high as hou. Free parking.

Good location, there is a supermarket near the mall, walking to the beach in ten minutes. If you are staying in Fort Lauderdale for a long time, it is recommended to stay. For in-house facilities, the price is slightly higher than similar hotels.

The Samantha is a small hotel with no reception for check-in , it’s done via text message or email to your phone and given instructions for accessibility to the room reserved. The one I reserved was small but did have all the amenities, small fridge, sink, plates, cups, coffee machine and a full bathroom. Even iron and hair dryer. They also have a nice rooftop terrace w a restroom, and small ice machine. Accessing the elevator requires a code which they give you. Rooms were very clean, and only cleaned once , if you want daily cleaning, it’s a separate surcharge which we didn’t bother. Rooms have TV , just regular channels and WiFi. Beach is extremely close by, just crossing the street. Very nice beach, and you don’t have to go far. This part of Miami is very expensive though. This is good for a short stay and on a budget. Neighborhood seamed safe at night. Take the free ferry bus to get down to south beach, every 20 min it passes by.

An amazing hotel …..brand new….everything was perfect….great reception area (lovely smell as you enter), room was on the 20th floor with floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom and lounge and a balcony - fabulous view out to the water and off the skyscraper lights at night…..well equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer including ice maker. Didn’t venture to the pool on the 8th floor but looked great…..the terrace and lounge on the 24/25th floor are still being kitted out but awesome views. There is construction in front and at the side but with the soundproofing, heard nothing. The best hotel I’ve stayed in.

Booked what I thought was a nice, spacious apartment for 6 people through booking.com. It was clearly advertised with bedroom with double beds and additional sleeping spaces including folding sofa beds. Great pics of double beds, view and balcony. On arrival our ‘great’ apartment was a small single room with a double bed in the middle of the living room, another bed on a mezzanine and 2 air mattress squeezed between beds and windows. No view, no balcony. On confronting the management, they claimed to never had this problem before and argued that the info on booking.com was factual. They bluntly refused any refund or alternative apartment and referred us back to booking.com. It was so bad that we simply walked out the same day, even without another place to stay! Booking.com was utterly useless, coming back with the message that they ‘advised’ the company to refund but that they were not willing to do so. There was nothing they could do…. Great customer service 😖 People, one advice: Deal with people you can trust, if you want a great time in Miami don’t use booking.com and certainly stay away from Girasole Design Suites.

I have never been more disappointed in an establishment than I am in Mint House. My mother and several other seniors evacuated from their facility stayed there. Because Hurricane Helene devastated the area, the county extended the evacuation for at least another day. Accordingly, I spoke to the front desk and was told while the room that she was staying in may not be available another room would be made available and that I would receive a call later that morning to confirm. My mother and others amongst the evacuees are non ambulatory and although she would be giving up an ADA room I thought that the arrangement was reasonable. When I didn’t receive a call back I followed up and was told that not only would she not be able to stay in the ADA room but there were no other rooms and she would have to leave in less than a half hour. I understand the demands on the staff’s time but I was astonished by the callousness of the response. I had briefly thought about calling a local news station to cover the story (and still might) but I now had to find her another room in a city devastated by the storm, and I had 20 minutes to do so. I’ve told my story to everyone I know, so bad word of mouth will do for now. I assume that the same person who was so nice to me at 8:00am became so callous at 10:30am due to poor training, leadership and a horrendous corporate culture. Mint House has established itself and its brand as the company that tosses disabled elderly people to the curb with little care or warning. I doubt this will be read by a human or responded to with self examination. If you would like me to share my comments on TripAdvisor, I would be more than happy to.

The rooms at iCoconut Grove are beautiful. Our room had wraparound glass, floor to ceiling walls on two sides overlooking the bay. It had a kitchenette, refrigerator and dishwasher all in great shape. Also a washer/dryer in the bathroom. The double pain glass blocked out most outside noise making the room extremely quiet. My only recommendation on the room would be softer pillows and a less squishy mattress. I woke up with an ear ache from the pillows. I believe the description or follow up communication could be much clearer. The fact that the iCoconut Grove is actually a management group who own the room that is within the hotel was not clear. I guess they call them owner occupied rooms that they rent out. This info was missing on ********** booking site, and was not made clear at all once I booked to room. It seemed almost cryptic. Maybe the iCoconut Grove team thought this would be confusing for folks to understand, but it would have made it easier in trying to navigate to the hotel. Additionally, any questions or issues you may have about the room needs to be directed to the ownership team. I had trouble getting hot water the first morning, and when I asked them to send an engineer up to check on it while we were out for the day, I was told they could not go into the room without me being there because it was an owner rented room. Lastly the description on ********** site claimed there was a $30 food/Beveridge allowance on a credit type card available for each stay. This turned out to be only $10. Redeemable at a restaurant the iCoconut Grove company owns a few blocks away. The restaurant was very good. The restaurant in the hotel itself was closed and/or undergoing extensive renovations. Hard to tell. There was also a promised complimentary bottle of champagne. Which was actual French Champagne and was very good. Not having direct accountability with the hotel vs the ownership group was a new experience for me. But once we were settled in we had a lovely stay. The town of Coconut Grove is lovely and extremely walkable. I would definitely stay at this property again.

It's was a nice location and area, bathrooms were not very clean smelled like urine... No floor bath mat I slipped and fell .. No dishes or silver wear for being a condominium rental .. It was difficult during my Stay from out of state...
