I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times and it never disappoints. The rooms are consistently clean, and the bed is very comfortable, making it easy to relax. There’s ample parking available, which is very convenient. The hotel is also family-friendly, with a kids’ room that’s great for children. I especially appreciate that the swimming pool is open until 10pm, giving more flexibility to unwind in the evening. Overall, a reliable and pleasant stay every time.
This time I rented a family-style room at the hotel. It had two bedrooms and two living rooms, making it very spacious. Unlike other hotels, they didn't provide cleaning or bed linen changes for five nights. There was a water dispenser and microwave in the common area. Although there was an elevator, you had to use the stairs to enter the hotel; it wasn't wheelchair accessible. The hotel didn't have a restaurant, so I had to eat breakfast at a nearby food stall, which was quite good. (See photos)
Tanjung Tokong Point Residences is a lovely place to stay, offering great value for money with its affordable pricing. The entire unit is clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it ideal for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciate the cozy atmosphere, which makes it feel like a home away from home. However, one minor drawback is that the lift can be quite slow, and the toilet amenities are somewhat limited. Despite these small issues, the overall experience is still very positive. It is a superb and pleasant place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others.
This hotel is incredibly convenient, with a convenience store on-site and plenty of local eateries and supermarkets nearby. The room was spacious and very clean, with an open view outside. Since it's a serviced apartment, it came equipped with a fridge, microwave, and cutlery, which was perfect for making a simple late-night snack with groceries bought from the supermarket. However, there were a couple of downsides: the water pressure was quite weak, and there was a strange drain smell coming from the bathroom, which definitely needs improvement. The gym and infinity pool are located on the 36th floor. The pool was super clean and the views were absolutely stunning! 👍
All very good, just few need to do some improve 😄😄😄
- bidet no good to use
- shower screen only fixed glass, after bath, the floor wet
- basin no silicone, the water leaking between basin and wall, floor all wet
Will stay again when agian to penang..
My family had a wonderful stay at this homestay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing experience. The place was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, and all essential amenities were provided, making it feel like a home away from home.
The host was friendly, responsive, and very helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were always available to answer questions or provide local recommendations. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely stay here again in the future.
Location not too bad, however make a mistake of buying breakfast as they gave spaghetti for breakfast and due to that I have diarrhea as the food is not warm and spaghetti for breakfast is TOTAL no for me. Waste of money paying for breakfast hotel should think of changing the menus.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, and there was even a water dispenser. I enjoyed a beautiful sunrise over the sea from the window in the morning. The hotel isn't too far from the old town, easily reachable on foot or by a short taxi ride. The only downside was the lack of tissues.
Centrally located. A new Service apartment located at A McAllister Road. Swimming pool on the top floor was good and scenic, with a nice strong Jacuzzi section. Gym sector was very good. Rooms just nice for three people. Basic cooking facilities available front desk owner responsible for for check-in and check out and validate the parking facility. Any room service problem will need to contact the hotel management in the different number.
Pleasantly surprised! The hotel is new and beautiful, with spacious and clean rooms. The water dispenser was a convenient touch, highly appreciated! 👍 The rooftop pool and gym were great. The hotel service was also excellent; on our last day, they extended our check-out to 12 PM, so we could store our luggage and go out again before coming back. The location is super convenient; in the morning, we just took a casual stroll and within 500-600 meters, we passed a bunch of must-see attractions: museums, the newspaper office, the mosque, the Rainbow Quarter, and various food markets. Especially ”Durian King” – we ate durian until we were full, then walked back to the hotel. It couldn't have been more convenient!

MMiniA55The route to the hotel is a bit strange, but overall it looks good. But check the accommodation before coming.
GGuest UserI had a pleasan stay at this apartment in Penang. The unit is new, very clean, and well maintained. Everything felt fresh and comfortable. The location is highly convenient, with easy access to food options, shops, and other amenities nearby. Getting around was straightforward, and daily needs were all within reach. Overall, a smooth and pleasant stay—I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to return.

TTszHo778The day before your arrival, the room service will message you about key collection. Just show your check-in confirmation to the security guard downstairs, ask them to open the door, and grab your key from the left. Customer service will send you a comprehensive document; make sure to read it carefully, as it's very well-organized. The building is disinfected daily, and the elevators are kept clean. There's a Starbucks and a convenience store right downstairs. I was on the 22nd floor, and the noise wasn't too noticeable. The view was also quite good, and the room rate was incredibly reasonable—much better than what I experienced in Guangzhou. Unless you're staying in a high-end four or five-star hotel, I'd definitely recommend this type of serviced apartment for travel. If you're considering guesthouses in George Town and have high expectations for your accommodation, I wouldn't really suggest them. The motorcycle noise there is beyond imagination, and since it's a heritage area, their sewage system is quite old. However, if you're not particular, it can offer a unique charm. Overall, everything was great. The residents here are very friendly, and I never had to wait long for the elevator, contrary to what some online reviews mentioned. My longest wait was never more than 30 seconds. A local driver told me that this is a newer area, so the location isn't ideal for tourists if you want to walk everywhere; you'll need to take a taxi unless you're driving. But I personally found it quite good. If you plan on exploring, you'll need to taxi to George Town daily, which is usually about a 15-minute ride, so that's a bit of a downside. Otherwise, I'd choose this type of travel accommodation over a four or five-star beachfront hotel. I had a spacious apartment all to myself, which was fantastic. These are all my thoughts, and I hope they help with your decision.
GGuest UserEasy and clear self check in instructions provided.
Rooms are clean and as described.

AAnonymous UserFull of Tourists from China. The bus-stop is just across the hotel going to Komtar (town) and beside the hotel back from komtar. When I checked in the Hotel, the staff was very efficient, and informative. But not all, because when I want to go out the next day, the receptionist on duty doesn't even know where the bus stop location is (which is just across the street). I guess this is a no-frills apartment. We stayed in a 2 room unit. Yes, the small room with no window. And basically the door cannot close because of the bed. I expected that. It’s ok for me. The unit is clean, comfortable. The pantry is great. Cutlery provided. Long wait for lift during peak hour. Noon time & morning because guests are checking out and in. To stay here again for the next trip? Only if I am willing to tolerate the PRC. Since I do not utilise the facilities, I was fine during this stay.
CCindy1105NO RECOMMEND!
1. Fan and aircond in the living room are very old.
2. Fan and aircond in the second room also quite old.
3&4 Blanket already torn but still provided for us to use.
5.First toilet got two shampoos, second toilet got one shampoo and one shower gel — how to wash body? Need to share or use shampoo as body wash.
6.Second toilet shower pipe leaking when using.
7. Washing machine cannot be used from third day. They said will come to fix, but need to wait long — end up have to bring clothes home to wash, LOL.
8. Saw baby cockroach inside the unit.
9. Power plug in the room is loose.
10.Toilet and room got no good smell.
Also this,
Not sure if you believe this — my cousin can see ghost. At night or sometimes in midnight, all of us smelled “bunga melati” (jasmine) scent. My cousin, who slept in bedroom 1, heard someone knocking the window loudly. After that, she slept in the living room instead. The smell came again, sometimes very strong and badly — all of us in the kitchen and living room could smell it. Quite creepy!
Maybe because house besides the Hospital!
GGuest UserWe had a truly pleasant stay at this suite. The unit was spacious, beautifully maintained, and very clean throughout. The bed was extremely comfortable, with fresh and clean sheets that made our stay even more relaxing. It was fully equipped with all the essential amenities, including a hair dryer, iron, microwave, refrigerator, electric stove, and even a washing machine — which made everything very convenient.
The facilities were outstanding. There are several types of swimming pools, including a stunning infinity pool that offers a great view and relaxing atmosphere. The property also features a sauna room and a well-equipped gym, adding even more value to the overall experience.
They also provided us with two parking spaces located conveniently near the elevator, which made it very easy for us to access the suite. The only minor downside is the parking entrance, as you need to drive up a spiral ramp until Level 10, which may feel a bit long for some drivers.
On top of that, the price is very reasonable for what you get, especially considering the spacious suite and excellent facilities provided.
The host was very responsive, friendly, and polite, ensuring smooth communication from start to finish. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.
