The guesthouse's location is incredibly convenient. It's a 30-minute ride on the Nankai Airport Line to Tengachaya Station, followed by a straightforward 30-minute walk. Alternatively, the Yotsubashi Line's Hanazonocho Station is even closer, just under a 5-minute walk across the road and along Hanazonocho Hondori, offering direct access to Namba and Shinsaibashi. There's also Shin-Imamiya JR Station, which is a bit further, about 1.2 km or a 15-minute walk. Check-in was a breeze; upon arrival, you simply collect your keys from the mailbox in the room to the right of the main entrance. Daily trash disposal is easy – just take your rubbish downstairs to the large bin located to the left inside the gated area. The lobby provides handy supplies like trash bags, fresh towels, and toothbrushes. Room amenities are excellent and the space is ample, which is a big advantage of guesthouses over hotels. There's a microwave, pots, pans, and dishes, so you can buy groceries and prepare simple meals. A washing machine with detergent and a drying rack on the balcony are also provided. Before booking, I was quite concerned about the noise issues mentioned in other reviews, and I was a bit apprehensive before my trip. I was assigned a third-floor room not facing the train line, and while it was a lower floor, I had read reviews saying rooms on the opposite side were also noisy. However, my personal experience was that there was no sound at all. Even when trains passed, the noise wasn't significant, unless you're an extremely light sleeper who needs absolute quiet. Personally, I don't see it as an issue. For those like us, staying in a room on the opposite side, we didn't hear any track noise at all. Plus, the hotel offers direct views of Abeno Harukas and Tsutenkaku, both about a 30-minute walk away. I even went up to the 9th floor to catch the sunset. Overall, this guesthouse offers great value for money. While it's true there are some homeless people in the area to the right, it still feels very safe and doesn't affect your travel plans. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Osaka.

One word that explained my whole experience here- magnificent! I love how the apartment looks like as a whole! It’s more than what I expected! The owner of the place is very responsive to my inquiries and very kind. The place is near to metro station , supermarket, & tourist spots .. I will finally book this place again on my next visit to osaka! Kudos 🩷🩷🩷

This was a very comfortable stay! It was perfect for a dinner party with friends, as it came equipped with a projector, dishes, and more. It was also super convenient, less than a 5-minute walk from the station exit and with a convenience store nearby! I'd love to stay here again!

The hotel is in a very quiet location near a school, but there was absolutely no noise. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the facilities were complete. The only minor issue was that checking in and getting the key at the lobby door was a bit difficult upon arrival. It took quite some time to finally get in.

Great value for money! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at Lucky Namba Hotel. The location is very convenient—it's within easy walking distance to the station, and there’s a Lawson convenience store right nearby, which was super handy. It offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended for budget travelers! 😊

JA Hotel Shinfukae

Ja Hotel Shinfukae: Review Summary • Cleanliness: The property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained (”neat”), which is a major plus for any traveler. • Location: Excellent proximity to the local metro station, making it very convenient for exploring Osaka's main districts like Namba or Umeda. Important Logistics to Keep in Mind There are two specific operational details that travelers should be prepared for: • Check-in Time: Standard check-in starts at 4:00 PM. This is slightly later than some traditional hotels, so plan your arrival accordingly if you have heavy luggage. • Digital Check-in: The process is entirely online. Make sure you have a charged smartphone and internet access (or the check-in details saved offline) before you arrive at the property. Pro-Tips for Shinfukae 1. Early Arrival: Since the check-in is digital and at 4:00 PM, check if the hotel offers a luggage drop-off area. If not, the nearby metro station likely has coin lockers where you can store your bags while you grab a bite nearby. 2. The Local Area: Shinfukae is a more residential, quiet part of Osaka. It’s a great place to experience a ”local” vibe away from the neon lights of Dotonbori, with some authentic izakayas tucked away in the side streets. 3. Transit: From Shinfukae Station (Sennichimae Line), you are only a few stops away from Tsuruhashi, which is famous for its vibrant Korean market and incredible yakiniku (BBQ).

The location is quite convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. The hygiene is good, and the price is relatively affordable. Although the bathroom is small, it still has a bathtub, which is a nice touch. The self-check-in process at the unmanned front desk is generally convenient, and there are replacement toiletries provided at the entrance for guests staying multiple nights. If you're looking for good value for money, this is a solid option.

Frankly, it's a waste of time to stay here. Super far from the station, the station has loooots of stairs, so if it's the end of your trip and you have lots of luggage - call an Uber from the station. Which defeats the purpose of a hotel close to the airport, since it's extra time and money. The elevator to the station was also broken, but fortunately, nearby hotels let you use theirs to get to the bridge leading to the station. I can't imagine hauling my 23kg suitcase up those stairs. I didn't get either a reservation number or a QR code for checking in, so navigating the self check-in was a nightmare. I managed it in the end, but felt very stupid standing there not knowing what to do. The tablet also put me in a room literally next to the elevator and entrance, so I listened to ”The doors are closing” all night. The window went out to the parking lot so more noise there. Thankfully, I had earplugs with me so it was bearable. The room itself was very clean and had all the necessary things. A nice surprise was universal sockets, really helped me to charge all my devices before the flight. A 7/11 is literally outide next door which is incredibly handy. If you have time, not lots of luggage, don't mind the walk and don't care where the electronic system puts you - it's a good choice. I, personally, won't come back.

I am really satisfied with this room. It's spacious and can accomodate more than 4-6 people except a small toilet. It's good for budget. Elevator card is designated so that others can not stop my floor and has no security problem. It takes 7 minutes from Shin-imamiya staion(JR) and 6 minutes from Ebyscho station. Mega DonKihote and Shinsekai takes 5-7 minutes by walking . I will stay again if I visit OSAKA.
