We had a wonderful stay at b&Namba4 during our 5 day trip at Osaka. The room is very clean, cozy and well equipped. The kitchenette is provided with utensils, allowing simple cooking. The fridge is a regular size one, which usually cannot be provided in a hotel. One suggestion would be to provide a worktop over the sink for the kitchenette. It is a self check in facility, but the online customer service is responsive and helpful. The instruction for check in is also clear and easy to follow. Overall, we are happy with the room setting and the customer service.

The room is very big and clean. There is washing machine in the room that is very convenient for my trip. The location is good, walking distance to Namba and Nipponbashi station. Downstairs has family mart, very convenient for daily shopping. Highly recommend this hotel for all friends to Osaka!

This guesthouse is in an excellent location, just a stone's throw from Tenkachaya Station, offering incredibly convenient transportation. You'll find not only the Nankai Electric Railway with direct access to Kansai Airport, but also multiple subway lines. The rooms are exceptionally spacious and bright, decorated in a modern, minimalist style, and come with brand-new, well-equipped facilities. The air conditioning is powerful and cools efficiently, and the hot water supply is plentiful and consistent, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The surrounding area has excellent amenities, with a large supermarket within walking distance and plenty of dining options like KFC, McDonald's, Sukiya, and Gyoza no Ohsho all nearby, making shopping and daily errands incredibly convenient. Given its outstanding value for money, rooms here are often fully booked, so I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka!

Absolute value for money. Things that I like; 1) Familymart right in front. 2) The location was around 5 mins to Kuromon market, <10mins to walk to Namba station, and around 15 mins to Dotonbori. 3) Decent size room, definitely bigger than hotels at same price point. Came with all the amenities I need, washer, microwave oven, stove, fridge, and even a small bath tub for 1. 4) easy instructions from host for self-check in. 5) I don’t hear any noise from other guests.

Excellent apartment. Very convenient for couple and families with 3. For 4, i personally suggest 2 units for more space (i had done it The top 1 was the shower room, which became an effective clothes dryer. After 1 day off in Osaka, you find your clothes washed and completed dried is something to consider in your next long trip. Very smart these japaneses!!! Definitely, it is a good call if you are coming to Osaka!!

The hotel staff provided excellent service, and our room was very spacious. Even though it's located right by the train tracks, it was surprisingly quiet once the windows were closed. Our family of four felt perfectly comfortable, with no cramped feeling whatsoever. We even cooked our own meals and bought groceries from the nearby Tamade supermarket. We found the kitchen was missing a knife, but we easily picked one up from the supermarket. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit. I couldn't find any photos of the room, so I've included some cherry blossom pictures instead. At 600 a night during cherry blossom season, the value for money was outstanding!

The apartment featured four very comfortable beds (two queen-sized and two single). It was thoughtfully equipped with a wide range of useful kitchenware, perfect for self-catering, including a refrigerator, an induction hob, and a microwave. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, and having a washing machine was a huge bonus. Overall, it offered excellent value for money. Its proximity to Kizu Market and Life Supermarket made grocery shopping incredibly convenient.

This was a last-minute trip, and I found this place on Ctrip. Since we preferred not to stay in a standard hotel, we opted for this minpaku. Honestly, before our trip, I'd seen a few rather harsh reviews, so I prepared for the worst-case scenario. I packed all our essentials and even pre-warned my child, just in case those negative comments turned out to be true and they got upset. As it turned out, my worries were completely unfounded – I'd overthought everything! Before we left, we added them on WeChat, and the staff were incredibly responsive, replying almost instantly. They provided detailed instructions on how to get there and information about luggage storage. Since check-in time in Japan is typically after 4 PM, if you arrive on an early flight like us, their minpaku has a designated luggage storage area in the lobby. There's CCTV, but no staff supervision, so remember to keep your valuables with you. The minpaku is conveniently located near Tenkachaya Station. Right outside the exit, there's a sizable supermarket, KFC, Osaka Ohsho, and other dining options. In fact, on previous trips, I always made sure to visit that supermarket daily. The minpaku is about a 10-minute walk from the station; we managed it easily with two large suitcases, and our family of three, including our ten-year-old, didn't find the walk strenuous at all. The property is divided into three buildings: A, B, and C. You'll know which building your room is in by the first letter of your room number, as provided by the staff, so be careful not to go to the wrong one. We actually went to Building B by mistake and were searching everywhere for our keys until we bumped into a staff member coming out – a super friendly young man with glasses. He jokingly asked, 'You should just call us if you need help! Why were you quietly searching by yourselves?' He then directed us to the correct building, which was right next door, and everything proceeded smoothly from there. Our room on the third floor was around 30 square meters, and we found both the cleanliness and amenities to be excellent. Some previous guests mentioned noise issues, but we didn't encounter any in our room. I'd suggest noting any preferences when booking, so the property can do their best to accommodate you, as there is indeed a subway line that runs continuously in front of the minpaku. If you're coming from Namba or Shinsaibashi, another option is to alight at Hanazonocho Station. There's also a supermarket right outside that exit, and the walk from there is equally convenient. We actually used this route almost every day.

The guesthouse isn't huge, but the bed is bigger than the one I stayed in a Tokyo hotel, easily accommodating two adults. It's well-equipped with a washing machine, an induction cooktop, pots and pans, and a balcony with clothes hangers for drying clothes. The washing machine solves the daily laundry problem, and the kitchen is handy for preparing meals if you're traveling with elderly children. Food at Japanese convenience stores is always cold, making it unsuitable for elderly and children. There's a school nearby, and it's located in a residential area. Turn left at the main entrance, then right at the intersection. The subway entrance is two blocks away, making it convenient for getting around. There's also a 7-Eleven nearby, where I usually have breakfast.

GGuest UserThis hotel is a great choice for short stays, especially if you’re looking for convenience and privacy. The location is excellent—just under a 5-minute walk from Tengachaya Station, making it easy to access public transportation. There is also direct train from Kansai Airport to Tengachaya station, without transfer - bonus point if you arrived from KIX. There’s also a 7-Eleven nearby that offers Yamato luggage delivery service, which is very handy if you're traveling with heavy bags. The hotel operates as a fully self-service property, with no staff at the front desk. Check-in is straightforward—they’ll email you a passcode to access your mailbox, where you’ll find your room key. Rooms are compact, as is typical in Osaka, but very clean and feel quite new. The bed has storage space underneath, which is perfect for stowing large suitcases. Amenities are basic (toothbrush, comb, shaver), and you can pick them up at the front desk area, which also has a microwave available if you want to heat up food. One thing to note: there’s no coin laundry on-site, so if you’re staying for an extended period, plan accordingly. The room brochure mentions a luggage delivery service, but I didn’t receive a reply when I tried to contact them using provided number.  Overall, it’s a solid option for short stays—comfortable, private, and very conveniently located near transit and services.

독락당JA Hotel Shin-Fukae offered a satisfactory experience. Unlike most modern hotels, JA Hotel offered an actual key for the room instead of a keycard. The room was furnished with nothing beyond what was necessary for accomodations. The washroom was tiny and this was the first time in many years I had to operate a tap with two knobs: one for hot water and the other for cold. The sink shares the same water supply as the shower and there is a valve above the spiggot one uses to control which is supplied with water. Perhaps my experience was an outlier, but the room also seems to have quite thin walls as I spent one night listening to a Japanese couple flirting and another listening to a pair of Chinese men talking. Once again, perhaps my experience was abnormal, but the wifi also seemed relatively slow as I was only able to stream YouTube videos smoothly at 144p on one of the evenings I was there. As for the location, it seemed to me to be a rather quiet little area with little to do, but perhaps that was due to a dearth of prior research. There's a number of decent restaurants in the vicinity and the hotels proximity to Shin-Fukae Station is definitely one of its strong points. In addition, the staff were very friendly throughout my entire stay, making the overall experience satisfactory.

RRubyRWe are a family of 6 when we stayed at Eslead hotel. Very nice location. Walk in distance to a lot of places like the tsutenkaku tower, mega donki, konbinis, restaurants and train stations. The room was so cozy and has all the basic amenities you would need. They have an area in the lobby where you can leave your luggages. It was a big help for us since we also went to tokyo for 3 days then comeback at eslead again. I will definitely book here again the next time I go to osaka.

JJoJoJoRyWe booked this place in advance for our trip to Osaka. Despite the lack of a traditional front desk, the service was excellent. Upon check-in, we were very pleased with the room. It featured a double bed and a tatami area, with enough space in front of the sofa to easily open two large suitcases. The location is fantastic, just a 9-minute walk from both Daikokucho and Imamiya stations. Returning from Daikokucho, you pass by Life Supermarket and Gyomu Super, which made grocery shopping incredibly convenient! The window faces southeast, and unfortunately, there were no blackout curtains, which meant we were woken up by the sunlight at 6 AM sharp every day.

JJo89This is one of our most comfortable hotel/airbnb stay in the whole of our Japan trip. We have been to Osaka 3 times for 5-7 days stay and this is by far the best, affordable stay. Room is really clean and new. Towels are fluffy and soft. Great shower taps with micro adjustment for water temperature. Heated water comes out consistently. (Comparing with some reputable hotels), no cold water burst during shower. Awesome! separate shower and bathtub, big plus point. Washing machine function well, balcony for drying clothes. Room looks like what’s advertised and way better than expected considering the price. Big, comfortable, enough space for couples. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash are of good quality, not drying. Beds are really comfortable, comforters keep use warm enough. Pillows are not too high or hard. Curtains are not the total blackout kind, so bring eye mask if you’re a light sleeper but normal sleeper like my husband can sleep through the early morning sunrise with no issue. I slept really well even though I am a very light sleeper. Close to train station. Met the staffs on our first day and very friendly and helpful. Highly highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again when we visit!
