Review Title: Unsafe Staircase – Serious Safety Hazard When we first entered the unit, we were shocked to find a long, narrow staircase—laminated, steep, and slippery, with no resistance strips on the steps. We managed to walk up slowly with our luggage, exercising extra care, and enjoyed a pleasant evening with the convenience of a full kitchen. However, the next morning during check‑out, the worst happened: one of our guests slipped and fell, suffering a broken leg that required surgery. As the hotel operates on a self check‑in and self check‑out system, there were no staff present to assist, and we had to call an ambulance ourselves to avoid delaying treatment. We wrote to the hotel requesting an incident report, but received no response. This lack of accountability is unacceptable. Key concerns: No signage to indicate slippery stairs. No staff presence to provide assistance in emergencies. No response to our incident report request. This was a traumatic and preventable incident. The hotel must urgently address these safety lapses to protect future guests.

To be fair, wasnt able to stay in the hotel since realised only 1 day before check in date that - there isn't luggage holding or storage available - yamato does not pick up luggage from here - go apps does not help since no taxi driver accepts pick up from this location As we were travelling as a relatively big family with more than 6 big luggages and owner did not response to my reachout timely, the location and inconveniences to arrange for transport resulted in us changing our itinerary and missing out on staying in the hotel. We feedback to owner and Trip.com for mitigation if we can get some refund back, but to no avail. All in all while we understand its not owner's fault, I do wish they could reply promptly on enquiries and also review their cancellation and refund policy.

This hotel didn’t have 24hours front desk services , nevertheless travelers can easily reach out by free call services if needed assistance when you arrived. Is about 5-10mins walk from Hakone-Yumoto station. Turn left right after you exit from station , across the road whereby tourists information office and bus stations . Walk across a red bridge right after walking down from stairs station , turn left after crossing bridge ,walk few more mins and you will be able to reach the hotel .

Lovely stay. Definitely will come back. We love everything about this rental, the location, private hot spring, food, welcome drinks, the view is amazing, high technology room equipped, free toiletries from razors, high quality skincare sets, comb, ... Thanks to staffs, great customer service, hospitality, all that made our trip mesmerizing.

It was a very enjoyable five days.

This is my 5th time staying here. It's a wonderful house in a beautiful location, with everything you need inside. However, I'm always disappointed when they can't provide extra blankets; there often aren't enough when two guests share a bed. The reception is online, and there's no breakfast, but we always go to neighboring hotels for breakfast, which isn't an issue. Otherwise, everything is great. The price-quality ratio is fair.

Must complete pre-check in procedures the day before to get the door code to avoid delay in checking in. Overall very nice stay with real onsen filled with sulphur smel !

This hotel is brand new and offers fantastic amenities like a fully equipped kitchen, a very clean washer and dryer, and even a dishwasher! The best part is the in-room hot spring bath. Every evening, I looked forward to soaking in the 'natural hot spring components (Yunohana)'. It was incredibly relaxing! I learned that this type of spring water is excellent for relieving fatigue, joint pain, and is even good for your skin. Since I stayed for 5 days, the only minor inconvenience was the lack of an outdoor recycling area, so I had to contact customer service online for trash pickup. Aside from that, everything else was perfect!
