Hostels in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Basically it is very close to the station, it only takes less than five minutes to walk, the price is affordable, and there is an elevator, so people with large luggage don’t have to worry. But it was a pity that when I checked in, there were a lot of students checking in, and because the receptionist was not there 24 hours a day, those students started running loudly in the corridor after 11 o'clock in the evening. In the room, we listened to music loudly, drank, ate, and chatted. In addition, the room itself did not have any soundproofing. We were actually staying in a double room, but there was a shared dorm next to it, so it was very noisy.

There is need to improve on the check in times . I ended up not checking in because my flight was delayed and they insisted that checking in time was between 4pm - 7 pm . I ended up booking elsewhere to cater for my flight that was landing around 9 pm .

Unexpectedly, I found that this hostel is really good. Due to the small number of people, the designated city is a four-person room for girls. In the end, I live in one room by myself!

Food and stay were great. I felt it was a tad bit expensive for a one night hostel stay but I was grateful for the breakfast that was included. Location is easily accessible and city center can be reached by line 18. 😌

Everything feels really good until 4 am in the morning, I was awakened by weird noises kinda like heavy breathing and slipper dragging on the floor, I stayed in the mixed dormitory (because this hostel doesn’t have female only dorm). Nothing happened at the end, but that kind of experience was unpleasant at all. Will not go back again!

After watching the Dortmund game, I stayed in the single room here. The rest of the lounge is full of fans. Haha, there is a Western breakfast. The location is very good. It is a pedestrian street. It is great.
