2-Star Hotels in Shanghai, China

The apartment is located right in the七浦area which is Shanghai's wholesale fashion zone with many malls selling clothes, shoes and bags at low prices. Think Platinum Mall in BKK but even better! There are 2 metro lines within short walking distance and just a stop away from the famous Nanjing East Rd. The loft we stayed in for 4 nights was on level 25 and offered a great view of the Oriental Pearl Tower from the balcony. Lots of eateries downstairs and Luckin Coffee just across the road from the apartment made it super easy to get our morning coffee every day.

We booked two rooms, both looked as advertised which was very nice! Rooms were mostly clean, only very minor details were overlooked. We had a kitchenette but there was no cooking or eating equipment at all. Smoking seems to be allowed inside but the room didn't smell. Reception didn't speak any English but are well versed with translators. Overall would stay again.

Cleaness not too good, but the Service from homestay owner is magnificent. Fast response and so kind service....the homestay itself it's quite good and comfortable.it's just on a third floor with stairs, so like me with big and more than one baggage is quite tasking to lift it up to third floor. Location about 300meters from Shanxi South metro station.

Good place to stay! I do recommend this hotel if you like comfort and cheap prices in a good part of the city, reached of good restaurants nearby and good neighborhood to walk in.

I booked the hotel because I had an early flight in the morning and wanted a short distance to PVG. From the subway station East Huaxia Rd. it is about one km to walk. The room had everything i needed. The window was on the streetside, but this area is quiet in the night, so I slept very well. I didn't use it, but the room has also a small kitchen part including a washing machine.

Good value for money hotel. Spacious and clean room with a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom with a good shower. It’s a bit noisy, but as other guests were courteous, this was no problem at all. Good location also, close to the subway and various restaurants, shops and the Golden Temple.

really cute and nice place but bathroom was very very dirty. ***** hair in the shower and clogged drain, i had to ask them to unclog twice, first time guy went and kinda pretended to unclog, and the second time they just said “it will go down slowly” and just left the drain clogged. bathroom was really wet after shower. also had to ask to clean the ***** hairs and they didn’t clean properly. the toilet was dirty and the sink was also dirty around the drain. no elevators so be prepared if you come with heavy luggage. room is very nice and clean. desk girls were also very nice. the cat in the lobby was my favourite part. I’d just like to ask them to pay more attention to the cleanliness and unclog the drains. I would definitely stay there again though.

I had a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the luxurious decor — every detail was elegant and beautifully designed. The entire place was clean and quiet. The location is also excellent — very convenient and close to everything I needed. I will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

1. The hotel is strategically located, only 1 km from Jiangwan Town Station on Metro Line 3, and 15 minutes from Shanghai Railway Station on Metro Line 3 2. The hotel has a good internal environment, comfortable beds in the rooms, and is very quiet 3. The hotel is well-equipped with living facilities, and there are community canteens and supermarkets next door 4. It is only 1 km away from the famous Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, and it is convenient for family members to stay with the caregivers. It is a home-like economy hotel with affordable prices.

New hotel, good location, Xinzha Road subway station exit 5, turn right and it's only a few minutes away. Maybe the elevator is newly opened, the room is gray, the front desk is very enthusiastic and helped me solve some problems, the price-performance ratio is high, the smart toilet is too sensitive, sometimes I will be scared by the sound of the toilet lid 😅
