Budget-friendly accommodation but yet the service and the location are great. The place is a few hundred metres away from the Bund and the Nanjing East train station - which means very handy to visit the tourists spots. Also the facility is clean and comfortable. They provided a disposal towel to use as well.

I booked this airport hotel in Shanghai mainly because of its proximity to the airport and the advertised shuttle service. However, the shuttle only runs once an hour and only departs from Terminal 2. If you arrive at Terminal 1 at night, you first have to make your way to Terminal 2 and then hope you don’t just miss the shuttle—otherwise, you’re stuck waiting for up to an hour for the next one. Because of this, we ended up taking a taxi, which cost about 50% of the room rate on top of the overnight price. That definitely made the stay more expensive than expected. On the plus side, the shuttle back to the airport in the morning was punctual and even dropped us off at Terminal 1, so no complaints there. The hotel itself looks exactly like the pictures, but the rooms are not as well-maintained as they appear online. There were cracks in the ceiling and corners of the room. The lighting was pretty minimal, but at least everything was clean. The biggest issue was the temperature. It was around freezing outside, and the window was left open when we arrived. There was no heating, only an air conditioner, which was turned off. As a result, the entire room was absolutely freezing—probably close to the outside temperature. We had to struggle with the remote, which was only in Chinese, to turn on the heating. Even after setting it to 30°C, the room never really warmed up, so it was far from cozy. This was by far the biggest downside of the stay. On the bright side, the bed was comfortable, and we slept relatively well. However, the hotel is right in the airport’s flight path, so it’s quite noisy. The rooms are also very poorly soundproofed, so earplugs (which are provided) are highly recommended. For the price, it was okay, but I wouldn’t stay here for more than a few hours of sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and smooth.

The hotel was a very basic hotel which correlates with what we paid for. What i really dont like about the hotel is that the toilet door is frosted and one can actually see clearly via HANTING, the non frosted hotel brand name. Toiletries were handled to you upon check in. We stayed for 4 days and were handled 4 days of supplies and we were hands full. The location is awesome, it is a mere 5 mins walk to the bund. Seriously, you cannot get a hotel at this price for its proximity to the bund, so you gotta weigh the pros and cons. Service is okay, nothing fantastic, doesnt welcome you back that sort either. But when we asked for more water bottles, they gave us. On the last day, my friend fell very sick and had to visit the hospital, they very kindly extended the room check out time for us. However my friend wanted to rest in the room until evening and they suggested we downsize to a smaller room and pay by time block so we could save abit, im so thankful for their help for this arrangement.

Location is superb! Nature History Museum Metro is 10mins away. A small supermarket and 7-Eleven just 5 mins away. There are restaurants nearby and Nanjing West Metro is about 15mins away by foot. Water pressure is not strong but ok. Beds are clean and comfortable. Smallest room was tiny with no space for luggage. Owner is responsive. Washing machine did not work on the first day. Owner was apologetic and sent us a massive fruit basket and fixed the machine the next day. Overall it was a lovely stay. Attached is the view from the apartment.

Love it for all the street snacks vendors and the restaurants surrounding the hotel. You definitely should try the braised pig & duck stall (just right next to the hotel) and the jianbing (but the one with the meats) at the end of the block, and the fritters stall at the end of the block of the opposite site walk 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Great location, close to the Bund and multiple metro lines. One line direct from high speed rail station. Room was big enough for us to have space, but cleanliness is average. Sewer smell from bathroom. Air conditioning did not work, so slept with the window open all night. Interesting assortment of food for breakfast (see picture).

This hotel is very centrally located, nearby all main shopping and sightseeing areas, including museums in central Shanghai. It is a good value. The female reception staff was very nice and helpful during check-in, in super speed and without any fuss. Another reception staff named Xian was also extremely helpful and understanding when I extended my stay. I would certainly come back to stay there.

It's just at the right location for a Shanghai stopover. Whether from hongqiao or Pudong, take line 2 to Nanjing dong lu station.......use exit 2.....only this has escalators up n down from the subway station to ground floor. Turn left from the Henderson building into the main pedestrian street ,towards the anime building......just on the sidelane of the anime building...there is a lift that will bring u to the 7th flr where the hotel is. It's only a very short walk from Henderson building....about 100m.....glance right....into the side path....and u will see the sign for hanting hotel. Rooms are not big but it's a convenient stopover hotel as u get to see Nanjing Lu and the bund Farther up.

I love how the hotel is near every most of the metro 4号口，12号口，13号口，14号口, wow these lines are the most convenient to go to Nanjing road, the bund and most of the tourist’s attractions in Shanghai, but the location is a bit hard to find for me when I arrived there. It was on the third floor of one beautiful building but at the end I got there with the staff’s help. Overall, the room and prices are suitable for someone who wants to go there in Shanghai where u can go almost every places with Metro. I would say, not bad but still need to be more clean a bit,that’s all.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is very close to the subway and it is also really central. The hotel is less then 10 minutes cab to the bund and one station away from jing an temple. It is surrounded by several restaurants and malls and you can take a stroll at nanjing west road so it’s very convenient for getting food or shopping and it is quiet at night. The rooms are very clean and newly renovated. The service was also impeccable! The front desk staff was very attentive to helping me when I had any questions and I comfortably stayed here for several weeks :).
