Hello
We got an awesome room or say , It was a Suite with super pretty view. Breakfast was awesome. One thing I did not like . There was no thermostat or temperature control on the room. We had a duplex room and in the Top , It was very hot. The problem was that we couldn't control it
The location is very convenient, just across the road from the train station. The room is clean, new and relatively large. Check-out is simple, just put the key in the box at the front desk. There is a parking lot for guests only, and you can park for free.
About an 8-minute walk from Brigg Station. I stayed here the night before going to Zermatt. There are many restaurants nearby so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat.
The rooms are simple but clean.
Amenities include towels, hand soap, body soap? (not specified), and shampoo? (the bottle was broken so no shampoo came out).
I thought it would be better if the bath amenities were labeled with names, but it was clean and I think it's enough for just a night's stay.
Very good experience. The rooms are very nice and well equipped. The breakfast was great. At the same time, the store also presented a full-day cable car ticket, which costs 70 Swiss francs if you buy it yourself.
🔔Service: Very good!
🍃Environment: Very good!
This hotel is really a treasure. During the day, I was playing at the Matterhorn in Zermatt. The price of the nearby hotels was too high, so I looked for hotels in the outskirts. It happened to be Saturday that day, and most hotels were very expensive. While looking at the Swiss SBB route map, I found the city of Sion and saw this hotel.
The room is so big, and it is very comfortable for a family of three. It is also very close to the train station. After getting familiar with it, it only takes 4 minutes to push the suitcase to the station entrance (Ctrip’s positioning is wrong, it is remote, and it is actually not that far from the train station). I like this super large glass window the most. The scenery after opening the blinds is really amazing. The city of Sion is very comfortable. After getting up in the morning, I walked to the castle and went back to pack up and check out. It felt so comfortable to lie on the bed facing the scenery.
The breakfast is also great! This is the hotel that surprised me the most recently!
Overall, the hotel was a bit outside of the city center of Sion but nothing to complain about. We didn't have breakfast there so I can't say anything about that.
The room was clean, a bit small but with enough amenities. Service was also okay although we didn't have too many interactions with the employees.
Hotel is clean and comfortable but my swimsuit got stolen. I forgot it in the room upon checkout. 2 hours later I remembered i left it hanging on the door - went back to hotel to retrieve it and staff said they couldn’t find it. 2 days later I called and they still couldn’t find it - so it’s clear it was stolen. I am rather disappointed. Definitely not coming back.
#Praise# Satisfied with the lighting, safety and convenient transportation in the room; #Negative review#Comfort of bedding, room size, disappointment in the nearby restaurant; much better than Ibis in other European countries, at least not dirty, can live, service is very warm, location is good.
I took my kids to ski. This hotel is close to the main street, but not easy to find. It's in a small alley behind the main street. I arrived at the hotel at night and asked several people but no one knew where it was. I searched for a long time in the snow and ice before I found it. Fortunately, the town is safe. When I entered the hotel, the room key was left in an envelope at the front desk. The entire hotel facility is new and clean. The room is also very comfortable and the breakfast is very rich. I walked out the next day and realized that the hotel is still in the center. But it is still a distance from the ski lift, so I need to take a taxi. It takes less than ten minutes to get there. It's interesting to choose a taxi in the town when I don't know the direction for the first time.
AAnonymous UserIt's easy to access from all stations in Chermatt, and the roads are simple. It's along the river, so if you get lost while walking around town, just follow the river and you'll find your way there.
The room had a beautiful, unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. It was amazing to see the mountain reddened by the morning sun as I woke up from my room.
The breakfast was simple, but the service was good, with the waitress offering hot tea and coffee. The bread was delicious.
There was a shared lounge in the room behind the front desk, and it had board games, books, and a coffee machine. It was open 24 hours a day.
TTAEYING SPECIALISTStaying at Hotel Alpenblick in Zeneggen was one of the most peaceful and heartfelt parts of my entire Swiss trip.
The hotel is located high up in the mountains, at around 1,370 meters above sea level, surrounded by pure nature and breathtaking alpine views. While the public transport is understandably limited due to the remote location, once you arrive, you’ll understand why it’s worth it.
The atmosphere is quiet, calming, and deeply rejuvenating. It’s the kind of place where you truly slow down and feel present. The staff were exceptionally kind and caring—they made me feel like part of their family, not just a guest. I’m especially grateful for how much they helped me during my stay.
The hotel’s interior is decorated with charming European touches that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a living art piece—cozy, elegant, and full of character. Breakfast was absolutely top-notch, with a rich and thoughtful spread every morning.
Of course, being in such close contact with nature means there might be a few insects and there’s no air conditioning—but for anyone who appreciates fresh mountain air and the natural world, this place is perfect.
Highly recommended for nature lovers, artists, or anyone needing a quiet mountain escape. I’m truly thankful to the entire team at Alpenblick for creating such a special experience.
SStellakwansyStaying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for.
The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences.
I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!
HHKJCHotel Bristol offers a unique blend of convenience and charm in Zermatt. Its prime location, just a short 7-10 minute walk from the main street, provides an unparalleled view of the Matterhorn at sunrise - a sight you can enjoy from the comfort of your warm bed. The hotel's cozy atmosphere, clean rooms, and friendly staff ensure a pleasant stay. Practical amenities like free shuttle service to and from the station add to the convenience. The breakfast buffet is a highlight, featuring a rich variety of choices and a delightful self-service egg and pancake station. While not directly on the main street, the slight distance offers a peaceful retreat without sacrificing accessibility to Zermatt's attractions.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the best location walkable from the Zermatt main station easy to find food and drinks, close to coop and the hotel have nice terrace in front that u can sit for people watching our room had nice view of
matterhorn comfortable bed. With moon roof
GGuest UserSelect no others than this!!
You will not regret it. For they have the amazing view of the mountains from their balcony, and a great access even for the disabled.
The room i stayed were located at the ground floor, thus they have wheelchair accessible spaces and even a sitting area for the shower which i think is a lovely touch to either elderly or disabled.
Cleanliness is top notch and breakfast is great with variety. Pick the window seat like the lovely lady at the restaurant suggested us to as we are the first to arrive for breakfast every morning 😆
If you come during the winter, the room have direct access to the snow outside (check out my new outdoor fridge 🙈) and the bathroom floor is well heated for you too.
I’d definitely recommend this if this is your first time visiting.
GGuest UserAbsolutely incredible stay at this hotel- the view was worth it, as was the novelty of staying at 3100 m! The meals were excellent and the staff very friendly and welcoming.
We would highly recommend staying here and having this unique experience.
RrickychungkkI had an amazing stay at this place! The location was perfect—close to the city center, public transportation, local shops, and restaurants. The apartment was clean, well-decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee, luxury toiletries, and a guidebook with local tips.
The host was an excellent host, providing clear communication and quick responses to any questions we had. They even left a welcome basket and gave us great restaurant recommendations.
Overall, this Airbnb exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We hope to return soon!
BBensongymThe hotel is on the side of the observation deck mountain train station and 3 minutes from Zermatt train station, the location is unbeatable. The Matterhorn can be seen from the terrace, which is very convenient for watching the sunrise. The breakfast is very delicious;there are not many hotel rooms, so the restaurant is not big and not crowded, you can have breakfast in peace and comfort. Even though there is only one waiter in the restaurant, she can greet you attentively because there are not many guests. The shopping mall next to the mountain train station has a large COOP supermarket for easy food shopping; you can enjoy dinner leisurely on the terrace or room (dinner out is really expensive).
