For self-drivers, the location is excellent with convenient parking. There are large supermarkets and currency exchange points right next to and behind the hotel. The dining options nearby offer better value for money compared to the old town. I didn't have high expectations, but it actually exceeded them a bit. The room was well-proportioned and neatly arranged, and it was very clean. The only downside was that breakfast was too simple, overly simple. It was mostly decorative with not much substantial food to eat.

Checking in at the Green Mountain Indigo Hotel was incredibly relaxing! Its prime mountain location offered a cool and pleasant escape from the heat. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with stylish decor incorporating local elements. The food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and generous portions, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. The viewpoint was within walking distance, and the surrounding area was convenient for sightseeing and hiking. Cleanliness was impeccable, the bedding was comfortable and sleep-inducing, and the facilities were well-maintained. It was a fantastic family vacation experience, tranquil and relaxing, with excellent value for money. Booking through Ctrip was super convenient, and I would definitely book again!

Stepping into Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar, I am immediately transported into a place of relaxation and it’s almost when time has stood still. No doubt, the service standards has been from start to finish extremely impeccable. I am very amazed that the staff are all very polite and very friendly and forthcoming. In particular, I am very impressed with Cristina, a staff from Bella Vista Italian Restaurant. Cristina has been so friendly and she has managed to make us feel at home even only with just a dinner affair. The attention to details of provided is mind blowing and I so impressed by the breakfast buffet spread that I am spoilt for choices. Notwithstanding, the view is absolutely breathtaking and each time I stand at the viewpoints of the hotel I am always amazed at he grandeur of the canyons that the hotel overlooks. This place is a must visit for anyone who wants luxurious living , glorious view sand excellent service standards.

The hotel is built on a cool mountainside with refreshing air and spectacular views. The staff were generally friendly. The breakfast was plentiful. If you don't want to eat at the hotel, there's a small town just a 5-minute drive away with many restaurants (at reasonable prices). The hotel's food is more expensive, but the ambiance is better. The bathroom is a bit small, and the shower stall doesn't have a door, so water splashes out, making it impossible to completely separate the wet and dry areas. The hotel offers free activities such as a treehouse, rock climbing, billiards, and table tennis, as well as many paid activities.

A magnificent stay at The View. It’s definitely an adventure to get to the hotel through bumpy roads however the location is absolutely breathtaking. For those looking for sublime views after a day of canyoning and adventuring around Jebel Shams. You will not regret your stay. The hotel itself is very well equipped and the food options are diverse especially in the evening when a buffet is available. The staff is so welcoming and helpful, we appreciate especially Richard’s (Manager) help throughout our stay. On top of it all, if you don’t mind a cold swim - one of the most beautiful pools I have ever seen !

This hotel should be the best hotel I have stayed in Oman. The room is very big and the view is not ordinary. The hotel built on the edge of the cliff, you can watch the sunrise and sunset, very beautiful. The breakfast was also very good, and the service staff were very nice and helpful. Regarding the service of the hotel, the view is impeccable. The only thing to note is: if you are driving by yourself, you must drive a four-wheel drive up the mountain, otherwise the police at the checkpoint at the bottom of the mountain will not let you go up the mountain. Just before I went up the mountain, I went to the car rental company to re-rent a four-wheel drive up the mountain (the local four-wheel drive rents about 30 to 50 riyals a day). If you don’t want to rent a car and drive by yourself, you can make an appointment with the hotel 48 hours in advance and let the hotel arrange a car to pick you up at the foot of the mountain, but the cost is very high, and the round-trip fare is 130 riyals. It's also worth mentioning that if you don't want to eat the hotel's dinner, you have to bring food up there, and you basically can't find a place to buy food after you go up. If you choose to dine at the hotel, basically the cheapest is about 15 riyals per person.

The room is quite big

It can be seen that the hotel is a bit old, but the service is very good, the facilities can also be seen to be constantly updated, the pool is very comfortable, very holiday atmosphere, it is recommended

The hotel is high up in the mountain, a good place to stay to see Diana view point and it’s rather cold up there.
