📍Safranbolu Seyi̇r Konak Hotel
The first stop of the Turkey trip, I rushed here as soon as I got off the plane. It took 4 and a half hours to drive from Istanbul. I checked in on March 15th. The price was 622r, one night stay, including breakfast, which was very rich. The boss also treated me to unlimited black tea in the evening~
🅿️There is a parking space at the door, free!
You can see the entire Saffron City, the scenery is superb! Very good film! Well worth staying! Highly recommended
The boss is very enthusiastic and takes the initiative to help with parking~
The main reason was that we didn't select the right Google route to the ancient town, so we got lost in the ancient town and ended up walking to the homestay. The boss called a taxi to help us drive over, and the taxi fare cost 150 liras. Anyway, we arrived at the first stop smoothly!
On a business trip in Ankara, I stopped by the small town of Safranbolu and selected this B&B after reading it online. Although the owner's family doesn't speak much English, they are warm and hospitable, and the small courtyard and room are very warmly decorated. When it rains, we have a hearty and authentic Turkish breakfast in the small garden, listening to the rain and looking at the mountains, which is a unique feeling. When we left, the boss even drove us to the bus stop. The room is a bit small, after all, it is an old house renovated.
Very comfortable four-star hotel, located on the hillside on the outskirts of crocus city, there are many restaurants in the nearby market, good environment, good equipment, good service, and outdoor swimming pool... Breakfast is rich and varied, you can fried Om eggs, nearby residents are particularly friendly to Taiwanese, Someone took the initiative to take pictures with us, even the restaurant owner saw us also intuitively thought that we were Taiwanese, and kept shouting for thousands... This is a fresh experience of traveling for many years
Magical! THE very best hotel we stayed during a 14 day around a Turkey trip.
We are only staying for one night in Safranbolu so we chose to stay in one of the iconic Ottoman houses and that was a good decision.
Walkable to the museum and shops on pebbled street. We felt like living in history.
All the period features has been very carefully preserved. So many things to look at and appreciate, the wooden windows, the fabric, the metal clutches and the heavy key.
What amazed us is how useable of these historic items. The door just closes itself very smoothly and locks with a satisfying clunck. The bedding is super comfy with high count weave of cotton and goose down pillows. The bathroom is sufficiently modernised.
Everywhere around the house and garden is a framable picture. Love how the decorations are put in place. Not too busy or too instagrammable but relaxed and artistically arranged.
We had an amazing stay and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Asam guided us from the car park and carried our luggage up the stairs and showed us the cool wine cellar. Sofia’s breakfast is delicious with the best home made saffron jam and ginger jam and apricot jam. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family if they are visiting Safranbolu.
Also the classical music in the garden is a nice touch!

During our trip to the city of Sanfranbolu, we had an extraordinary lodging experience. The house, constructed of stone, was adorned with meticulous decorations throughout, reflecting the care and attention of the hostess. Breakfast was a delightful surprise in the morning, featuring homemade jams crafted from a plethora of organic ingredients, tantalizing pancakes, salads, and a variety of cheeses, all accompanied by the classic Turkish tea. What truly enhanced our stay was the enjoyable conversations with the host. Thanks to the guidance of this geology and history professor, our Turkish itinerary underwent significant revisions. Overall, it was an unforgettable accommodation experience!
The old house is well preserved, the room toilets are very clean, but the location of the hotel is relatively high, you need to climb, but you will be there within ten minutes of walking to the old town. The boss is very kind. The room is located on the second floor. It is more laborious to carry luggage and climb the stairs.
The room is very distinctive, wooden, suitable for taking pictures. It is a very typical local feature. There are carpets and Turkish tea to drink. I stayed for 8 days and it was a bit like my own home.
It would be nonsense to come to Safranbolu and stay in a normal hotel. They restored the old mansions and turned them into hotels. There is such a hotel in Yorgancıoğlu Mansions, the rooms have been restored with woodworking, originality intact, the staff are completely family employees, they are all friendly.

GGuest UserHotel has nice location, not in the historical centrer, but nearby in the modern part of the city, you have a lot of convenience stores, restaurants with cheap prices, and very close to the historical part of city.
Staff is very kind.
Breakfast is in form of buffet, nothing special, but just enough.
It is very loudly in the room, walls are completely not soundproof, and there is a lot of loud noise from the very busy street.
Car parking is just parking at the street in front of hotel, so not best option, but it is.
Please note despite AC is mentioned in the offer, there were no remote controller to turn it on, and at reception they told us AC is not working.
Given that you can find better hotel for less money, I had bigger expectations to this hotel.

浅浅浅的美好The hotel reception was very warm and kind, I miss her very much. She helped me carry the box, called the car for me, and watched me leave. Knowing that my stomach is not good, will prepare the food I need, I am very grateful. I think I will come back again, next time I will stay in a room a little bigger in the bathroom. Outside the window you can see the mountain, the tower, and the Richard dog, I miss it very much. There is also a beautiful green yard and sunshine, I will definitely go back again.

PPanji SamodroThe view is stunning, and the room is clean, although I was a bit disappointed because I didn’t get the room I had booked. I reserved a room with a balcony but didn’t receive one. However, it’s okay because the host is very friendly, and you won’t go hungry while staying here.
IIlkerCA quite clean and related facility. There are vehicles in the rooms like a sabble shampoo hair dryer. Beds are comfortable and clean. One of the safest places to stay around. Also rooms are hot for those who think of staying in the winter.
HHüseyinThe room was a bit cold, the radiator temperature was low. Due to its structure, it is forbidden to use instant heaters in the rooms. The towels were old. The location is within walking distance to touristic places. There is no food service other than breakfast. The family who runs it is very kind and helpful. Their breakfast was good. The TV did not work. We could not enjoy the view very much because the windows were small. It is a very suitable place for those who want to stay in a historical mansion and remember the feeling of a village house. You can easily choose it.
