It was very helpful to use the shuttle service to the nearest station and to Parque Espana. I was especially impressed that they took the trouble to come back to pick me up from the nearest station, even though it was fully booked! There was a large public bath, and the breakfast was more delicious and had more items than I expected. There were no convenience stores around the inn, so I went shopping near the station before heading out, but there was a small shop inside the building. I would definitely like to travel there again, especially when I go to Parque Espana.

Just before GW, I stayed as a refreshment when I visited Ise Jingu shrine. I had ISE tea and cheese cake hospitality after checking in at the front desk, but this cheese cake was very delicious. The room is modern Japanese. The view is outstanding with the sea from the window. It was a nice room. Dinner was a Japanese course (with spiny lobster and abalone) in a private room of a restaurant called Shiraishi, but the volume was just right and everything was delicious. Also, the male staff who were in charge at this dinner was very friendly and I was able to spend a satisfying time. Breakfast is also Japanese, but it was very delicious and I was able to relax. The hot spring bath was also beautiful and good. I think the customer service of the hotel staff 々 (both male staff and female staff 々) is outstanding. Also, I would like to stay when visiting Ise Jingu shrine.

Having come to Ise to visit Ise Shrine, while I had to work online, I needed a good internet access and selected this hotel. The building is new and super clean overall. It should have been perfect if the internet access was good, though the location is a bit away from Ise Shrine and the Ise stations. Two reasons why I give just three stars. 1. The most important thing - Internet access! Terrible. Wifi keeps falling, and I need to reset the Wifi on mobile and the laptop. VPN is no way. Zoom didn't work, either. Just pathetic. With the third call with the front desk, I got a router, which never had a Wifi signal and was useless. I ended up bringing out my Rakuten pocket router, and it was able to make my day, whew!  I'm sure the hotel staff would help till I get the comfortable internet access. I tried but lost a patience after having called them three times (I was 7-minute late for my Zoom meeting, being hassled to get connected, that should be a good reason to take one star down, too).2. I wanted to use the big bathtub for a comfort from my long trip, but I got hesitated to pass through the front area and didn't go and use. The hotel allows the guests to wear Yukata and Tanzen to come to the bath, but I didn't want to. I don't get how the guests can be comfortable in Yukata in lobby. Even with my regular clothes, well, I couldn't imagine myself passing through the people at the front desk right after taking the bath... I've never seen a hotel with such a awful bathroom location, so one star down, definitely. お伊勢参りが目的で、でも仕事があるためこのホテルを予約しました。インターネットアクセスがマストなるも、結局使えず、セットアップに悪戦苦闘しただけ。ホテルのロケーションは町から離れており、インターネットアクセスの状態からして、結果として、このビジネスホテルにする必要はなかったです。

I felt a little sorry with Tana ～. ISE tsurutoba is a local people who are enough distance on a day trip, so I was able to spend a good time at a better hotel that I usually never stay at.

I went to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my husband and wife. It was a naive and nice inn. The staff and the lady general (the big lady?)? Between the love lights, I enjoyed the meal slowly without the couple water in a separate room. Some people wrote that the separate room was moldy, but the separate room is certainly a room that is not used now, but the cleaning is well done and the moldy smell is completely I didn't. I asked if I would eat at a stretch or one item at a stretch (my house was fast to eat, and I was careful, so I asked him to eat at a stretch. Because you can eat your favorite at your own pace. Japanese style room selected. Huge property with loads of onsite recreation activities such as a full golf course, putting course, sports field, tennis courts, yoga, ping pong, star gazing programs and etc. Access to marina and beach within 1.5km walk. You can walk the whole property in an hour but mainly by road. Some walking trails. Use of optional pay land/golf cart to get around property. Three types of natural hot springs baths: ”Healing,” ”Purification-open air,” and ”Regeneration” which were very clean and enjoyable but busy with guests. Onsite self laundry, 3 sets of machines were free for self use. You just pay for detergent. I just tossed in a load while I was in the hot springs. Pre-order the shuttle as per their booking deadlines to ensure you are picked up from the train station at their scheduled times. We had a late dinner trying their sea / umi 8 course meal and lobster & soba noodles, which were all delicious and beautiful presentation.

I saw a nice photo of the homepage and decided to this hotel immediately. Lobby, courtyard, pool, corridor... It was a hotel full of exotic feelings that I wanted to take pictures everywhere. Clean, customer service was polite and cozy. However, I felt that it took a little time to see the sightseeing spot. So this time I will be at the hotel and will use it again next year ♪

After staying at many other ryokans and receiving warm and personalized service, we found this place to be very large and quite impersonal. The dining experience has more of a cafeteria vibe - even though a kaiseki meal is being served. The server comes in with each course and and provides a quick description in Japanese and immediately exits. The printed menu is also only in Japanese and no effort is made to explain the courses if you speak English. Service feels rushed at times and at other times you may be sitting for quite a while before the next course arrives. You'll have to track someone down to refill your water. Breakfast buffet is similarly chaotic and not exceptionally creative. Though you are paying quite a high rate for the room, you must also pay additional for other services such as use of the game room or to play ping pong. Gift shop is highly priced so would suggest you get your drinks/snacks at the train station before catching the shuttle to the hotel. The hotel is pretty isolated so their shuttle to and from the train station is much appreciated. The bath is spacious and clean though would appreciate if they had more prominent signage to encourage use of the open air bath which is in a separate location. The view of Ago bay from the room is spectacular. However the large picture window allows a lot of sun/heat to warm the room and the air conditioner is not very strong. The most memorable part of our stay was our encounter with Mr. Ohta who runs the bowling alley. He is a wonderful person who made our experience so enjoyable by sharing his bowling tips, helping us to do scoring and cheering for our strikes and spares. It is clear that he loves his job and we found his hospitality to be so genuine.

I heard that the morning sun is a beautiful room, but it was a pity that I could not see the morning sun, the morning glow was beautiful. The room, the food, the service, it's truly Amanemu. It was good that there were few people in the sauna and spa, but I wanted to stay a little longer because it was an hour system. In addition, we want to go to stay!

The front desk's customer service was not so good. Maybe they were still new! I wish they would practice a bit more. I had a child with me, so if there were no children's clothes in the room, I wish they would have told me when I checked in. Then I wouldn't have to go and get them every time. If they could just fix that, I think they could provide better customer service.  Please do your best.

I stayed in a twin room at GW １ for a night. Until before arrival, I was a little worried about staying with small children 々, but I am really grateful that everyone is friendly to kids. We recommend a course where you can take a walk along the promenade from The Bay Suite to The Classic. Sea urchin bonfam caviar, spiny lobster American sauce, and abalone steak (especially two kinds of vanilla butter sauce) were exceptional. At the １ F shop in the classic, there is a local jibie curry bread sold only on Sundays, which is recommended.

This was definitely my best experience at a hotel in Japan. Hotel staff were very courteous and attentive. We were treated like VIPs throughout the stay. Our room was superb, with a great view of the bay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable (where can we buy those pillows?). The room was very quiet. In many hotels, you will often hear some buzzing noise of AC (?), but not in this hotel. We particularly enjoyed our time in the guest lounge with a reading room—looking over Ago Bay at sunset and enjoying small but exquisite hors d'oeuvres (the quiche was a killer!). For non-readers, this is a romantic place to look into your lover’s eyes. I enjoyed reading, relaxing next to my husband, who was sipping wine. I couldn’t finish “Karei-naru Ichizoku” so we will come back to finish the book. It would be better if the reading room had a better selection of books both in Japanese and in English--for example, some novels set in ocean resort hotels (I can recommend some), and reading lamps (for after sunset). Our stay concluded with an amazing breakfast. Although it was called “American breakfast,” it came with soup (which tasted great) and a salad (which tasted great, too, and very very fresh—cucumbers tasted amazingly juicy). I have never had a better egg benedict! The hollandaise sauce is flavored with shrimp, elevating the egg benedict to a real French dish. Overall, this is the best place to come when you want to be pampered. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hiogiso is our best memory in Japan where we stayed for 3 weeks. We loved the place, the meals, the kindness of the staff, who really took care of us and were so smiley. We slept well, the room was comfortable, well equipped and spacious. The view was also incredible. The establishment is on the water so there are lots of crabs coming and going outside, it's lovely. The meals were incredible. We really enjoyed the sunset boat trip with the owner of the establishment. A charming, very classy man who spoke English quite well. We regret not having stayed longer because there are many places to visit around. Maybe next time...

I stayed on a trip in April. The building is not a new building, but it was well cleaned. It was a Japanese-Western style room and it was a luxury for a family ５ name. The children were happy with the buffet style for dinner and breakfast. When I walked on the promenade outside, I was able to go to the observatory in about ５. It was very moving because I was able to go at sunset time. The staff were fewer young, but they were very kind and helpful. I took a bath at night and in the morning, but I recommend it because the view is very good in the morning. There are two things I was curious about. When I arrived at the hotel, it would have been nice to have a parking lot information if possible. The door of the open-air bath was often open and it was cold. I went to tighten it several times, but I gave up because I was playing with it. The spring part on the door may be old. I went to see the word of mouth before my stay, so I didn't expect much, but overall I was happy with the very good inn. Another point is that there is no convenience store nearby, so you should be careful.

We stayed in a sea view room, from the room you can see the beautiful sea and mountains, the glass in the room is very clean, and the overall cleaning is very good. Thanks to a waitress named Meng who was Chinese when I checked in, she helped us as a translator, which made us go through the formalities smoothly. Miss Meng also told us the place to eat breakfast and dinner, the time and place of the hot spring, if there is no help from Miss Meng, We will encounter a lot of difficulties, because this hotel is very large and bustling, walking like a maze, like such an international tourist hotel too need people who can speak Chinese. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are very special, especially dinner, as well as roast beef and seafood, which is great! The location of the hotel is excellent. It takes only three minutes to get out of the Bird's Station. There is also a sightseeing bus terminal and a cruise ship terminal next to it. The bathrobes and pyjamas provided by the hotel during our stay were very comfortable, though something of a shame to not be able to go from room to onsen without outdoor clothes (other robes are provided at the onsen). I and my partner both have various food allergies or intolerances but the hotel has an exceptionally good way of managing allergies by asking you to submit a form beforehand. As a result of this, we were both able to have full, proper meals with no issues. For the breakfast buffet, we were given a sheet, in English, of all the dishes on service and all allergens. The food was excellent and the wine list was the best I have seen anywhere in Japan. There are regular shuttles from the hotel to station, and the reverse. However, these stop after a certain hour and the hotel is not easily walkable from the station. I am still not really sure how this would normally be done, I assume the hotel will pick you up if asked but we were not sure how to arrange (and originally thought from the map that it would be walkable). Honestly, I am looking forward to going back there - hopefully for an anniversary!

Stayed 2 nights as a family vacation in July 2023. I was attracted by the water park and onsens photos on the agoda website. The hotel description AND the amenities list also included the water park. BUT it's not open until after mid July. We felt duped. We were given a beautiful room that consists of two beds and two futons. There were a sitting area and a Japanese bathroom. I have no complaints except the hotel notebook is dusty and there's a dead bug in the stationery tray. Maybe they don't clean it - like ever? After covid one would expect a hotel would pay more attention to cleaning... The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet both had good spreads. We liked wagyu beef and the little hotpot at dinner. There are 3 onsen locations. They are all different. There are massage machines as well. We got quite busy. Although they were very polite and eager to help, almost no one spoke English at the hotel. The instructions and hotel map were written in Japanese only. We did have fun guessing and gesturing. Surprisingly my kids liked the vending machines the most. They venture out by themselves to get ramen,  milk, ice cream, etc. as their little treasure hunt every night.

Have loved Toba for many years..and stayed at the Toba Grand many times. Only on 1 occasion was I lucky enough to stay in a Sakura room on the 8th floor…but not so lucky on this my last stay in Toba. The good points: 1.Free shuttle to/from the hotel and the driver handed out wet towels on this occasion 2.Welcome drinks in the lobby 3.A good selection of food for dinner & breakfast 4.The hot spring baths are good. The bad points: 1.The hotel is badly in need of refurbishment in the rooms on 6th & 7th floors/Badly stained & old windows and the room and bathroom/toilet are out of date. 2.The restaurant area is really dirty in certain places and insects can be seen running about!The were too many families with young children here this time and the restaurant was crowded all the time it seemed. 3.The Japanese staff have no English language skills…but the abundance of Nepalese staff at this hotel at present helps a little in that regard. This hotel has a wonderful location…and if you want to look out at the water then it is good…but as mentioned Toba seems to be a neglected area in many respects…and this is certainly true for this hotel at present.

Facing the sea, the room facilities are relatively new, the bath is also very good, free to the station, but the holiday price is too expensive

I used it on a group trip with people with disabilities. If the prefecture is not the same prefecture, the travel company seems to be unable to move, and all of them responded directly. There was a difference, and it was hard, but I answered this request properly. The meal was about the first of the group trips until now, and it was impressed with the handmade feeling that the breakfast was used. There were many foreign people, but everyone felt neat and nice. The building is old, but I want to go again for a delicious meal and hot spring.

It's the most joyful family in Japan when I come back! Although a bit old, hygiene is absolutely fine. There is a shuttle service to jr toba, about 5 minutes by car. The hotel has Chinese staff. Ctrip is not very honest. The so-called sea view room is just a sea view at the end of the view. The open-air experience is very good! Breakfast is mainly Japanese, with many varieties, personally prefer. Check out at 10 o'clock, unfortunately I did n’t enjoy it. If possible, I will go to Toba again.

伊勢神宮へ参拝の際に宿泊。2泊3日ツインの最上階を予約しました。水色系の爽やかな色調が、窓越しに見える真っ青な海とマッチ。伊勢志摩の美しい眺望にも癒されました。市街地からそこそこ離れているので、車があると便利（送迎バスもあります）。力強いピアノ演奏が流れる中、ウェルカムドリンクのあと、海岸に出てちょっと散歩。食事は夕食・朝食ともビュッフェ形式でしたが、メニューによっては賛否両論となるかもしれません・・・。私はローストビーフが1番美味しかったです。別料金で松坂牛も頼みましたが、最後筋みたいな固い部分に当たってしまい残念だった。温泉も快適なのですが、露天風呂はデザインにこだわらず、もう少し広くてもいいんじゃないかなぁー？？って思いました。全体的に居心地がとてもよく、快適に過ごさせていただきました。また行きます。

We stayed for one night with three adults and three children. We are sorry for leaving a lot of food for our children (ages 5, 3 and 1), and for the person who cooked. When I made the reservation online, I wrote in the questions and comments section that I was worried about the meals for the children. I received a call at the same time as the reservation. I made the reservation by saying that my one-year-old child would not need a futon or food, and that my five-year-old and three-year-old children would receive a children's plate. I should have checked the amount of the children's plate at that time. I heard that it was about the same as a children's lunch, so I thought that the side dishes, rice and dessert would be served on a large plate on one plate. In reality, it was too much for even a five-year-old to eat. I was also surprised by the front desk's response at check-in. They asked if I wanted to add more when they saw my one-year-old, so I ordered it thinking that my one-year-old child would be able to eat it, but I would have liked some advice that two plates would be enough. I hope that they will be more considerate of people with children in the future (checking their age and amount of food). I hope that they will help prevent food waste again.
