The hotel is located within Mount Sanqing, requiring a drive up the mountain, close to the Waishuangxi cable car. Since we had to return the same day, we chose the Jinsha cable car, which was about a 40-minute drive from the hotel. The hotel's facilities are really old. The towels were thin and damaged, the hairdryer switch didn't work, the hand soap dispenser was empty, and the toilet seat was wooden, like something from over a decade ago. Choosing the mountain view balcony was a bit of a mistake; the mountain was right in front of us, too close to see any distant views. My son went to the gym, which didn't have many machines, but the service was very good.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right near the subway station and Nanchang Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around or catching a train. The room facilities are all brand new, and they even offer free late-night noodles that are really delicious. The only minor drawback is that the mattress is a bit soft, which took some getting used to since I prefer a firm bed. But I still slept quite well! Overall, the good outweighs the bad, and I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The room was spotless and free of any smoke smell, which was a big plus. Shortly after checking in, a welcome fruit platter was delivered, and to my surprise, it even included physalis (groundcherry) – I haven't seen this outside of Northeast China before, so that was a delightful surprise. The room's view was excellent, being on the 65th floor, offering a stunning high-altitude river view. At night, overlooking the Gan River and the magnificent night view of Tengwang Pavilion was breathtaking. The afternoon lounge was also quite good. The afternoon tea offered a decent selection of desserts and hot food. Enjoying a lovely meal while sitting by the window and admiring the scenery was truly wonderful. In the evening, the lounge (hh) even offered a choice of steak or lamb chops; I went with the lamb chops, and they were deliciously rich in flavor. Dinner at Xin Nan Xuan downstairs was excellent. Compared to popular 'influencer' restaurants outside, both the price and quality were far superior, with generous portions and fantastic taste. Service was very friendly. I used the member check-in counter, even though I'm not a member, because there was no one else there, and they didn't object. Since I had an early morning flight the next day and left quite early, they thoughtfully prepared a grab-and-go breakfast for me, which was very considerate.

The hotel's front desk staff were very attentive and helpful. The mattress in the room was just right – not too soft, not too firm. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. Plus, right across the street is Xianghu Wetland Park, and the scenery there is absolutely stunning. Overall, it was a great stay.

Every time I bring my boss and friends to visit my hometown, it is the best choice to arrange it at Honor. The room is cost-effective The bedding is comfortable The breakfast is OK Free desserts and fruits are arranged It would be better if the girl at the front desk was more friendly.

Pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade to what I think is their suite room, or junior suite at least, on the highest floor at Level 26. A huge living room with a working desk and separate toilet. A luxurious bedroom with loads of space, a walk-in open wardrobe big enough for 2 large luggages. Bathtub, standing shower, another toilet and twin basins. Bed is firm but pillows are too soft for my liking. Service was also on point, Barry at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I guess all these makes up for the location. It's near the exhibition centre and Nanjingxi train station but other than that there's nothing else within walking distance. Luckily food delivery is fast and cheap here, same with ride hailing. I wish the hotel had robots sending my delivery up though. And that the lifts worked faster. But overall it's a good stay and will be my choice hotel the next time I attend an exhibition here.

The robot 🤖 delivery for meals was fast; I used to dislike them because Atour's robots took an hour, but this time it was all very quick. I saw comments about the TV 📺 being small and carpeted rooms being small, while carpet-less rooms were larger (though who watches TV when they're traveling?!). The room was exceptionally bright, the brightest I've ever seen. The decor style was normal, and the facilities were sufficient: a wardrobe, a desk, a lamp, and a small refrigerator were all provided. There was also a map, and I hope for a complete Jiangxi travel guide next time. **Hygiene:** Clean, no overlooked corners found. **Environment:** Easy to get a taxi; this was the only place in Jiangxi where my taxi didn't get lost. There's a shopping mall 🏬 nearby, and you can see the river view just a short walk away, with an observation deck. It's very close to the subway station 🚇, though you need to walk down stairs. It's quiet 🤫 and not noisy. The small garden on the pool floor is nice, with statues, good for photos 📸. **Service:** Pretty good. The cleaning lady told us we could walk to see the river view, thank you 🙏. Service response after contact was swift and timely. They re-delivered my forgotten takeout, and there was robot 🤖 delivery for takeout plus manual water delivery. They also paid attention to my notes and decorated the room, which was lovely. My experience at Jiuzhaigou Yinse was good this year, which is why I chose Marriott. Marriott brands truly address notes promptly; I even encountered a conference, but the service remained excellent. Breakfast had clear guidance, and staff cleared plates. It's a service that matches its positioning, and Marriott brand service is generally consistent. I took very few photos 📸 during this trip, only three or four of the hotel 🏨, the rest were from Nanchang and Lushan (who speeds through Lushan in a day and returns to the hotel? My feet are ruined!)

There were cigarette butts left in the bathroom of the room and they were not cleaned up. The front desk helped to change the room. I asked if there were any equipment for children, and was told that there was no such service, only for adults. To park, you have to drive from the auxiliary road in front of the hotel to an underground parking lot in a residential area. It is difficult to find it without calling to ask. It feels like the city construction and design are full of bugs. Compared to the city, it is relatively close to the Haihunhou Museum, and the museum is still worth a visit.

I had a wonderful stay at Galactic Classic International Hotel in central Nanchang. The location is unbeatable, steps away from Bayi Square and many local food spots, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. My room was spacious, well‑furnished and spotlessly clean. Large windows brought in plenty of natural light, and the bed was incredibly comfortable for a good rest after long days out. All amenities worked perfectly, and housekeeping kept everything neat each day. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of both local specialties and international choices, fresh and flavourful. Every staff member I met was polite, attentive and quick to respond to requests. If you are visiting Nanchang, this hotel is a solid pick for comfort, service and prime downtown location. I would happily come back on my next trip.

For my weekend trip to Nanchang, I specifically looked for a hotel near Bayi Square. Parking was very convenient and free during my stay. The hotel is right next to Metro Line 4, so I'd recommend leaving your car at the hotel and using the subway to get to attractions – no need to worry about parking then. The room was quite spacious with a separated wet and dry area in the bathroom, plus a mini-fridge which was great for chilling drinks. I had dinner on the second floor of the hotel, and the 'Three-Cup Chicken' was absolutely delicious. They also offer thoughtful services for guests with children, like providing a baby bathtub and bed rails. Kids can even go to the front desk to unlock a small toy, which is a nice touch. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.
