"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. One of the things we appreciated the most was the free airport shuttle service for both arrival and departure, which made our travel very convenient and stress-free. We also enjoyed the food at their restaurant—it was very good. The only minor issue is that the pedestrian crossing is a bit far if you plan to walk around outside the hotel. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The room was old and not very clean. I smelled cigarette smoke in the initial room, and the receptionist agreed to switch to another room. The location was good, but overall it’s not worth the price."

GGuest UserDon't use the showerhead directly, or the bathroom will turn into a pond. The service really needs improvement. They'll overcharge you if you don't check your bill. I booked two rooms for three nights through Trip.com, but they kept saying they couldn't find my reservation. On the first day, they said they couldn't find the third day's booking. On the second day, they said they only found one room's reservation. Since I booked separately, I had to reactivate my key card every day. The power in the room would cut out and come back on automatically, and the curtains would open and close suddenly, which really scared me. The room cleaning time varied each day, and they'd often forget to replenish water or take a very long time. Plus, no one answered the phone.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is quite good. There's a 'Cat Bus' stop right outside, and it's not far from the Mint. You can also walk to the pier and the Swan Bells, which is perfect for exploring the city. The room was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk service was also great; they held our luggage and even emailed us when our room was ready after cleaning. Highly recommend!

WWYMCHENGSpent 3 nights at this hotel for a friends trip we were in a 3 bedroom villa. Lovely room, large with fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Housekeeping was done daily and to high standards. Would have liked more toiletries replenished on the second day, because of the sprawling estate calling for housekeeping takes a while for things to be delivered. Breakfast is plentiful lots of variety. Cooked to order eggs did take took long. Overall a lovely stay, special thanks to Adelaide for making our dinner special!

GGuest UserI am writing this to warn other travelers about a major security and privacy failure we experienced at Duxton Hotel WA.
Upon returning to our room at 8:55 PM, we were shocked to find our room door fully open and propped up with a wooden door wedge. Our room was located near the elevator, meaning our personal belongings and privacy were completely exposed to every passerby for nearly 5 hours (housekeeping finished at 4:30 PM).
The most disappointing part was the management's response. They admitted the mistake but refused a refund, justifying it by saying ”CCTV showed no one entered” and ”nothing was stolen.” This logic is absurd. Security is about prevention, not just reporting after a crime occurs. Whether or not someone entered is a matter of LUCK, but leaving the door open was a total failure of their ”Duty of Care.”
They offered a bottle of wine and breakfast, which we declined as it felt like a dismissive gesture for such a serious security issue. If you value your privacy and safety, think twice before staying here. A 5-star hotel should not have a 0-star security protocol.

In places, property is showing age but within reason.
Noise through floors/walls from other guests, even closing doors a floor above is very audible let alone TV/etc
Shower head needed descaling and was a bit erratic
Pros:
On beachfront, although our view was a bit obstructed.
Dining next door has always been excellent, great food.
Room was large, functional, and quite clean and pleasant.
Bed was comfortable, pillows pleasant and linen clean.
Check in and out was easy and simple.
Overall, I'd stay here again and plan to book a room again in December. Our 2 nights here were great, and watching the water from our table having dinner in the rain was fantastic. If you're expecting a 5-star resort, you'll be dissapointed. If you want a clean, large, comfortable room, in a good location and easy access to good food (recommend the fish and chip shop 5 mins away), and just a pleasant beach front stay? Book here.

Kkimi jerryI switched to a different hotel in Perth city center. The location is excellent, and parking is available in the car park across the street. You can get a ticket from the hotel, which costs AUD 30 per night on weekdays and a very reasonable AUD 10 per night on weekends.
The hotel is situated on a lively main street, with a large entrance and a high-ceilinged lobby. The facilities are new. There's a coffee shop on the ground floor where you can use member welcome drink vouchers – the coffee was good.
The room facilities are great, and the member benefits were well-delivered. As usual, I had one room booked through Ctrip and one as a member. Ctrip usually offers a slightly better price, while the member benefits are more comprehensive. It really depends on what you're looking for!

GGuest UserBeautiful building and the decor inside and the rooms are wonderful. A very expensive stay but one of those where it feels like it’s actually worth the money.
The breakfast is really nice selection and you can pick a few options from the a la carte menu and get barista coffee all included.
Bed was huge and comfy and bathroom was very opulent.

The accommodation is:
- immaculately well maintained;
- located in a vantage point shrouded in greenery and waters;
- nice and comfortable house that puts it on the pedestal in the same league;
- squeaky clean;
- very comfortable mattresses. You are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack;
- Hearth, the fine dining restaurant, offers one of the best food in Australia!
Simply one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in West Australia!

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at a Margaret River bed and breakfast in an amazing location—just few minutes from town and only a 7-minute drive to Surfers Point. As a couple, we truly appreciated the warm hospitality and thoughtful touches throughout our stay.
The homemade breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of fresh homemade breads along with organic jams and honey. We were welcomed with a lovely glass of wine and snacks, which made us feel instantly relaxed.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a heated electric bed that made our stay even more enjoyable. The jacuzzi with hot water was perfect.
The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations on the best places to visit in the area. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone visiting Margaret River.

There was adequate room for us to park our SUV, and the surrounding area was nicely covered in suitable plants.
While our chalet was adjacent to others, there was good privacy and sound isolation - we were never disturbed by any sounds of other people staying.
Being adjacent to the beach, there was a pleasant background sound of the waves breaking on the beach. Beach access was available nearby.
WiFi Internet access was included, and worked seamlessly. The chalet had a well-equiped kitchen, a full-sized fridge and good cooking facilities.
When it was time to checkout, this process was equally simple.
In summary, we enjoyed everything provided and found nothing lacking that we needed.
