My stay at Mercure Kyoto Miyazu Resort & Spa was incredible! The classic Japanese-style room was beautifully designed with tatami mats and a serene ambiance, offering a perfect blend of tradition and comfort. The ocean view from my room was breathtaking, and the onsen facilities were truly relaxing.
The staff were warm and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. The traditional Kyoto-style breakfast was a delightful highlight. I highly recommend this resort for a peaceful and luxurious getaway!
The hotel has a free shuttle to Amanohashidate station between 8 am to 9:30.
Location is 1.8km from station but directly sea view. If there is personal transport it will be great.
The bus from Amanohashidate station is 1 hour 1 bus, so it is a bit inconvenient. I didn't see a taxi.
When you arrive at the station, you should deposit your luggage at the locker (500Y / day with a locker) to go out: Viewland cable car, park, hot springs, boat terminal are all around the station.
The scenery is really amazing
The staff were kind and the facilities were good. I stayed here with breakfast included. The breakfast was delicious.
I recommend the soba noodles topped with grated yam and onsen*. And the navy curry was light and the meat was tender and delicious. Also, the music box in the lobby was lovely.
Very satisfied with Wenzhu Village!
Beautiful environment and great outdoor hot springs
After taking a dip, you can get up and rest on a lounge chair outside before continuing.
The room we stayed in this time was very spacious and there was enough space for the twins.
Let him add an extra set of beds in the Japanese room
My wife is pregnant and the baby is sleeping in a bed that is quite spacious so I can sleep next door.
TV can connect to mobile YouTube and Netflix
Great for showing videos to children
The meal was eaten at the restaurant next door. The portion was very sufficient.
Variety of meals and very good value for money
It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the pedestrian street and you can take a boat.
It takes about 5 minutes to get to Amanohashidate Rotating Bridge
It shouldn’t take ten minutes to walk to the cable car.
The location is very good
Very recommended hotel
It seems that this request did not arrive, so it was a single room! When I told them that I was staying with 3 people, they willingly changed the room to a larger one. Moreover, it was a very bright and good room with a jet bath. The view from the room was good and the children were very happy. I would definitely like to stay here again next time♪
The hotel stay was a wonderful experience. For the accommodation, the room size and the ambience was fair great. For the hot spring, it was very surprised by the environment. The place was large enough and you would feel no worry about the crowded people. Besides, the breakfast was also very nice f and recommend you should come to stay and give out a try!

We came here mainly for the private bath. We couldn't make reservations in advance, so we had to book after arriving at the hotel. It cost about 200 RMB for 45 minutes. The whole hotel is a bit old, but the service is very good and the rooms are very Japanese. They helped us move our luggage to the room. When we came back from the hot spring, we found that the bedding was also made, and they also put two hot water bottles in the quilt. The dinner and breakfast included in the package were very exquisite, but the taste was average. After checking out the next day, there was a shuttle bus to take us down the mountain. Overall, it was pretty good.
In my personal experience of two meals in one hotel, the dinner was the richest. Although it was crab-themed, each person had a whole crab, other fish, and a lot of pot dishes. In the end, we couldn't finish it all, so the enthusiastic shopkeeper helped us take out the crab meat that we couldn't eat and shape it into 8 rice balls to serve as snacks for the next day.
The hot springs are very good and the pool area is large. Both men's and women's hot springs have indoor and outdoor parts. It happens to be snowing in January, and there is nothing more wonderful in the world than soaking in the hot springs while enjoying the cold wind of Wakasa Bay.
Most of the tourists are locals, so it's a very authentic experience. Thank you to the store
