We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Beppu and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is absolutely ideal — centrally situated and within easy reach of popular attractions like Beppu Station, the hot spring districts, and local dining spots. Whether you’re exploring the “hells” of Beppu or heading to nearby onsens, everything is just a short drive or walk away.
The room was perfect for our group of three. It was spacious, well-designed, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The beds and futons were very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and quiet — great for resting after a long day of sightseeing. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels, slippers, and good quality toiletries.
One of the biggest highlights was the bathroom. Ours had a large window overlooking the city and surrounding hills — soaking in the tub while enjoying the view was a real treat and added a luxurious touch to the stay.
The hotel is by the sea side and has a beautiful sea view. The room is very spacious and with nice Japanese settings. It also has a hot spring facility in the room itself, very nice and great experience.
However TV only has Japanese channels, would be better if they have some international channels. Also they did not make the bed and clear rubbish on our first day of stay.

Make this the place to stay when you’re in Yufuin! We didn’t expect our room to be so spacious (think of it more as you private little house on the premises) and beautiful, and the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond for us and helped us with whatever question we had (and even helped us call tourist information centers). The staff member that served us our dinner was especially great! The food was equally amazing. The location is not far from the city although we recommend to come by car as it’s a bit of a walk from the station and up the hill. However even that walk would be worth it. Would definitely book again next time I plan on staying in this area!

I recently stayed at a hotel booked through Trip.com, and while the location, cleanliness, and facilities were quite nice, I had a very disappointing experience with the service provided by the hotel staff.
When I booked the hotel, the description on Trip.com (in Korean) clearly indicated that the room would have two beds and two floor beds. However, upon arrival, we found that the room only had two beds and one floor bed. When I brought this discrepancy to the attention of the hotel staff, they informed me that we would need to pay extra for an additional floor bed. They explained that the description in the itinerary merely indicated the maximum capacity of the room and that, since we had booked meals for only three people (breakfast and dinner), we could not receive an extra floor bed at no charge. I opted for the three-person meal plan because one of my family members is a five-year-old child who does not eat much, and I wanted to avoid unnecessary food waste.
I understand that interpretations of the itinerary may vary, but the attitude of the hotel staff was unacceptable. During my communication with them, I was put on hold for five minutes, only to be told that there was nothing they could do. After urging them to adhere to the terms of the itinerary, I was placed on hold again for ten minutes. Unfortunately, I had to hang up as it was time for dinner, and the hotel did not follow up with any response after I returned.
This experience significantly affected my family's mood, and what was supposed to be a pleasant stay turned into a frustrating ordeal. I hope that Trip.com can address this issue to prevent future guests from having similar experiences.

Thanks to the ryokan staff for an unforgettable experience and vacation. The room is very clean, well-kept, beautiful, the yukatas are very soft, beautiful, smell nice. The bathroom products are a complete delight. It is very comfortable and pleasant to sleep on futons, the pillows and blankets are magical! The kaiseki dinner and breakfast are top notch! The onsens are gorgeous! The ryokan is very well-kept, beautiful, you can feel the love and attention to detail in everything! The staff is wonderful, attentive, caring! I recommend it to everyone, 10 out of 10!
Stylist hotel, spacious room and very good view to see the scene of Beppu. Staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good and yummy. Wish will be equipped with a gym room.
I stayed here while looking for a quiet place for a family trip.
It was a pleasant break in a quiet village as a family of four.
The riverside and park right in front were nice to walk around, and I felt that the service provided from the 1st to 3rd floors was friendly to the guests staying there.
I was grateful that the staff accepted me kindly even when I tried to communicate in broken Japanese.
The breakfast was delicious and filling. The bath was nice, and the view from the room was nice too.
Since our stay did not include dinner, we crossed the Mikuma River and went to Fresh Mart Tachibana. We had to cross three small bridges to cross the river, and I think it is a good course for walking. It was a pleasure to take a leisurely stroll on a bridge built a long time ago with low railings. The Mart offers a variety of products, including lunch boxes, side dishes, and alcohol, so it would be a good idea to stop by if you need snacks or a simple meal to enjoy within the accommodation.
I stayed at the hotel with a plan that included meals. The semi-private room gave me a sense of privacy, and the food was delicious and I was very satisfied, but I would have been more satisfied if they had provided a little more service, such as drinks and food that I couldn't eat. The rooms were spacious and had a free-flowing hot spring, which left my skin feeling smooth and allowed me to relax in nature.

The room is large, has a massage chair, a heating pad on the floor, a private hot spring, and the beautiful outdoor mountains and lakes.
Guests can reserve a shuttle bus with the hotel, which is very convenient. For one stay and two meals, the staff is friendly and explains the ingredients carefully.
Most of the staff are polite, but there is one middle-aged male staff member (check in counter staff) who can speak Mandarin who is not helpful. I saw that the hotel had different styles of children's bathrobes for purchase, but not every piece had a price tag on it. When I asked the male staff about the price, he said perfunctorily that the price was on the clothes.

GGuest UserThe staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel overall was very cozy, particularly the onsens. Although all the four onsens were opened for all guests at the hotel, you can use one of them as long as you want because guests are instructed to hang a sign on the onsen to show that it is currently occupied. This is a great way for the guests to enjoy privacy to themselves, although it is opened publicly. Dinner and breakfast was included in the package so we did not have to worry about finding nearby restaurants. The food was delicious here! Would definitely recommend if you enjoy traditional Japanese meals to get the full experience. We had a private barbecue for dinner, and it was truly immaculate! However, there was smoke all over the hotel lobby coming from the barbecue so it would have been better if they kept the windows opened. It was also indoors so it was slightly overwhelming with all the smoke everywhere in the restaurant. But everything else was on point and breakfast was particularly delicious.
Ccheuk yinThe hotel environment is good, there is a 24-hour supermarket nearby, suitable for self-drive tours, the hotel has a Hong Kong brother, attentive service, and happy to help solve the problem, and he also recommends many attractions😍
GGuest UserIt was really, really good. It was the best of my trip to Japan. The hot spring water was so soft and slippery that I felt like it was improving my skin. Above all, the location and atmosphere are great... We just walked up to see Yufuin, and it was a walkable distance. The owner was friendly and the meal was very delicious. You are so good!! It’s flawless and I highly recommend it~~!
戴戴The beautiful environment, the eye-catching is the gorgeous red maple. The service is nothing to say, the package dinner is served in the villa, before confirming whether there are taboos or food allergies, different dishes every day, you can also ask for 5A beef hot pot (additional money is required). The breakfast is served in a large restaurant, and it is also a private room. The decoration is very Zen-like. The taste is even better, and the style is too much to eat. The room is a two-storey villa, each with a different but private soup, a great hotel!
