Hotels With Swimming Pools in Meemu Atoll, Maldives

We found this resort really outstanding incl Room, surrounding, pool and of-course the overall service. Everything seems out of world. Check-in handling by Sameer and the night DJ by Bunty finished just now was excellent

Fantastic holiday, total relaxation. We stayed in the platinum island and it did not disappoint. Staff very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Big shout out to Nandana and Menaka who worked in the bar and looked after us exceptionally well, also Hannan in the dining room and Mauroof who serviced our room every day, they all were amazing. Chefs worked really hard and very friendly as were most staff. The trips were very well organised and the cocktail sunset trip was beautiful. Did not see this advertised in the office only saw this advertised on the tv in our room. Negatives Having to wait 5 hours for the seaplane to take us to the resort was very frustrating and no-one wanted to take responsibility for this. Relaxing on a sunbed and being approached by a staff member if we wanted to go the the Valentines BBQ at $100 per person and we would have to pay for the wine, cheapest bottle was $50!!! Wasn’t expecting that when we are all inclusive. Upgrading to premium to get more branded drinks included was not worth it and way overpriced $$$$$$ We went over to use the other restaurant one lunchtime and the staff didn’t make us feel welcome and asked us to move tables twice even when they seated us there!! The spa tried selling us a package which the price started at $699 and when not interested the price started to come down. Would like to of had more entertainment in the platinum island, only had a DJ in twice and music stopped at 10.30, live music was over in the other bar as was most of the entertainment. Overall a relaxing holiday and definitely would return.
