I noticed that many reviews mention the hotel not living up to a five-star standard. However, no one seems to complain that the price doesn’t match a five-star level either. In my opinion, this is an excellent hotel for the price.
The property is spacious, the rooms are fresh and cleaned daily, and amenities like slippers and bathrobes are provided. The staff is welcoming, and the breakfast offers a great variety. From 4 to 5 PM, there’s a complimentary tea and pastries service, which is a lovely touch. The beach is beautiful, with plenty of loungers equipped with soft cushions.
This is definitely a place I would consider returning to.

Amazing staff and truly exceptional service. Both G. and M. were always present, attentive, and genuinely supportive throughout our stay. They helped with meals and were always available whenever we needed assistance. Their hospitality made a real difference, and we are truly grateful to have met them and spent a few days in what feels like a hidden paradise.
The location is beautiful—a peaceful beachfront property in a quiet, uncrowded area with plenty to do nearby. It’s about a 45-minute drive from Diani Airport, so having a car is highly recommended. Make sure to follow the Tiwi Beach exit rather than relying on the GPS coordinates to reach the property. It is also advisable to buy supplies, including drinking water, before arriving at the facility.
The penthouse itself has incredible potential and offers stunning views, but unfortunately it is not well maintained and still requires significant work. Basic structural improvements are needed, including proper ceiling finishing, fencing, and treatment of the wooden furniture due to visible infestation.
Another issue is that there are many open gaps and spaces around the penthouse structure, which allow insects and even cats to enter the room. This significantly affects comfort and hygiene and should be addressed with proper sealing and screening.
Overall, the staff and location are fantastic, but the penthouse urgently needs proper maintenance and finishing to match the beauty of the setting.

Igor_S_SI recently stayed at Leopard Beach Resort and Spa and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is absolutely perfect — right on a beautiful beach, offering stunning views and easy access to the water. The resort has many outlets with a nice variety of food, and the staff throughout were very attentive and welcoming.
However, the quality of the room could use improvement. There was some noticeable mold on the walls, and the bathroom is definitely in need of refreshing and renovation.
I also encountered some issues with the restaurant department, which initially left a negative impression. Fortunately, after discussing the situation with the management team, some of the concerns were addressed. I appreciate their responsiveness and hope this feedback will support the resort’s ongoing development and improvements.

After the Safari, I took a train from Amboseli to Mombasa, and then took an Uber to Diani. Swahili can be said to be one of the best hotels in this area. It is mainly a private beach with 24-hour security patrols and is relatively quiet. Other hotels basically do not have private beaches, and there are not many beach chairs near the sea on the beach. This hotel has all of them. There are also restaurants and bars on the beach. The hotel has many activities, delicious breakfast, and large rooms. It is very suitable for comfortable rest after a tiring Safari. The hotel staff are also very hardworking and serious. They will clean the seaweed on the beach early in the morning. The hotel also has corresponding beach walking and sea activities. Strong security, there is a Carrefour within walking distance at the door, which is very good. Not far away, you can take an Uber to the famous Alibaba Cave Restaurant. It is a very good resting place, suitable for a person to rest comfortably. I will come again if I have the chance.

Paradise on the Kenyan coast
- clean modern rooms with coastal vibe
- unusual pool
- abundant breakfast
- many options to dine (including beach set up, fine dining, tepanyaki)
- safe and clean beach access + beds on the premises facing the beach which protects from annoying beach boys and is safe
- availability to arrange boat trips, snorkelling and other activities- very helpful and efficient
- loved other activities offered (kayaking, surf etc)
- finally just a perfect beach spot in diani
worth the money you pay - you feel extra every moment, highly recommend

I have been here a few times; I like the place very much. But this time it was a bit of a disappointment. They are refurbishing the reception and the big bar. So, it´s drilling and banging for breakfast, lunch dinner…. The animation team can be better, they cancel a lot. The WIFI is terrible. Definitely space for some improvement right now. I hope they are back to normal standards at the end of the year.

I don't know why no one mentioned the simpleness of the spare parts at all. For example, there are no disposable slippers. The water is also a thermos pot with no disposable bottled drinking water. If the bath water becomes cold at night after 12 o'clock, it takes more than ten minutes to release water. Hot water. I don't know if the entire Mombasa hotel water filtration system is a shit, the water is super invincible salty, and it is no different from drinking directly from the sea. Even the waiter said that it is best to use pure water for brushing teeth.
Because the price is all inclusive, the hotel is basically a lot of Europeans and Americans. We stayed for two days and a Chinese did not see it. The food was similar to other hotels. In fact, it is not recommended to have this kind of package in Mombasa, because the restaurant outside can eat seafood. It is better to eat. The only advantage is that drinks are free, even cocktails are free, so many Europeans and Americans like to drink there. There are also performances in the evening.
