Hotels With Swimming Pools in West Greece, Greece

The hotel was right across from the marina so in a great location to walk to most of the sites around town. There's several good restaurants close by. The hotel common area was very nice, the staff was wonderful. The pool was very welcome on a couple hot afternoons we were there. There's a rooftop bar for hanging out for drinks at night, not open until the evening though. The hotel restaurant did a nice job with lunches, the buffet breakfast was just OK for me. The rooms were a bit quirky, they were clean but functionality wasn't great. Limited places to hang anything wet, trash can almost impossible to use gracefully, tissue were about the same roughness as our paper towels, shower head a total disaster (made it work but a very poor design), plug for bathroom outside the bathroom which is inconvenient (but I think a Greek code).

My review is based on the alleged 4* of the hotel. In my very personal opinion: Positives :-) _The hotel location with the view of the sea, the bridge of Rio-Antirio and the spectacular sunset · The staff at the dining room. Although they seemed disorganised and most of them untrained, they were really kind and helpful. Separate reference should be made to the lady in the reception as she was a gem. Professional, kind, resourceful, always with a smile. The playground for little children is new and in great condition. Negatives :-( *Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel * Definitely in need of radical renovations. * Not clean, certainly not to a 4 star hotel standards. The glass doors in the room were not cleaned, the mirror in the bathroom too and when the staff came to fix the extra bed and had to move the other beds we saw that the floor (plastic carpet) hasn’t been swept thoroughly most probably in years. The curtains in the dining room were also dirty. * The pool bar and surrounding area is a mess. The furniture are so used up that their colour has been altered completely. You can see garbage and debris at the corners of the hotel. The lawn is in a really bad condition. * The pool is cleaned daily but it's only open between 11:00-19:00. I am guessing this is the lifeguard's working hours.... While we were there, one of the lifeguards was never near the pool but in the pool bar browsing through their phone and nobody seemed to care. * The quality of the food is average, at best. A lot of low quality staff like jams, cakes etc *The corridors in the room floors need immediate paint refresher.

The hotel is bright and airy and the rooms are comfortable, spacious with a really nice bathroom. This, however, is not what merits special attention We booked the Filoxenia for three nights for our visit to Kalavryta. However, it proved to be an eventful stay in more ways than one. On our first evening there, we visited the Holocaust Memorial and at some point, I received a bite on my leg. On the afternoon on the second day, I started to feel unwell. At first, I believed it might be Covid but it was not. I ended up in the local hospital with a bacterial infection on my leg and had to have intravenous antibiotics. During this time, the hotel and the staff were magnificent. They kept the room open for my wife and looked after her. They made up breakfasts for me in the hospital. They even sent me boxes of cakes and biscuits. I cannot praise them highly enough. To be taken ill in a foreign country is a daunting prospect but to have that level of service was so heartening. They even volunteered to come to the hospital and translate for us So, if you are looking to stay in Kalavryta, this hotel offers everything you want and more. We will never forget the kindness and service we received ❤️

This is a reasonable 4 star hotel. Our room was an OK size with a couple of stairs going down to a small sitting area and the balcony. Unfortunately once we put a suitcase on the luggage rack at the bottom of the bed it made it a bit tight walking around the bed. The room had a view overlooking the swimming pool. There was a small pull-out clothes line on the balcony which we really appreciated. The bathroom was a reasonable size although there was a bath with a shower over it rather than a walk in shower. The hotel is up a hill and the distance to the town is not very far. However, it is a very steep hill. We walked down very carefully and caught a taxi back which only costs us 5€. There is free parking at the hotel. There was quite a range of food available for breakfast. On the second morning of our stay there was someone cooking omelettes to order which was great. On check-out the receptionist told us there was a charge for mini-bar items we had consumed. We told her that we had not consumed anything. She quickly said “sorry, my mistake”. She did not check anything and we were left with the feeling that this had been a “try on”. Regardless, it would seem that this is something that the receptionist should check before advising customers of an additional charge because last impressions count. Without this incident I would have rated the hotel as very good rather than average.

Going late in the morning and rushing overnight, there is not much impression. There was no electric kettle in the room, and the uncle in the lobby bar enthusiastically used the coffee machine to fill me with several pots. The hotel is a bit old, and the air conditioner is a radiator-like device placed next to a desk near the desk.

A decent staff all very nice and sweet ! ! Nice room with nice design ! ! and in the city center Hot and clean room with a nice comfortable lace ! ! And the lady cleaning staff was very kind and asked if we needed something and she came right away ! ! ! I wish it had breakfast but they make very nice coffee and bring you in the room ! ! Greetings from Ethiopia We have stayed in a hotel for the first two days and shifted to Harmoney self catering apartment. Me and my wife's decision to change from hotel was right since we found a place like Harmoney, which feels like a second home. The smile, big heart ❤ of harmoney staffs and the family adds positive energy to our stay. The cooperation was beyond our expectation, starting from picking us from our previous hotel, showing us around and taking us to half day trip was incredible. Seychelles is lucky to have such lovely individual like Mr Niko who does his job with passion. After all life is short and we need to take care each other. He has been explaining to us the culture, livelihood and many essential items of the lovely country. His love ❤ for nature was contagious and we learn a lot, two bird in one stone. The room is clean, with big living room + kitchen, bed room, shower, spacious verenda and terrace facing the beauty of the sea. The proximity of the place to the beach, restaurants, shops, open market etc makes it the best. I recommend any one who desires to stay with comfort, once in a while to taste the product of the garden but most of all to have peace of mind Harmony I the right place. My fiancé and I had a perfect stay at My Way for Apokries (Mardi Gras)! The hotel is a perfect spot and very walkable to the main parts of the city. It is close enough to walk everywhere but far enough away that you can sleep at night without all the party outside. Its location has a gorgeous view of the sea while enjoying morning breakfast on the rooftop! The parking lot next door is CLUTH! We left the car and didn’t have to worry about it until we left. Rooms are very spacious and the staff is helpful and kind! We definitely will be back and fully plan on staying again!

This is a fantastic hotel on the pedestrian street in Patras. It is affiliated with the Byzantinos Hotel, which is more modern, but the Paleologos is built in an old building with an enormous staircase, high ceilings and the rooms have an antique feel to them. The breakfast is superb and the food/nightlife outside is quite awesome. We stayed over Carnival and had a blast. Worth every penny.
