Adulo Apartments

Just got back from a cruise from Barbados around Southern Caribbean but stayed at the Adula for a couple of days beforehand. I thought it was a lovely little hotel very clean and staff really helpful. Not to mention Shakers Restaurant like 5 minutes walk away. The food at Shakers was really nice and the Long Island Ice Teas even better. My friend and I shared a quaint self catering Bungalow which had a lovely kitchenette and shower room. The pool was small but very clean and well maintained I can't recommend this hotel enough and I am a very fussy costumer, I have high standards and expect a good service when I pay for it, well done Adula you made my stay very nice. On a final note there are also some great lounge bars also 10 minutes walk away on the strip at the end of the road definitely worth a visit also.

The beach is amazing, the location of the hotel is amazing, the beach is right out of the hotel lobby The facilities are a bit outdated, but there's nothing we can do about it, the hotel is too old. There is also the laid-back style of Barbadian people, so don’t be impatient and wait slowly when you ask for something. During my five-day stay, a water pipe burst. I was covered in sweat and couldn't take a shower. This is a bit specific. Others are very satisfied Breakfast was pretty good

Good location close to Savy Beach, not too far from Bridgetown and other destinations. Beach on resort is not usable as a lot of seaweed 24/7. Breakfast decently priced for buffet but need more options for food. Maybe a waffle maker and non pork meat options. Gym on site was really good with functional equipment. Rooms dated but clean. Shower good water pressure. The Grill has good food options and enjoyed watching cricket there. Lastly improve on menu for kids. The pizza was terrible and needs to be improved.

I'm not sure why this hotel gets such terrible reviews. We thought it was brilliant! The staff were always friendly towards us. The room was clean and tidy (and cleaned daily during our stay) with plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. The shower was hot and powerful at all times and the bathroom had toiletries and a hairdryer. Our room was in a quiet block within the hotel complex and we rarely heard a sound from other rooms. The pool looked lovely although we didn't swim in it because they had sun beds up on a raised part of the the pool which overlooked a stunning beach and the sea. There's a little cut-through to the beach at the end of the pool area and there was always plenty of beds available around the pool. The bar was great - they had some good snacks available and twice daily happy hour for drinks. And the hotel was close to a number of bars and restaurants and about a 20 minute walk to the Gap. My only small issue was that the hotel charged for the use of the room safe. It was only 3 Barbados dollars per day, but still I don't think guests should have to pay for a safe in this day and age. We stayed for seven nights at The Dover Beach Hotel and won't hesitate to stay again when we return to Barbados in the future. Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

My recent trip to Barbados was elevated by my stay at Courtyard Marriott. The professionalism of the staff, coupled with clean and comfortable rooms, made for an unforgettable experience. The attentive restaurant staff added to the charm, and the hotel's convenient location provided easy access to transportation. A special congratulations to the General Manager for maintaining such high standards of hospitality. Courtyard Marriott exceeded my expectations in every aspect. #BarbadosTravel #CourtyardMarriott #HospitalityExcellence #TravelExperience

Excellent mid size family run hotel. It's the 1st time we have stayed here for a Staycation and we were not disappointed. Everything is very clean and the staff were excellent. The room in the main building is large, massive bed with a settee, kitchenette with a toaster, kettle fridge, and microwave. The shower is large, and the towels are nice and fluffy. The view from the balcony was great looking out over the pool area and beach. There is a lot of sand on the beach with trees for shade if required. We went All Inclusive because we were staying for 3 days and just wanted to relax. Food and drinks were great. No idea what the annex is like, we wouldn't stay there as it is over the main road. Walking g distance is Jakes bar and restaurant directly opposite the hotel entrance. Turn right out of the entrance and 100 mtrs up across the road is Buzo an excellent Italian restaurant that also has a good range of cocktails and wines. All in all an excellent break from work, and we will definitely be back.
