"Reservamos 2 habitaciones , una para cada uno de nosotros con un niño cada uno. La chica de la recepción vio que nos las habían puesto separadas y aún estando el hotel lleno nos las puso juntas para nuestra comodidad. El hotel se nota viejito pero está muy limpio, las camas muy cómodas, la piscina estupenda. Fuera había música no sabemos de qué y fue entrar dentro del hotel y no se oía absolutamente nada. Estancia muy buena, sin duda lo recomiendo"
SSharonFirstly this hotel is fabulous because of its location on a hill. Potentially you would need transport if you intend on going into Segovia (taxis are few and far between) Segovia centre is definitely worth a trip. The views from the hotel are breathtaking day and night. We walked into Segovia centre it takes about 50 miles and it's about 3.5 miles one way. The Staff are extremely friendly and some speak very good English. It's a hidden gem. The Pool area is well maintained with a life guard. Sun loungers and static parasols readily available. We were on a half board basis and I truly recommend it. The breakfast had ample choice and cooked was available at an additional charge. Even dinner was exceptional I can highly recommend the salmon the hake and the tuna salad as well as the chocolate pud. I didn't find the local spirits / drinks or wine and beer overly expensive. We stayed for 2 nights but I could easily have stayed a few days longer to totally relax. The Weather was extremely hot during our stay 33 degrees and we had the most wonderful downpour of rain whilst sipping wine on the terrace of which there are a few but not all open because it's early in the season. My only issue was dinner at 9pm for us it was a little late. Remember to reserve a table as the check-in desk doesn't seem to tell guests who are checking in. However you could have bought lunch from 1.30pm cafe/bar area or paid for a reservation at the restaurant. The Pool area provide towels but you must have the (towel card) with you to collect these from the pool attendant the card is provided by hotel reception.
GGuest UserThe castle is very good, a rare experience, very cost-effective, not far from Salamanca, highly recommended!
The kids have to add 25 euros, but the kids love it.
Please choose a high-level room type, the cheapest room is downstairs in the periphery, we upgraded to the courtyard upstairs, the room is too much better.
Dinner is also remarkable, the children's menu is special, Santella is delicious, not afraid of not eating delicious here.
The front desk lady helped us too much, and the other service staff were also very good.
RRaquelVery welcoming staff, bedroom was clean and sofa bed was prepared for my son to sleep in. Good location with easy access by car and parking was available.
LLynnette DawnThere is plenty of car parking spaces on the hotel grounds. The staff were friendly, helpful and could speak very good English which was very used as we do not speak Spanish! The hotel is a beautiful old building which had been modernised with consideration. Our room was extremely clean with a comfortable bed. The shower was adequate for our one night stay. The TV only had a news channel availing English, and the TV was an older style so we could not plug in any additional technology. We ate dinner in the restaurant as it would have been too long a walk in the rain. The food was reasonable and the house wine was very good. The cost of the meal though was very over priced. I would stay here again but maybe not have a meal in the restaurant due only to the price. The restaurant staff were lovely.
Rramon-sanGreat location, good parking, and in general good facilities. Only downside was cleanliness, but I am very particular about that. Found a hair in the bathroom and there was a weird smell sometimes.

GGuest UserTodo bien. Silencioso y tranquilo. Parking gratis delante de la puerta. Desayuno bueno. Nos dejaron salir n poco más tarde de las 12. Lo único el exceso de calor y el aire no funcionaba porque era abril y tenían el modo calefacción.
GGuest UserExcellent value for money. Located on the outskirts of Salamanca, in Santa Marta de Tormes, about 10 minutes' drive from the university campus, and about 8 kilometers of urban roads. This is a fairly large hotel complex; there is also a campsite with the same property in the complex, and they share some services, such as tennis courts, gardens and swimming pools. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. There is no parking problem. Good price.
GGuest UserI booked this hotel for a stopover during a road trip, planning to arrive at the hotel—myself, my 7 and 13-year-old children, and I—take a dip in the pool, and then go out for dinner in town. We arrived and the pool was closed. The explanation they gave us was that there had been an unforeseen problem, without any further explanation or guarantee that it would be open the next morning. The next morning it was open, so we decided to go there to relax a bit before continuing our trip. However, our moment of relaxation turned into a moment of suffering because the air was unbreathable, causing irritation to our eyes and nose, probably due to the treatment they applied. I find the way this 4-star hotel handled this situation unacceptable. We paid for a service that we didn't receive (the pool) or that was in terrible condition, and the hotel showed no care or attention to its guests.
