The hotel is located next to the train station. It takes about 30 minutes to take the train to the center NZD6, which has eight stations in total. The environment near the hotel is quiet and parking is available for NZD 15 per day. Overall, it's OK. The disadvantage is that the sound insulation is poor. The sound of footsteps upstairs is very clear, especially in the morning, which will affect the quality of sleep.

The only regret is that after using the hotel towels on the first night, I found an unknown red stain on the towels, which made me uncomfortable for a while.

The hotel facilities are too old, but the rooms are big enough. The location of the hotel is very good, just at the seaside of Half Moon Bay, a few steps away from the door to see the pier full of private yachts. Supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby, and the walking distance is only 20-30 meters.

I booked a car hotel because I rented a car. Free parking is very convenient. I also like that it has two beds, one double and one single, suitable for families. The motel is not big and there are not many rooms. It has 2 floors, and it feels a bit noisy at night on the roadside. Others are good! The hotel is managed by the Chinese staff of the Chinese owner. Very satisfactory!

The experience was mostly good... staff were quite helpful except for 1 thing.... (see below); place was well located, clean.. ambient temperature was good even though there was only 1 a/c unit.. maybe be different in high summer.. encountered 2 issues:- 1) The door to balance is left opened.... hotel would not provide a key to lock it... as no key is given out... the lock may be incorporated in the door handle when lifted.. appeared this particular door may not be installed properly.. 2) Very strange - The receptionist refused to reserved a parking space for me for some reason... (under 3 separately occassion, day after check-in, day before needing to use and the actual morning of the day of use).. and when i drove the rental car to the hotel.. it was full as apparently; i did not book....

Have asked to changed to the other room. The room was nice as the one on first day. Great experience xx
