I absolutely love this hotel! I recently traveled with my kids to Tianjin for a week and stayed in six hotels, all priced over 700 yuan. We chose this one on our last day. It was the cheapest, but the experience was the best. This is the first time I've decided to prioritize their chain hotels in various cities for future trips.
It's located in the old city, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. It's a short walk to the Jinwan Wharf to enjoy the Haihe River's nightscape and take a boat tour. The hotel's service impressed me with the meticulous care and consideration of the management. The hotel's retro decor exudes a romantic atmosphere, and this is the first hotel I've ever been so confident in, with the cleanliness of the room fixtures, bedding, and towels.
The attentive service was amazing đ See the âExclusive Room Serviceâ in the picture below.
The front desk freezer had free ice cream popsicles for the kids, and they even offered porridge for a late-night snack after 10 p.m....
Very satisfied stay. The room layout is very warm, the decoration is very new, and it feels like home when you open the door. I used to bring low-child babies to dig sand to stay in hotels. The price is twice that of this apartment and the area is still very small. This time, the one-bedroom and one-living room can give the baby space to play. The location of the apartment is more than 20 minutes drive from Dongjiang, there is K11 nearby, not far from Wanda, it is very convenient to eat. The breakfast variety is OK, it would be better if there are pancakes, hahaha. Plan to bring the elderly to live again in summer~
A suggestion: It is recommended that the signs of the restaurant, swimming pool, indoor children's playroom, etc. be obvious. I live in Building 7. The first time I went to Building 6 for breakfast, I walked around the building and didn't find the entrance. ....
Facilities: quite complete, the space is a little small, but the arrangement is reasonable
Sanitation: very clean and tidy
Environment: quite suitable, the parking lot is very large, you can park anywhere without charge, which is great
Service: OK

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel.
From the moment you arrive, thereâs a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere â everything feels calm, thoughtfully arranged, and comfortable.
The service is excellent: staff are polite, attentive, and always ready to help â from the front desk to the restaurant. A particularly nice touch was being greeted with welcome drinks upon arrival, which immediately set a positive tone for our stay.
The rooms are very clean and spacious, with large windows that let in lots of natural light and offer great views of the city.
The hotel features a modern and elegant design, and itâs clear that the property is well-maintained â everything feels fresh and in great condition, with no signs of neglect or aging.
Highly recommended for those who value quality, comfort, and professional service.

Stayed here for one night as a birthday gift for my partner.
First things first, this is a luxury hotel & it packs a decent luxury punch for it's price, around 1200rmb per night.
Even before you arrive, you're met by the eye catching building on your walk from Tianjin railway station - around 15 to 20 minutes. That it features on various silhouettes of the Tianjin skyline on posters and advertisements throughout the city is testament to how highly thought of the building is in the city. Perhaps not the most important factor, but it does add to the excitement if you're not a regular luxury hotel booker.
The lobby can be entered from the main road or riverfront & is spacious & well designed, opulent yet modern and even somewhat cozy of an evening. Unfortunately, upon check in there were no rooms available however, & we had to wait. Not ideal.
Once the room *was* available, we were walked there by our incredibly friendly butler who returned shortly afterwards with some excellent coffee & biscuits that were some of the best I've eaten in China.
The room is spacious, with huge windows offering an unbeatable view of the river, which lights up at night as the buildings reflect from it's surface. The bed is comfortable, and bathroom clean, but the temperature was stifilingly hot. Perhaps there was a way to control this & it was user error on our part, but in such a luxury hotel with everything planned to apparent perfection, I'd have assumed they would have made this quite simple. It was 10c outside, which doesn't require the heating turned up so high that it makes you sweat. But nor is it so hot that one should have to turn on the A/C in mid February.
The room comes stocked with everything you would need & more. Plenty of water, tea, coffee, & 24h contact with a butler. What it lacked was towels. Again, maybe there were some more hidden, but I shouldn't have to search. & I'm sure the butler would have brought some more had I asked, but I shouldn't need to for over 1000rmb per night. This hasn't been an issue in far cheaper hotels.
I did like that the bathroom toiletries were eco friendly, even down to the toothpaste 'tube'. I worried at the time that the toothpaste in a sachet was too small & would dry up overnight, but this didn't end up being the case. The shower itself was just fine, but a little disappointing for a pricey hotel. It seemed to lack a bit of pressure, & I've had far better in hotels at far more than half the price.
The only other issue I'd take is the cleanliness of the windows and frames. They're the highlight of the room & should be celebrated, so it's a little disappointing that they show some dirt and staines. Again, in a cheaper hotel I'd barely notice this, but a 1000rmb+ one must be held to a higher standard.
One thing I have absolutely no complaints about is the food. The breakfast offering had a great blend of Chinese & Western food, and plenty of it. Staff, as was the case throughout the stay, were friendly & beyond helpful & we both left very full only wishing we could try even more. Lovely view across the frozen river as we ate, too. A really nice way to start the day & a great way to leave a lasting memory as we checked out.
All in all, it really was a wonderful stay, and I'm only being sometimes critical because I hold expensive hotels to a high standard & I know that this hotel in particular *can* reach that standard. I've given cleanliness a 5 because Trip doesn't offer half stars & 4 brought the overall rating down lower than I think seems fair, given I did genuinely have a very nice time.
With a few little improvements this would easily be a 5/5 across the board.
This is a warm B&B! The boss sister is very friendly, and every service staff at the B&B has a sincere smile. The sanitation is so good that even my mysophobic mother can't fault it. The breakfast is extremely rich, especially the pancakes, which are so delicious that you may not be able to eat them if you are lazy. When you come back in the evening, you can ask for a cup of coffee and chat with your boss and friends. The happy day ends with laughter. Next to the B&B is the Discovery Park, which is very suitable for children to play and play animals in one stop. The culture of Stone Village and immersing yourself in the fireworks during a leisurely walk make up an unforgettable journey!
I came to Jixian County to play, and booked such a room in advance. Seeing that it was a parent-child room, I felt that it seemed to be okay. I checked the reviews and it was okay.
The room price of more than 800 yuan includes breakfast, which I think is okay. There are 9 rooms in the 51st period, so the price should be more than twice the usual price.
I came here directly after booking in advance.
Anyway, the facilities are a little old, the bed is a 1.4-meter bed, a little soft, and the pillow is average. Its facilities are still a little average, and it is a relatively old hotel style.
The room is quite large, and it is still okay to stay here for fun.

I have been there twice so far both with family and myself. Absolutely a great place to stay. Amazing front desk staff friendly and helpful, give them a big thumb upđ. Thereâs a gym with enough equipment you need. In the building there are restaurants and a coffee shop. Location is fine. The first time our family 4 person were there in a three bedroom apartment on 18th floor. The cleaning service staff was very nice and did a great job. The second time I was by myself stayed in a one bedroom apartment on 4th floor with different cleaning staff. There job was just ok and definitely more room need to improve.
The room was not cleaned carefully. The parent-child room with bunk beds was booked. There was garbage from the previous guests on the light strip of the upper bunk. The elevator is small and not smart. You can't get on the elevator during the peak hours of eating, checking in and checking out. During the Spring Festival, the hotel breakfast was not prepared enough. There was basically no meal around 9 o'clock. Moreover, you left the room at 9 o'clock. Because of the elevator, you could not enter the restaurant until almost 10 o'clock. The waiter started to inform you that they would close at 10 o'clock. It is recommended to extend the holiday breakfast to 10:30. When checking out, many people had already complained about the breakfast problem. As a parent-child hotel, the room is large and suitable for staying with big children.

We booked the deluxe family suite. It was a very comfy suite with 2 Queen beds in a separate room. We could watch TV at night without disturbing our child sleeping. We wanted to extend our stay in Novotel, front desk lady ćąćĄćŹŁ was very helpful and patience to guide me to join as a member so I could save more. č°˘č°˘ä˝ !
Service is good. We will stay here again if we stop by Tianjin again.

DDr. Oscar## Review of Homestay in Tianjin / 夊洼ć°ĺŽżčŻäťˇ
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful homestay in the ć¨ćłé area of Tianjin, and I can't recommend it highly enough. As a stressed entrepreneur and doctor traveling from Shanghai, this trip was a much-needed break for me, and the homestay exceeded all my expectations.

The design of the homestay is very traditional, showcasing beautiful elements of Chinese architecture. For foreigners wanting to experience authentic Chinese design and culture, this is a fantastic place to stay. Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, from the cozy furnishings to the tasteful decor. It felt like a home away from home, which is exactly what you need when you're looking to unwind.

VVinnncMy recent stay at Four Seasons Tianjin was nothing short of exceptional. What truly sets this property apart is the remarkable staff who consistently went above and beyond to create a memorable experience.
Even before arrival, Duty Manager Qiqi was preparing for my stay despite being on leave. Learning it was my first visit to Tianjin, she thoughtfully arranged a stunning room with panoramic skyline views that made for a perfect introduction to the city.
The moment I arrived at the driveway, David from concierge greeted me personally. His Golden Key designation was evident in his impeccable professionalism and knowledge throughout my stay.
Check-in with Olivia at the front desk was seamless. She had clearly familiarized herself with my preferences beforehand, making the process efficient while still providing a warm, personalized welcome and comprehensive overview of the property's facilities.
Though working behind the scenes, Communications Coco and her team functioned like personal butlers, anticipating needs wherever I went. When I needed a garment bag for my suit to simplify air travel, a simple text through their live chat service was all it took - Coco went the extra mile to ensure it was delivered promptly.
Breakfast service was where Alice truly shined. After noticing me select a passion fruit, she immediately appeared with a spoon without being asked and offered to prepare fresh-squeezed juice to complement my meal. This level of attentiveness and personalization defines the Four Seasons experience.
While I never encountered the housekeeping team directly, their impeccable work spoke volumes. The turndown service particularly impressed me - the consistently prepared ice in the room during evening turndown demonstrated the brand's commitment to maintaining standards across all properties.
What's remarkable is how each staff member made such an impression that I've remembered their names - a rarity in my hotel experiences. Every team member embodied the golden rule of treating others as they would wish to be treated themselves.
I'm genuinely grateful for the exceptional care and will absolutely return when next in Tianjin. This property represents the Four Seasons brand at its finest.

CChan Ming TongI booked 3 rooms in Jun, 2023. The hotel is only 4 months old. The only thing I want to complain about is that I can't find anything to complain about!
The subway station is just in front of the hotel. Shops, restaurants, and malls are surrounding this beautiful hotel.
The GM told me it was a 4 star hotel but to me it is nothing less than a 5 star accommodation.
Highly recommended! Good price, great value!

SSoloTravelAnnaI stayed at this hotel for one night during an overnight trip from Beijing, and I wanted to share my experience.
Upon arrival, I took the subway to the hotel. The walk from the station was a bit challenging because the roads are currently being refurbished, which meant there were no markings. This made crossing the street quite confusing and a little unsafe!
When I checked in, the staff member at the front desk didnât speak much English. She handed me the room key without explaining which floor I was on or where the elevator was located, so another staff member had to assist me. The front desk was quite busy, as several guests were checking out at the same time. I also requested to include breakfast in my fee, but I donât think she understood me. As a result, I ended up paying for breakfast the next morning. I arrived at 9 AM, but the selection was quite limited.
I didnât use the hotel facilities, but I did take a look at the gym and pool, which are open to the public. The shower in my room provided shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, and having a bathtub was a nice touch!
One thing to note is that the hotel is open to the public, which made it quite busy during my stay. There was a wedding happening when I arrived, and later that evening, I encountered a birthday party. This meant there were many non-guests around, which made me feel a bit uneasy, especially as a solo female traveler. Being in the elevator with some drunken guests was particularly intimidating when they tried to strike up conversations.
Overall, I wouldnât rate this hotel five stars. Also, keep in mind that thereâs no massage spa available. While I didnât order room service, there are options for both local and Western food, including pizza.

MMichael & Nici Exploring China and BeyondWe checked in at the âSomerset Olympic Towerâ, late Saturday night.
This, as another branded hotel, disappointed us greatly, due to basic facilities not being available (we checked out).
Upon arrival at the Somerset Olympic Tower, we were warmly received, by the front of house.
Special thanks to âAveryâ, for her hospitality and for making us feel right at home, much appreciated.
Note: Check in and check out, was effortless and prompt, the way it should be. Thank you.
Our suite was exceptionally well equipped.
A well layed out kitchen, with major (Fridge, Washing Machine) and minor appliances (Microwave) as well as cutlery and crockery.
(Everything you need, for a long or short stay).
The dining room had a table and chair set, suitable for family or friends.
We enjoyed the lounge area as well, the sofa was comfortable and the area is well organised.
There is an office area as well, should you require the use of a desk.
The bedroom has a on suite bathroom, equiped with a bathtub / shower combination.
We found the bed to be comfortable, with quality bedding on it.
The suite has numerous windows, with clear city views.
Breakfast (buffet) was excellent, with a great selection (Western and Chinese Style).
The facilities are on international standard.
Guests can enjoy a fully equiped professional gymnasium, and a heated swimming pool during their stay.
Overall we were extremly satisfied with the service received, the facilities and the meals.
We look forward to visiting the âSomerset Olympic Towerâ often, and in the near future.

JJosephineWe were served by this pretty young lady Ms Elsa Chang at the reception counter. She was very polite and helpful, her smile brightened our days. She was very conscientious of promoting dinner and breakfast at the hotel, which we eventually took up her recommendation for the hotel breakfast. The breakfast spread was good with a range of wide choices including western and the local Tian Jin breakfast. Our room was upgraded and decorated for our wedding anniversary with the hotel's compliment. The hotel was located nearby the Ancient Cultural street, which is a stone throw away. Perfect view of the river from the window but the Tian Jin's eye can only be seen from the changing room. The hotel was accommodating to our request for late check out. Ms Elsa was at the reception when we check out and she sent us off with her beautiful smile. We enjoyed our stay very much.
