I originally thought it was a single-family apartment or a one-story apartment, but it turned out to be a super new high-rise building, an apartment managed like a hotel, with parking spaces and dedicated management. The apartment we lived in had two bedrooms and one Japanese-style apartment, a living room, kitchen, dining room, washing machine, dryer, and all the kitchen equipment. If there are many people, the sofa in the living room can be turned into a sofa bed. Moreover, the balcony on the high floor has an unbeatable sea view and a great view. Overall a good environment. The whole family can stay together, eat and drink together in the apartment, and there is a TV to watch Netflix. If you want to go to the famous Saki-no-Yu hot spring, it is only 1.3 km away and very convenient. Or there are supermarkets and fish markets nearby, but you need to drive to get there.
In the Kansai area, this pet-friendly resort is filled with the charm of hot springs and seafood, offering you and your beloved dog the luxurious time of enjoying the sunset sinking into the horizon. Nanki Shirahama is blessed with picturesque tourist spots such as Shirarahama, Senjojiki, and Engetsu Island, as well as a mild climate and abundant nature throughout the year. The hotel is located on an 80-meter-high hill overlooking Shirahama, offering breathtaking views. The facilities are well-equipped, including a dog park and walking courses, allowing you and your dog to relax both physically and mentally and enjoy blissful moments. In the spacious dog park, your dog can run freely, enjoying the freedom often limited during travel, and it also serves as a place for interaction with other guest dogs. In the restaurant where you can dine with your dog, you can savor a luxurious Japanese Kaiseki meal made with local ingredients from Wakayama Prefecture. A special menu for dogs is also available.
Before arriving at the hotel, I found that the transportation in the Kumano Hongu area was very inconvenient. I sent an email to the hotel, and they were able to reply within half a day. They also gave transportation suggestions and told us that they could drive to Ukegawa Station to pick us up, which saved us at least 45 minutes. distance. When we arrived at the hotel, the English introduction was very comprehensive, and they could send a car to take us to the bus station the next day, because the nearest bus station was not suitable for our travel time. The hotel provides a detailed bus timetable and a map for hiking from Prince Faxinmen to the palace. The meals and hot springs are typical Japanese style, and I am very satisfied. If the child's stuffed toys are left at the hotel after leaving, the hotel will contact us and they will send them to the next hotel. Really good service, highly recommended. The hot spring has two private baths, the public bathroom is also large, and there is also an outdoor bath.

The room was very clean. The landlady was kind and could communicate in Chinese using a translation software. I ordered her breakfast for 800 yen and it was very comfortable. I didn’t know what to choose from the meal. I just ate what she made and I was very satisfied. This B&B can pick you up from the station. I don’t speak Japanese, so I can only walk there. When I left, she drove me to the station. I liked it very much! The bus runs twice a day, and it’s difficult to take a taxi. The pick-up and drop-off is very pleasant.
The room is very large, mainly Japanese self-driving, on the mountain, up the mountain can be walked for 15 minutes. The hotel does not have a shuttle bus, but the supervisor is very good, knowing that we have no car, twice driving us to the JR station, people are very good
