We liked most of the hotel. The pricing was reasonable and it was in a nice and quiet area in Geneva. We found the beds to be comfy and felt the shower was excellent with a couple of different settings to get some good pressure. We had two twin beds and the room had enough furnishings in it to enjoy but it is just a place to sleep. The room ran a bit warm for us in late October but having the window open helped.
They have a very good breakfast with a good variety of items like Swiss cheese, bacon, cured meats, breads and some good pastries. Coffee, tea and juice is also included and they have a few dispensers in the dining area. Hot water is available here in case you want to make a hot drink and bring it back to your room.
When we visited this hotel there was an internet outage in Vernier so there was no wifi available at the hotel for the duration of our stay and our cellular was blocked. The parking garage was also doing some painting so it was tricky to figure out the parking situation and getting into the parkade because there was no signage. We had issues with the front desk because the staff did not inform us of these known issues while we were checking in and we found it somewhat frustrating but when we inquired about these issues at the front desk the staff that I spoke to was rude, argumentative and condescending while the one lady insisted that they told us during check in but we were simply providing feedback that they did not. We had booked a twin room and a double room for our family but the rooms were mixed around and we didn't figure it out until the next morning and just thought it was what it was.
My wife and I could not help but notice that the staff in the breakfast area only asked people of colour for their breakfast card. Each time we went up to grab something they were asking someone of colour for their card to prove they were ok to dine in the breakfast area and it happened so frequently that it did not seem to be a coincidence. Staff could improve by asking everyone or simply having a front desk before the dining area where people could check in so they do not have to weirdly single people out.
I believe the hotel was charging a 25 CHF fee per day for parking because it is a third party that operates the parkade. They did advise us that we could choose to pay this fee or pay at the machine in the parkade. When we asked about the costs of the parkade the front desk staff nor the parking operator could advise us what the overnight fees would be but someone later shared that we could check the machine when we go to check out and we found a payment schedule and only had to pay 15 CHF overnight. I have attached the payment schedule to this review.
There is not much near this hotel but we felt it was a convenient overnight stay as we drove around Switzerland. We enjoyed some aspects of the hotel but there are definitely some opportunities to improve.
Wow what an incredible hotel! We started off arriving super early to hotel even though check in was meant to be at 3. To our surprise the lovely hotel staff let us check in early and issued our free geneva travel pass and showed us to our rooms. Onto our room, it was very clean, so spacious with ample storage space and safe, TV and amazing views overlooking the alps. The walk in shower was the highlight and has been sorely missed since getting back home. The hotel has everything you need, restaurant bar, 24 hour reception service, small gym and added sauna which is all included free of charge. The location is very handy only being a 10 minute bus from the airport and tram outside the hotel that goes straight into geneva city centre. The staff were so helpful and welcoming and made our stay 10/10. Will definitely be back to this hotel again couldnt have had a better time.
Excellent location, right opposite to Geneva station. Allow early checkin, very nice services from staff. Room is clean and new. Great washroom setup and accessories. Suitable for business travellers too, will definitely book again next time.
Room size was okay, manage to open up 2 luggage in the room. Free transportation card is a plus point. Shopping mall right opposite the hotel, bus stop to the city within walking distance (just right opposite hotel).
The room is a good size, with a table for takeaways 🤣🤣🤣 The hanger can hold two pieces, which is very small. The advantage is the strong water pressure, very satisfactory. Be sure to stay on the 5th floor except in winter! There is air conditioning only on the 5th floor! The location is very convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Dior LV Cartier
Breakfast must be too rich
Very good. The front desk lady was very nice and had given me a free upgrade. Conveniently located and beautifully designed. Close to the tram station as well and has a lidl nearby. Historical, classy, clean. Would recommend to people who visits Geneva, prefers location close to the station and is on a budget yet wants a quality choice. The staff was also very considerate.
The only misgiving i had was regarding the restaurant (le bistro) downstairs. It was after hours (ie in the afternoon where no patrons were having lunch), but the staff, esp the chef, was not very polite to the guests. Apparently he had some misgivings to potential customers or preferred to let people feel unwelcomed, one can only guess. But i suppose they are quasi-independent from the hotel, so that was that.
super nice location! Nice view from the dining area.
Super expensive... 6 star price, 3 star service.
front desk not so friendly
breakfast is acceptable, nothing special, coffee, juice, milk, tea, water, cheese, cuccumber, tomato, boiled egg, scrumb egg, bread, apple, banana, kiwi. That's literally all.

Great
GGuest UserLocation was great, 2 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes to the lake. Room was clean. It had a kettle but no fridge. The street below was noisy at night with people shouting.
However, the hotel refused to honour my Trip.com booking for a double room and insisted I had booked a single room. It had a narrow 80cm bed. Despite me showing email confirmations and print outs, reception staff were rude and would not budge. Trip.com was great and although they were not able to sort it out, they gave me a goodwill gesture towards my next booking.
CChi Leungsuper nice location! Nice view from the dining area.

VVivi_lovelifeMostly good. BUT! 3 hours after I paid the city tax at the front desk, the hotel tried to deduct money from my card for 90 CHF without informing me anything. I was in my room that time suddenly noticed the notification. Luckily, as there’s not enough money for my account, it failed. Today morning when I asked the staff at the front desk, she just told me the deduction of the money finally failed so it shouldn’t have any effect to my account without any further explanation. Pay attention to this. If there was 90CHF in my account yesterday, it will be a loss of money.
WWagd M Mukhtar HamadThe location is perfect and easy to find, just right next to the station. The hotel is old but the room was clean and contains all that you will need.
GGuest User#positive #I was happy with the Natural Light in the Room, Toiletries, Bed Comfort Level, Value for Money, Safety, Room Size; The decoration of the hotel is not bad, clean, and the location is not far from the Kernavan train station in the city center and the MANO supermarket. The breakfast is not bad, but the western style breakfast is actually almost the same. The single room is actually quite large, with two single beds or a double bed. It's no problem to live two people, I really don't understand why it is counted as a single room. The price is very good, but the room key is a bit heavy, I always store it at the front desk. The hotel has a paid parking space of 25 Swiss francs per day, and an appointment is required. Send an email to him one day before check-in to ask for a free bus ticket, and he will send you an electronic ticket, which can be stored on the phone or printed out. During the stay, you can use the tram bus or ferry in the city for free.
GGuest UserRoom 35, close to the road, the noise is a bit loud. It is recommended that you propose a room that does not face the street when you book. Everything else is OK, breakfast is just like that, Swiss hotel breakfast is almost the same.
GGuest UserSurrounded by villages and fields, the air is OK, there are several free parking spaces, the hotel is not 24-hour service, get off work at the point, and you can only have breakfast at about 8 o'clock in the morning. The room is small, especially on the top floor. Be careful not to be hit on the forehead. There are several rooms that have no air conditioning. The air conditioner is also a floor-to-ceiling air conditioner. The sound is very noisy.
