Room was fairly clean but the hotel is old and a bit run down.  The location of the hotel , downtown of Waterbury , is not great.  We heard gun shots during the night , and did not feel safe walking around outside.  Was told to park our car in the a specific parking lot that ”had surveillance.”  All in all - an old hotel in a rough neighborhood.  Will not be coming back

The facility was lackluster at best. It used to be great. Eco friendly was claimed for not doing daily room service. Hypocritical. There were paper plates, plastic serve where, and poorly working HVAC units.  The organization was simply looking to cut down on costs. Similarly, I’ve seen better breakfasts at hotels that cost half as much. Vents in the bathrooms were nonfunctional. The window could only be closed from the outside. I look forward to posting this on yelp unless you make amends.

This hotel was nice. The bed in our room was very uncomfortable though. It was a king that slumped in the middle. Also didn’t like that there was no continental breakfast.

A small group of friends had plans to attend a Show at Foxwoods. The hotel was in close proximity to Foxwoods and provided a shuttle on Saturday night. The shuttle service was convenient and timely. The hotel was clean and neat upon arrival. It served our needs for an overnight stay and was cost effective. There was also a continental breakfast available for guests.

Good location for stop by from long way drive and they were so many restaurants around Southington

Love this hotel! The staff is very helpful. Rooms are very large because they are suites. Always relaxing and quiet

Hotel is on the side of the road, easy to access buses. You only need to walk 1 minute to the bus stop. In front of the hotel there is a refueling and there is a small shop selling snacks & drinking water. The hotel bathroom is clean, it seems to be newly renovated. The floor of the room in the corners is not clean, there are traces of paint falling, probably because of the old building. The heater in one of the rooms we rented was not working well. Request to clean the room can only be done after 3 days of stay by informing the hotel before 11am. Staff are very helpful and friendly. In the room there is a microwave and coffee maker, you can't cook a large amount of water, only for 1 glass. There is laundry inside the hotel that you can use coin quarter.

I didn't realize there was no surface lots and I'd have to pay $25/day for parking. I might have missed that in the description so that's not really an issue. We were given a room on the top floor, in practically the farthest corner away from the elevator which was quiet, but far away from the rest of my daughter's teammates who were staying on lower floors. We dropped our stuff and went right to the pool. There were only 4 chairs and no towels left so we had to go searching for them and most of our stuff got wet sitting on the floor so that was frustrating. The signs on each floor say ”ice and vending” but the floors I checked had ice machines only and I had to resort to paying $4.00 for a can of orange soda at the bar for my daughter. The store in the hotel was closed, though I'm not sure if it would've been cheaper. After swimming and hanging out in the spacious lobby, we returned to our room to realize it wasn't very clean but it was time for my daughter to shower and go to bed since she had a gymnastics meet at 7:45 am. I took pictures of the hair tie in the sink, the bug on the bathroom floor, the hair on the vanity and floor, the stains on the bed skirt, etc. Kind of disappointed bc I usually stay at Marriott hotels for work and never have these issues. The coffee shop in the lobby was quick the next morning though which was good since we had to get up so early.

A retro-inspired hotel that looks old and has a feeling of atmosphere. The front desk at check-in was very humorous, and let me take a photo of him. Simple American breakfast, free parking, self-service laundry, cheap, passing by for one night, still very satisfied!

The price ratio to satisfactory quality. Just a quiet area, cleanliness preserved. However, it was severely disturbing the smell of the room, used furniture, style 20 years ago. Continental breakfast, i.e. toast and jim.
