The location is great. You just have to select a rented property carefully. Ours looks like a bodega malayo sa picture Ng room na ni booked namin 😂 we are on our anniversary trip just my husband and I. The room is huge pero Hindi maayos, a spare bed on a side, two broken TV's under the table, a center table on the countertop.all in all parang inayusang bodega, Hindi matawagan ang agent wala kaming ma present na authorisation, buti na Lang to the rescue is ate guard 😂😂😂 anyway all charged to experience.

Staffs are friendly and professionals. However rooms need to be disinfected. Our first room has lots of small cockroaches. Second room, after we requested for replacement, is better. Still we noticed small cockroach in the bathroom…

I recently stayed at **Escala Tagaytay**, and it was a **wonderful experience overall**. The hotel’s location is one of its best features, offering **breathtaking views of Taal Lake** and a serene atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. The rooms were **spacious, clean, and well-designed**, providing a cozy and comfortable stay. The **infinity pool overlooking the lake** was a definite highlight, making for a scenic and peaceful escape. The hotel grounds were also well-maintained, adding to the overall charm of the place. Service was generally **good**, with the staff being polite and accommodating. However, during peak times, there were slight delays in requests, but nothing too inconvenient. The **breakfast selection was decent**, though it could use a bit more variety. Overall, **Escala Tagaytay is a great choice** for those looking to unwind and enjoy a beautiful, relaxing getaway. I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Tagaytay, especially for couples or families looking for a peaceful retreat.

We loved our stay, most specially the amenities such as pool and gaming room! The kids really had fun, and the moms loved picture-taking! The view from our room was mesmerising. Staff were kind and helpful. However, we did wish that our rooms were more clean, particularly the floor corners, toilet and the AC ventilator. We did find some bugs in the terrace too unfortunately. By the way, using the iron is 100 pesos, which I was very surprised about honestly because usually this is free and we literally used it for one item. 😅

Room and amenities are great! However courtesy and hospitality of the staff in the breakfast buffet aren’t nice. And upon check out the front desk lady ask me to sit and wait first to check the room, was waiting for more than 20 mins coz I heard her earlier that she was calling the room number one by one. But when I ask her again she just told me that she already clear my room, like what? I was just sitting there waiting for you to call me atleast approach mewhile I was literally wasting my time waiting for her call!

Here's an elaborate review based on your stay at Taal Vista Hotel: **Hotel Review: Taal Vista Hotel (Stay Date: January 4-5)** My recent stay at Taal Vista Hotel was a blend of elegance and family-friendly amenities, though not without a few quirks. Pros: 1. **Elegant Ambiance:** Taal Vista Hotel exudes elegance, especially with its grand architecture and beautifully maintained grounds. The back of the hotel features a spacious area perfect for strolling and playing, with breathtaking views of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. 2. **Family-Oriented:** This hotel is a haven for families. The expansive lawn provides ample space for children to run and play. 3. **Wide Parking Space:** Ample parking space makes it convenient for guests arriving with their vehicles. 4. **Breakfast Buffet:** Though the breakfast buffet had limited choices, every dish served was delicious and satisfying. **Cons:** 1. **Unheated Pool:** Unfortunately, the pool is unheated, which might be a downside for those looking to take a dip in colder weather. 2. **Outdated Room:** The room we stayed in felt quite old and outdated. The chair and sofa had tacky covers, likely because they were really old. 3. **Towel Availability:** Surprisingly, there were no towels in our room upon arrival. We had to request them, which was quite disappointing considering this is a 5-star hotel. In conclusion, Taal Vista Hotel offers a beautiful and serene environment, ideal for families, but could use some updates in the rooms and better attention to detail in terms of amenities like towels.

This hotel is really goof for the family trip with baby,we booked 2bedrooms suites, one room for the yaya, one room for us. one of the part that I am not satisfied is that when we were checking in,the ground floor was so noisy and crowded...The front desk said there is a event during that time,I understand, but makes me feel uncomfortable when we were waiting for check in.. and I remember the hotel wrote ”newly renovated”,but some parts of the room, seems old...for example, the shower area, the floor in restroom, the balcony already rusting, the towels semms really old ..But the price is cheap,so I didn't complain about those..Just hope the hotel can make those parts better.. the location is really perfect for traveling! The famous restaurant name “Rosario pamanang panlas” is just in front of the hotel, and there is a small mall beside the hotel, just 1-2minutes walking distance. The sky ranch is just nearby.we can see the lake and the volcano thru the Windows, really nice! the person are all nice and helpful..thanks for serving us for the 3days... will choose if we are going there again..👍

GGhingWe recently had the pleasure of staying at timberland I would like to commend the entire team for delivering an exceptional hospitality experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and the high level of professionalism demonstrated by all staff members. The front desk team was efficient and courteous, making the check-in process seamless and pleasant. The room was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and provided a comfortable space to relax. I would also like to highlight the excellent service provided by the staff. The meals were delicious, with a wide range of options, and the service was prompt and attentive. Special mention to angelica, kar, jerome who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Their dedication and customer-first approach truly made a difference. Overall, I highly recommend timberland to both business and leisure travelers seeking top-notch service, comfort, and convenience. I look forward to returning in the future.

GGuest UserThe room is very clean and it's really like a hotel it has a comforter like the ones you see at hotels we availed the deluxe room so its not that spacious specially the comfort room only one person can fit in. You can bring your own drinks or foods too inside the resort you don't need to pay a corkage fee. They have court for basketball and volleyball the price is cheaper when you rent it in daytime. We also tried their full body massage for 1 hr that cost us 750 pesos each. You will need to go to their resto to claim your free breakfast if you avail the room that comes with a breakfast, it will not be delivered to your room but you can choose whichever breakfast meal they have in their menu plus it comes with a soup which is great and their foods taste delicious also the price of their food is reasonable but they have a 10% service charge for dine in and 15% for room service. The resto's cutoff for room service is 5pm, 7pm for dine in. The resort's downside is their operations time the front desk and restaurant is only open from 7am-8pm so if you're going to need something from the front desk after that time no one can assist you because they'll be gone by then only the guard will be left in the front door and also if you got hungry at night you might need to buy food from their resto before they closes or buy from a nearby convenient store because there's also no foodpanda or grabfood nearby stores also closes early so you have to plan your dinner ahead of time. We went to SM (closes at 9pm) the fare going there using tricycle is 120pesos.Their pool is only open till 9pm only if you want to eat or drink near the pool you can use their cabanas. Another downside is the beach, the beach area closes at 8pm. Their sand is gray (but a fine sand) you can't really swim in it because the waves are strong and the water is not clear and it's kinda dirty there's a lot of trash beside the beach it's not well maintained. You will really need to go island hopping which is already not part of the resort's activity so they'll let you sign a waiver. There's a lot of bangkero beside the beach it's best to ride by group there's only 2 of us when we rode the boat so it's a bit expensive, island hopping will cost you around 2000 (1 island) to 3.5k (2 islands) we availed the 3.5k. We went coral diving (they lent us their goggles for free or bring your own goggles) and also went at the white sand beach which is in Bauan, Batangas which also has clear water and you can also spot some fish and corals, travel time going to those 2 places is 35-45mins you can also bring your food but keep in mind to really cover it in plastic so it won't get wet because the trip going there is really rocky you will really get wet because you will pass by a strong waves so cover all your belongings. It was raining when we went there so maybe that's why the waves are strong. Overall we had a blast! We indeed had a memorable stay. They even gave us a gift when we checked out they're so thoughtful. Thank you for the wonderful experience we will surely recommend you to our friends.

MMargo ELashApart from the surroundings being naturally beautiful with trees, lake, etc., for this kudos for the way the place is designed… nothing much special about this place unfortunately. We were not impressed given all the hype in Social media platforms. Here are a few things I have noted that made me feel not worth coming back for: 1. Check in process is so Manual - we arrived right on check in time by 3pm. Lots of paperworks to be done, asked for each guests IDs, took photos of it. 1 paper we need to fill out with guest names etc, another paper to sign acknowledgement on rules, etc - literally in pen and paper. After all the paperworks, that is the only time we were briefed of the facilities map, where to go, what to see etc. So for this part alone - is almost 1 hour. Since we have to go to each room/suite, we had to wait for buggy to bring us, another waiting of about 30mins., we even needed to approach again the reception desk to ask where is the buggy just for them to check again. Come on, this is already 1.5 hr of us paying for the stay and yet we haven’t utilized the room and facilities itself. We were only able to settle in our rooms almost 5pm already. 2. Restaurants, I understand all are organic. Hence charges are high. We went to the Indian Vegetarian restaurant and ordered - Parata, Fries, Fried Tofu, Palak Paneer and 2 juices our bill is about 3,500 pesos. For it being homegrown plants and organic, we accept that amount is that high. However, we were only 3 tables filled in the restaurant, not full house and yet food took almost 1 hour to arrive. 😕 3. All else comes with charge if you wish to utilise, like massage, water therapy and all. Charges for each of this service is already same as how much the room cost. Free sessions - Yoga in morning is good. Sound therapy - not so. Room wise is ok. It is a expected with the rates they charge, you expect to be in a decent room at least. Nonetheless, it was good for experience. But may look out for other places with same facilities that will make you feel the value for money. Main disappointment we have is all the waiting time we had faced, while being there on non-peak days (weekday) and yet for each thing we had to do/request, we had to wait minimum 30mins before getting the service needed. Meanwhile, check out wise - everything was done fast and 12:30 sharp we were on our way out.😂 I am sharing based on what I have personally experienced, some may have enjoyed and experienced otherwise, unfortunately not the case for our group.

GGuest UserGreat experience overall! 👍 The staff were very accommodating and tried their best to meet our needs. However, with only a few staff at the front desk, it led to delays in check-in for many guests. Maybe consider increasing the front desk team? 🤝 we booked 3 rooms and nakapagcheck in past 3pm. be considerate and patient kulang lang sila sa from t desk  The view, ambiance, pool, and branch area were all 10/10! 🌳🌴 The cleanliness was impressive, and the multiple showers were a plus. 💦 One suggestion: a facility upgrade would be great. Some parts still feel like they're stuck in the 90s 😂. Considering the price, it's understandable. For food, I'd love to see more options and hopefully not too pricey
