"If you compare it to a Japanese business hotel, it's 5 stars. By global standards, it's 3 stars. So, I rated it 4 stars. The value for money is excellent. As of 2025, I doubt there are many hotels in Asian cities that offer this quality for this price. It's not luxurious, but for someone with Japanese sensibilities, it's a perfectly fine hotel. The owner, Slab, is incredibly hardworking and kind. While other staff members vary, it feels like everything runs smoothly under the owner's control. It's a bit out of town, but within walking distance. It's also conveniently located on the way to the airport. There's a bus stop right in front, a supermarket next door, and if you cross the road and go left, you'll find a delicious bakery. The tap water is drinkable, and there's a water cooler at the front desk. There's no iron available. For laundry, if you request it before 4 PM, they'll send it out for cleaning for GEL 20 per bag. Breakfast is from 9 AM to 11 AM. When we had early excursions or late-night flights to the airport, they kindly prepared breakfast boxes for us. Apparently, we were their first Japanese guests. While Kutaisi may not see many Japanese tourists, if you're visiting the city, I highly recommend this hotel. We had a very satisfying stay."

Зоны роста отеля: заселение с 15 часов,- не удобно. С 13 часов было бы лучше. Не настроен тв, - это дизлайк. В душе забит сток и вода не уходит даже после прочистки уборщицей,- дизлайк. Мало крючков для полотенец и вещей в душе. Слышимость коридора и второго этажа- это дизлайк! Кто-то шарился и двигал мебель над нашим номером, это было душераздирающе."

"We stayed for 3 nights, it turned out to be 2 full days in Kutaisi. For us, the location was convenient, I arrived from Tbilisi by train. The hotel is next to the train station. Check-in is fast. The room is spacious enough, a comfortable bed, clean linen, towels. There is everything you need, gels, shampoos, toothbrushes. There is a kettle, tea, coffee, they give 0.5 water daily. Bathrobes, disposable slippers. Breakfasts are good, buffet, enough choice. Cleaning is daily, but we refused, because we only spent the night in the room. We walked around the main sights of Kutaisi, from the hotel to the central square about 20 minutes. We were quite satisfied with the chosen hotel."

"We absolutely loved this hotel!! Sofia was warm and friendly, and the breakfast was abundant. There is a swing on the third-floor balcony, where you can enjoy beautiful night views. The dog by the entrance is lovely as well. The hotel is not far from central Kutaisi, which is super convenient for self-driving guests, and parking is available right at the front door. We hope to visit again sometime."

"Here were the best breakfasts for our whole trip to Georgia. The hosts cook themselves, everything was very delicious. The hotel is in an old house with history. To the center and to the station on foot about 15 minutes. For comfort and comfort in general, everything is fine, unless only a couple of wishes: Add some furniture to the room because there is no place to fold your things, and make the settlement process more understandable for the guests. Nowhere was said that you should inform the hosts in advance of your arrival. We arrived in the evening and waited for them in the corridor for about 15 minutes."

Extremely convenient location. The house is situated on a quiet street and set back in a courtyard. The hosts speak English and Russian. Mamuka sent us a lot of recommendations for places to see and suggested a restaurant (which was quite good, I must say). Check-in was comfortable. As for the downsides: the only thing was that there was quite a bit of noise transfer between the bathroom and the bedroom. But overall, it wasn't a problem. And the price was very pleasant indeed. The room was beautifully decorated with a painting on the wall. There were bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes, shampoo, and shower gel. Tea and coffee were also provided. Everything was so thoughtful! Wishing you all the best!

It is located in a housing area. We use waze to drive here. It is a big bungalow, with ample parking space. The main reason I chose this place is because the toilet has bidet. And it is even better as the place is very clean. The toilet is updated and comfy, even the shower curtain is clean, not even a single black dot can be seen. I didn't take any photo of the bathroom though. There's a common kitchen. They provide water dispenser as well. We get to the city using Bolt, and it was cheap. No issue in getting transportation. Overall I recommend this place if you are in Kutaisi.

The hotel is very near to the main attraction but what we liked most was the staff and the owner were friendly and accommodating! Our room was huge and we were provided with lots of towels and other amenities. The breakfast was ok but not fab but it compensated of how they’d welcomed us

I gave all 5 hearts purely because of the actual experience, I want to tell my compatriots in Chinese to be mentally prepared for health and facilities. Next, the good side, the small yard is well cleaned up, the boss and the wife are very enthusiastic, but the old man may often drink a little more, but he is really enthusiastic and at home, in line with the experience of the homestay. If you can't find it, ask people with the picture. There is a error of about 100 meters between positioning and Google Maps. Almost everyone around knows the old man. It is suitable for a transfer or two nights. There is no commercial taste at present, and the human touch is still very good. 😀

Great place if you have a late or night arrival! They picked us up for free from the airport in the middle of the night, which was super convenient. The hotel is located halfway between the airport and the city center, so it’s easy to get around. The staff were really kind and helped us find a taxi when we needed it. Everything was smooth and well organized — definitely recommend it!

The hotel has a great location in the old town center, right by the river and the White Bridge. It's super convenient to walk to the central area for shopping and dining, just a few minutes away. The room wasn't huge, but it was clean, and the front desk staff were really friendly. Breakfast was a bit simple, though.

That chinese dude's 2-star review is ridiculous. Good place for this price. The host is friendly and willing to share some tips about nearby places of interest. The house offers most of the amenities you might require - shower, washing machine, big bed and a small table. Take note that the house is up on the hill, so you'll have to take a small ”hike” to get back from the city. On the other hand, the place is quite and grocery store is nearby. Also, don't count on the wi-fi and the fridge - let's just say that these resources are limited.

This is a good choice for budget travelers for a one or two night stay. Hotel is in a central location (set back from the road so look out for the signs on the main street) , 2 km from Kutaisi train station and 10 minutes to city centre . The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Wifi is good, beds are comfortable, room is well heated. There is a balcony which we didn’t use but would be nice in the summer months . Breakfast was plentiful and hearty. There were two negatives for us. The balcony door didn’t lock and there were no English speaking staff on premises. I was checked in over the phone by the manager and her number is posted on the door. The next morning we were able to ask the lady who cooked our breakfast if we could store our bags for a few hours, we managed ok with translator. However if you needed help to call a taxi or for anything else this was not available, which might be an issue for some travelers . I also wasn’t sure how secure our bags were for the time we were gone, perhaps a locked cupboard or storage area would be better. Having said all that however I would stay at the hotel again because it was excellent value for money
