Hotels With Parking in Fes-Meknes, Morocco

We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Volubilis. We hesitated to book the hotel because of some bad reviews about not having hot water and the staff being unfriendly (especially to Asians). But we decided to book anyways because of its location and quite affordable price. We were arriving to Fez at around 5pm, and we were told staying at the Medina wouldn't be worth it. Since we were catching a flight the next morning, we thought it would be more convenient to stay in the new city. So, despite some of the bad reviews, we decided to spend the night at Hotel Volubilis. Its location turned out to be great. It's right at the center and by the main avenue. There are lots of places to eat at walking distance and there are several Carrefours closeby also at walking distance. The staff was nice and they welcomed us well and took our request for a taxi to the airport in the morning. So, we have no complaints about the staff. Our room was big with a terrace. The room was old but clean. The terrace had no table or chairs, but it was okay. The bathroom was also big and we had no issues with the hot water. We showered at arrival and in the morning and water was hot and with pressure. The thing that we missed the most in the room was a fridge. Other than that, all good and acceptable. Though we agree with the other comments saying that this is not a 4-star hotel by ”global” standards.

At breakfast, the manager followed us to ask us to fix, even though we had communicated our room number at the entrance breakfast was understood. The hotel is comfortable and clean, and it is quite quiet. The location is a bit far from the ancient city, but the taxi is not expensive. You can get to the ancient city for 20 yuan. The surrounding facilities of the hotel are also quite complete, there is a big supermarket, and McDonald's.

The hotel is decorated in a beautiful traditional Fez style and is located in a quiet location. It is very convenient to get to the Blue Gate Old Town and take a taxi. You can have delicious tagine at the hotel. The boss was so helpful, egutwastasbye comforted me aw. We contacted the landlord in Casablanca and solved our big problem. The stay was comfortable and pleasant.

The hotel's WiFi coverage is particularly comprehensive, whether in the room, lobby, restaurant, or in the corner of the corridor, the WiFi signal is very strong, there will be no disconnection. I have tested it in various places in the hotel, the speed is very stable, and the video, game, and download files are smooth. For those who need to surf the Internet at any time, such a comprehensive and stable WiFi is really important.

Bad check-in experience; the hotel environment and the location of the room itself are very good, but when I checked in, the front desk of the hotel told me that I could not check in without paying the room fee; then I contacted the customer service and asked me to pay the room fee first, so I paid the room fee in advance and said Good to return when we check out the next day; as a result, when we went out early in the morning, we still did not pay the room fee; and Cui customer service; finally we left Fez at 12 noon and got the room fee we paid in advance;

The location was great, close to the bus stop for Chefchaouen and the train station, so it was easy to get around. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
