1. **Location:** The location is absolutely superb, right in the prime spot of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. It offers a tranquil escape amidst the hustle and bustle, making it incredibly convenient for daily outings, shopping, and dining. It's also very close to Ba Shi Seafood Market and the pier, making travel a breeze. There's even an underground parking lot available.
2. **Decor Style:** The B&B is quite new. While its exterior showcases Xiamen Zhongshan Road's typical arcade (Qilou) architecture, the interior boasts a charming Nanyang retro style, which I personally loved.
3. **Service:** The staff were all incredibly helpful and attentive. Here are two examples: First, on our initial night, my daughter likely set the AC too low, resulting in a low fever, headache, and chills in the early hours. I asked if they could prepare a traditional remedy: a warm drink with scallion whites, ginger, and red dates. To my surprise, they actually prepared it exactly as I requested! After she drank it, she broke a sweat, and her fever quickly receded. We almost thought our vacation was going to be cut short! The second incident occurred on the morning of our departure: my daughter left her bracelet on the breakfast table. We only realized it after we had already left, so we went back and asked the front desk for assistance. They managed to find it for us. The staff's service was truly exceptional; they were responsive to every request and always went the extra mile.
4. **Breakfast:** While the B&B's breakfast might not compete with a large star-rated hotel, it's generally quite good and offers a decent spread. They cover all the bases, providing a variety of options like Mianxian paste (vermicelli soup), sweet potato porridge, mung bean soup, white fungus soup, soy milk, milk, bread, stir-fried dishes, fried snacks, steamed dim sum, eggs, assorted grains, and fresh fruits. For children, those under 1.2m eat for free, those between 1.2m and 1.4m get half price, and children 1.4m and taller pay full price.
5. The hotel corridors feature unique devices holding tea leaves. I'm not sure if their purpose is mosquito repellent, but it's the first time I've ever encountered such a thing. It struck me as a distinctive local touch, and a rather thoughtful one at that.
**PS:** For this B&B, I highly recommend choosing a room with either a terrace or an external balcony. Many rooms have balconies that face an internal atrium or courtyard, which isn't as appealing. I personally saw the difference and decided to upgrade my room on the spot.

The location at Zhongshan road is my reason to choose this hotel. It is near to shops, food outlets and the Gulangyu island. Right opposite The hotel is a McDonald. The hotel room is clean, comfortable. Laundry machines are available. The photo is taken at Gulangyu island.

We booked a twin room for two, but upon arrival, we were assigned a double room. The front desk staff should be more attentive. The room change caused a delay, and we nearly missed our cable car to the attraction. As compensation, the hotel proactively offered us a complimentary room upgrade.
However, I found the overall communication to be unprofessional and in need of improvement. While rushing to catch our cable car, I missed a call from the hotel. When I called back, the staff claimed they had called me ”several” times and I hadn't answered, then asked if I had time to talk and to ensure I picked up future calls. The truth is, I only had one missed call on my phone. Furthermore, prior to leaving for the cable car, I had already called the front desk twice from our room's landline. I had explained that we were given the wrong room and, after waiting for a response on a room change without success, I informed them I had to depart immediately due to my time-sensitive cable car ticket.
The hotel breakfast was abundant and featured local delicacies. However, during breakfast, I had just finished getting my food, stepped out to use the restroom, and returned to find my table completely cleared. This resulted in a significant waste of a full plate of food, fruit, eggs, and a drink, and it wasted my time. Even though I had placed a 'I'm still dining' sign on the table, my meal was cleared anyway.
The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for accessing various attractions. It's also very close to Heping Wharf, within walking distance.
The swimming pool was very clean. It would be more convenient if bath towels were provided in the pool's changing rooms.
The housekeeping staff were very good, meticulous in their cleaning, and very friendly.
The gym was well-equipped, and the exercise studio was clean and tidy.
The view from our window was absolutely stunning. I believe it's the best vantage point on Xiamen Island to admire Gulangyu.

We were so glad we chose this guesthouse! The entire check-in process was incredibly smooth and made us feel instantly at ease.
**Regarding the environment:** The place itself was immaculately clean and tidy, boasting a modern decor. The bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a fantastic night's sleep.
**As for the service:** The front desk staff were excellent! They proactively sent detailed check-in instructions which were incredibly practical and helpful. Whenever we had questions, their responses were always prompt. They even paid attention to small details, like noticing we'd bought water and then kindly providing us with extra bottles.
**Location-wise:** It's perfectly situated right next to the famous Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, making exploration incredibly convenient.
**In summary:** This was an absolutely flawless experience! I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting, and we will definitely be looking to stay here again if the opportunity arises.

I am a foreigner. This morning, when I checked out, I forgot my passport in the room. Fortunately, the front desk staff noticed it in time and contacted me to send it to me 👍👍. The breakfast was very tasty, served from 7:00 to 12:00. If you wake up late, you can directly have it as lunch. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, handling check-in quickly. The room was clean and hygienic, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with good water pressure. The location and environment were good, right below was a pedestrian street that was very lively with lots of snacks and convenient shopping.

When planning my trip to Xiamen, I started my hotel search. After much back-and-forth comparison of many options, I finally settled on Weishang. The cleanliness and overall environment were top-notch. The front desk service was also excellent; when we checked out, one of the staff members even helped us carry our luggage downstairs and load it into our car. What's more, the location offers excellent transport links. Zhongshan Road is right downstairs, and it's very close to Zhonghua City and Tiger City. The bus and metro stations are also not far, just about a 10-minute walk away.

My Stay: Beyond Expectations, A Truly Comfortable Experience
My overall experience during this stay was fantastic! First off, the location is superb. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for visiting both tourist attractions and shopping districts. Absolutely perfect for travelers!
Secondly, the attention to detail in their service truly stood out. From the friendly front desk staff guiding me with a smile during check-in to the housekeeping team proactively replacing bottled water daily, every interaction reflected their thoughtful and professional approach. The room itself was another pleasant surprise: the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderfully deep sleep. The smart toilet and voice-controlled lighting were a fantastic bonus, adding a touch of modern tech. What's more, every corner, even the often-missed spots, was immaculately clean – I truly couldn't find a single fault.
The breakfast spread, while not spectacular, was definitely ample, offering both Western and Chinese options. I particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared noodles and freshly brewed coffee.
Should I return to this city, I would definitely prioritize staying here again! I highly recommend it to anyone who values both convenience and comfort.

The room size was just right, and the bathroom was especially spacious. Traveling as a family, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Check-in at the front desk was fast and professional. Most importantly, there are over a dozen Michelin-starred restaurants and plenty of entertainment options nearby, all within walking distance, so no need for a taxi.

I chose the Sheraton, a top-tier hotel, for my trip to Xiamen to watch the Super Table Tennis League, and my stay was absolutely perfect. The facilities, service, and location all far exceeded my expectations!
The hotel is located in the city center, within walking distance of the subway station. It's just a 20-minute drive to popular attractions like Gulangyu Ferry Terminal and Zhongshan Road. There's a wide variety of dining and shopping options nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
The room was spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering city views. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The hotel also boasts a 24-hour gym, a heated swimming pool, and a spa center.
From the warm welcome upon arrival to the thoughtful farewell at check-out, every staff member showed professionalism and sincerity. The front desk handled check-in quickly, and room service was incredibly responsive! The complimentary daily replenished drinks in the room, and the staff's initiative to address guests by their last name, made me feel truly at home.
Whether for business travel or a relaxing vacation, the Sheraton Xiamen is an excellent choice! I look forward to staying again and experiencing the charm of Xiamen and the attentive service of the Sheraton!

__WeChat42922****Let me start by praising the hotel's ambiance. Perched by the Min River, the lobby on a high floor offers an immediate sense of spaciousness, akin to a 'sky lounge.' I particularly loved the lobby lounge; its enormous floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking river and city views. Whether it's watching boats glide by during the day or admiring the glittering city lights at night, it's an absolute delight.
The thoughtful design and meticulous details are evident throughout the guest rooms. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious. Soaking in the bathtub while enjoying the night view instantly melted away all travel fatigue. Hilton's renowned service standards truly shone through here. From the warm smiles of the bellmen proactively helping with luggage upon arrival, to the efficient, professional, and welcoming check-in process at the front desk, every single interaction made us feel respected and valued.
I must give a very, very special shout-out to one particular staff member – Kelly. Upon check-out, I realized I had left behind a strip of medication, which was very important. Kelly very efficiently helped me locate it in the room and sent me a photo. That's when I discovered I had forgotten other items too. She kindly gathered them all for me to pick up later. Her genuine desire to ensure guests have a perfect experience was truly heartwarming!
The hotel's breakfast alone was worth waking up early for! It offered a fantastic selection of authentic Fuzhou local snacks, such as Rou Yan (swallow dumplings) and fish balls. As an out-of-town visitor, I didn't have to venture far; the hotel provided a one-stop experience of the most authentic Fuzhou breakfast culture, and the taste was incredibly genuine!
I highly recommend trying their Executive Lounge benefits and Chinese restaurant; both are reportedly excellent. I didn't get a chance to experience them this time, so I'll save that for my next visit!
BBuandechang_BrandonFacilities: The amenities are pretty standard, on par with a 2-3 star hotel.
If it weren't for the National Day holiday, it definitely wouldn't be this expensive. In my room, there was a large pane of glass that was already shattered and felt precariously loose.
Environment & Location: The hotel is conveniently located at the northern entrance of Quanzhou's Food Street, making transportation easy. There are numerous restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores nearby – super convenient.
Service: The staff were warm, thoughtful, meticulous, and patient.
Hotel operations are also very detailed; they prepared handy tourist attraction guide notes for guests in advance. You can simply grab a note for the attraction you want to visit and follow the transportation routes indicated on it, making it very easy to plan your trip.
Hygiene: I'm extremely dissatisfied. The linen and towels were too old and tattered, either with holes or frayed edges. The carpets in the public areas were very dirty and greasy; it felt like they hadn't been cleaned in months, maybe even half a year. It wasn't just near the elevator where spills from guests might occur, which I could understand, but even the carpets in the public corridors were very dirty. On my third day, they didn't even provide room service. I had to call to request it, and the cleaning lady who came said she was too busy, which was why my room hadn't been cleaned by 4 PM.
AAnh-BaoThe apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood.
The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for.
Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak.
Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help.
The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing.
Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.

MM38209****The location of the hotel is simply perfect, right by the sea, enjoying the night view of the entire Wuyuan Bay sea view. You can see the sea on both sides. And the environment is not ”first class”, and it is very quiet and comfortable to sleep at night.
Location: Just next to the International Yacht Exchange, very close to Wutong Wharf, Fliport Convention and Exhibition Center, and Gaoqi Airport, the transportation is very convenient.
Service: The front desk is very enthusiastic and can help you solve any difficulties, but the check-in procedure is a bit complicated, it would be better if it can be simplified!
Hygiene: The hygiene is quite clean, and overall I am very satisfied.
Facilities: Decorated in a business style, the supplies provided in the room can basically meet daily needs. I heard from the front desk that there are newly renovated rooms, so I'll come and have a look next time.
Generally speaking, the price is high and the environment is very good. The first choice for the next business trip!
__WeChat283834****Absolutely loved it! The mattress firmness was just right, and with the AC on, I slept soundly until morning. Plus, there's a huge projector screen, which was fantastic for watching movies. The front desk service was attentive and helpful, always ready to assist, unlike some hotels where staff are slow and look annoyed. I highly recommend everyone to come and experience it!

GGuest UserI really loved the hotel's design and ambiance. The room was comfortable, spacious, and spotless. It featured a projector, an automatic toilet, and smart room modes; with just a press of a button, the lighting and other settings would adjust automatically. They also offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the train station, which was incredibly convenient. There's a courier station just a 3-minute walk away. The breakfast spread offered a good variety too! Everything tasted delicious – flavorful, not too salty or greasy. I especially recommend the *jiuniang* (sweet fermented rice soup), Sihuanhua, fried eggs, and the freshly made noodles. The staff were all very warm and friendly, always greeting us. Knowing we had traveled a long distance, they even gave us a small gift bag containing some snacks and water to help us re-energize for our journey. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time! (They even upgraded us for free as our originally booked room type wasn't available due to a late check-out. *Please note: The attached photo is of the upgraded room, not our original booking.*)
