Motels in Nova Scotia, Canada

It was unclear to me when I booked online that a “physical” credit card was required to use for a damage deposit. *I had loaded my credit card to my wallet on my iPhone & left the physical card @ home. (I don’t carry a purse, so this was a great option for me). The motels policy was credit card to use as a damage deposit…NO exceptions 😱 I had offered to use cash, but, was told no 😱😱 It just so happened that I had a credit card tucked away in my glove box or I would have been out of luck…would not have been allowed to check in & would have lost $400 on the room rental. SO…beware travellers!!

If you are planning on doing the Cabot Trail, and not starting in Sydney, this is a great place to stay before you start the drive. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the on-site laundry was great - it saved us a lot of time trying to find one in the next few days. The owner was very helpful, and the breakfast was one of the best on our trip so far, with lots of fresh fruit.

The bedding is clean and you can sleep soundly. You can check in from your smartphone and you will receive your room number and room password to your smartphone. For breakfast, read the QR code the night before and order it. Lots of bread, warm boiled *, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, yogurt ... It's great that it's a wide variety and free. There are plenty of chargers. The refrigerator is also big, you can bake bread and bagels for breakfast, even a microwave oven, and it's perfect. GS, steakhouse is right in front of you, and the highway is right away. It's really convenient. I want to stay again next time.

i was a little bit reluctant because of the low rating in google, but when we had our stay there, it wasnt bad at all. the only thing that id say wasnt really good was the breakfast. not much to choose from, and the poor taste of coffee. Nevertheless, for its price, id stay here again.

I always have a good experience at this motel. It is just down the road from my daughter’s home so very convenient. It is comfortable and cozy. My room was a housekeeping unit so would be convenient for a longer stay to cook a few meals in the unit.  The bed was very comfortable.

The hotel environment is elegant and comfortable, especially there is a lake in the hotel's garden, which is a good place to stop and take a rest during a long trip. The hotel's hygiene is good and the waiters' attitudes are good.

This hotel is near Peggy’s cove, but I don’t recommend you stay here because it’s too expensive and there is just one restaurant and one store around this motel. You can drive to Halifax for more choices.

Very good experience! After communication, the front desk service gentleman was very enthusiastic and serious after the system Check, found that someone canceled the order and changed the twin room. The hotel provided 24 hours of drinking hot water! There is a Chinese restaurant opposite the hotel, close to Halifax Old Town and the airport (more than 20 minutes drive, easy to return the airport) and worth choosing a hotel.

The motel is built with thin wall, we heard ppl talking all night outside our room until 3 in the mid-night……horrible!

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. Who could ask for more!
