This shrine is associated with Niimi Nankichi, and is a one-minute walk from Niimi Nankichi's birthplace. It is said that Niimi Nankichi passed through the shrine grounds every day to go back and forth between his annex and his shop (his birthplace). In addition to appearing in fairy tales such as "The Fox," "The Story of Kyusuke-kun," and "Irodori," "Gon Fox" (the draft of "Gon Fox") was also created as a story that Niimi heard from his grandfather Mosuke in front of the young man's storehouse in the shrine grounds. It's definitely worth a visit!
