When all five floats are gathered, the mechanical puppets attached to each float perform a dance. The procession of the floats stopped after the Ise Bay Typhoon in 1959 when breakwaters and national roads were built, but in 1993, the beach was artificially recreated, and after 34 years, the original procession was revived. It is now a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. This area is also a fishing spot where you can catch seigo, black porgy, goby, and halfbeak, and the grassy area is a seaside park where you can spread out your lunch and have a picnic.
