Great location, very comfortable beds, the bathroom felt outdated and honesty a bit dingy. The bath itself was very shallow and didn’t drain properly. The curtains where full of dust and the towels had absolutely seen better days.

Everything was fine except for the service in the restaurant . Very slow and just left us sitting there . Had to go and find someone to get any service. Were left short of a dish and when we made them aware we got what we had ordered but the dish was charged twice on the bill.  Hotel is very modern and very clean , room were of a high standard.

One of my favourite hotels for a great stay . The rooms are so spacious. Got a beautiful room overlooking the tyne river.

Absolute brilliant hotel, staff so friendly and welcoming, can I just say, paul on reception was an absolute legend, as I rang up in the morning to request an early check-in as we arrived after 12 and check-in wasn't untill 3, but paul put a lock on our room, so it was ready for us when we arrived, give that man a raise. Perfect location and comfortable rooms, will deffo recommend, and if im visiting Newcastle again, I think this hotel will be my first choice, depending on price. The location is perfect just little more than 5 min from NewCastle Station. The Breakfast buffet is perfect English Breakfast I had in recent times. I liked the quality of mattresses for comfort sleep.However, cleaning was not perfect when I checked in on first day. I stayed in total two nights. Overall, comfortable stay for couple of nights!

This was our 3rd stay in this fabulous hotel, nothing too much trouble reception staff great when we wanted to check in early, we left bags in their care and came back later on to collect & check into our luxurious King Room. Lovely comfy bed and everything we needed. Ordered an Omlette for breakfast which was included in our rate, was the best Omlette I've ever had so complements to the chef for that, lots of other continental & full English options available everything you could wish for including fresh fruit yoghurts cheeses chocolate muffin was lush too! Thanks for another brilliant stay at a very reasonable price through Trip.com. We will be back soon.

Located in the town of Newcastle, the hotel is a very large hotel. There is a bar and Starbucks on the first floor. The breakfast is very good every day and overall is very satisfying! The disadvantage is that there are no slippers and the bed is small.

Me and my husband staied there very recently , the hotel is clean but very old and the amenities are very poor . We booked a classic room the room was large and spacious but very old furniture and the bathroom too was very old . The amenities were very poor there was no comp tap water in the room which I found it very strange as is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Staff was nice very indifferent though they did not give any information about breakfast time or WiFi and they did not ask the purpose of our stay( maybe because we were not British ) . Overall was nice stay but not 4 star hotel.

Although I stayed for one night, the overall experience was good. The environment was quiet, the front desk service was very friendly and kind, the parking and transportation were very convenient, and the breakfast in the morning was very rich and delicious. Next time I go to Newcastle, I will choose this hotel
