Very good hotel, with a magnificent pool. Relatively close to the city center, you can walk.
What I don't understand is that you can't pay by card if you buy less than €5 at the hotel bar. You can't have a beer without metal. One of the people who worked there insisted a lot that you couldn't pay less than €5 with a card, it was also difficult for them to charge it to my room by showing my ID at reception, finally and as an exceptional favor, they charged it to me and I paid it in the checking out. It shouldn't be that difficult.😫
Due to a temporary change in itinerary, we stayed in Viana do Castelo, a small town in northern Portugal for one night.
The hotel was newly opened in 2004, and you can obviously smell the decoration, but the facilities are very new, the room is relatively spacious, and the windows can be opened for ventilation. Although there is no kettle in the room, there is a water dispenser on the first floor, which also provides hot water and coffee. The first impression of staying is very good.
It is worth mentioning that there is freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast, and I give it full marks just for this reason.
A restaurant at the port is a two-minute walk from the hotel. The design is very novel and you can enjoy delicious food while watching the train pass through the bridge. It is a great experience.
The front desk service was also very enthusiastic. They also provided charging cables and helped to exchange money. Overall, I was very satisfied.
Such a unique and period stay, stunning river views, amazing walks nearby and so many market towns and villages nearby with the beach a stone’s throw away by car. Would definitely repeat.
Very good location, close to village center with a lot of shops nearby.
All staff was super friendly, and room was super clean. Breakfast had a lot of options. The hotel has a very calm ambiance with gorgeous views to the river Vez. Parking was also available. I definitely recommend a stay at the hotel.
Calmity, contagious sympathy on the first day by the receptionist was decisive for a good stay.
A very quiet and quiet place.
The hotel and the room are very good.
The indoor pool was warm with good temperature and good time of functioning and without defended time tb very good.
I have nothing less positive to point out.
Located in Labruja, Capim Limão Country House is a great base to explore the city from.
This property has a pool, including a heated pool. During your stay, treat yourself with a visit to the on-site spa, massage room, sunbathing area, or foot bath. There's lots of activities to do, including horse riding and hiking.
At this hotel, you'll also find facilities including a bbq, garden, and library. Staff at this property's front desk can speak 5 languages, including English. For extra convenience, free luggage storage, dry cleaning and laundry service (on-site) are available at the property as well.
Parking is available at the property.
The hotel is ideal for the mountain lovers, we have gone with two children and a very large and comfortable family room and a basic but sufficient buffet breakfast.
The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel is very comfortable and the hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are very comfortable and very comfortable.
Gostamos muito da estadia neste hotel. Atendimento excelente e tudo muito limpo com cuidado nos mínimos detalhes. Deram uma flor ás mulheres no pequeno almoço. Apenas duas coisas a apontar,

The hotel is on the mountain, follow the navigation, the door is not particularly obvious, it is best to check during the day
in. The service staff is very enthusiastic, the environment is good, quiet and natural. The hotel has its own horse farm, and horseback riding is required.
GGuest UserThis was one of the best and most unique hotels we've ever visited. The location is perfect, there are tons of shops, restaurants, and bakeries, plus several historical sites and museums that are must-see. The hotel's chocolate museum is truly an incredible experience, especially in the education of the history of chocolate and the cocoa bean. And the chocolate products themselves are fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel if you are planing to visit this town.
GGuest UserWe were in awe of this home. So much to explore and so much history! Loved the thick granite walls and original wooden doors/shutters with hardware, antiques and displays everywhere, beautiful view, and even a pool. It is situated in a quaint little area by a church and you can easily walk down to the river. The area around Ponte da Barca is absolutely beautiful and fun to explore. The hosts are very friendly and offered a lovely breakfast.
BBigkidsarahWe had a fantastic stay at Axis hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions. We especially loved the breakfast and spa. Can’t wait to come back!”

NNick DewhirstHad the room all to myself. It's a really modern property overlooking the sea /river. The breakfast was excellent as ever. Great stop off between Porto and Santiago de Compostela. Sadly only two trains per day!
