The hotel is really good and employees were kind and friendly. The only rdiculous part was the paid parking. It should be for free.

Very good hotel, with a magnificent pool. Relatively close to the city center, you can walk. What I don't understand is that you can't pay by card if you buy less than €5 at the hotel bar. You can't have a beer without metal. One of the people who worked there insisted a lot that you couldn't pay less than €5 with a card, it was also difficult for them to charge it to my room by showing my ID at reception, finally and as an exceptional favor, they charged it to me and I paid it in the checking out. It shouldn't be that difficult.😫

Due to a temporary change in itinerary, we stayed in Viana do Castelo, a small town in northern Portugal for one night. The hotel was newly opened in 2004, and you can obviously smell the decoration, but the facilities are very new, the room is relatively spacious, and the windows can be opened for ventilation. It is worth mentioning that there is freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast, and I give it full marks just for this reason. A restaurant at the port is a two-minute walk from the hotel. The design is very novel and you can enjoy delicious food while watching the train pass through the bridge. It is a great experience. The front desk service was also very enthusiastic. They also provided charging cables and helped to exchange money. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Such a unique and period stay, stunning river views, amazing walks nearby and so many market towns and villages nearby with the beach a stone’s throw away by car. Would definitely repeat.

Very good location, close to village center with a lot of shops nearby. All staff was super friendly, and room was super clean. Breakfast had a lot of options. The hotel has a very calm ambiance with gorgeous views to the river Vez. Parking was also available. I definitely recommend a stay at the hotel.

Arcos de Valdevez é lindo e sem dúvida um lugar para voltar sempre desta vez ficamos pelo Luna que apesar de não ser um hotel recente é um que tem as melhores condições, super recomendo por todos os motivos e pelo preço qualidade, apenas acho que se fosse mais moderno pela decoração seria o perfeito, pois a nível de spa e pequeno almoço e o conforto das camas é sem dúvida maravilhoso 🤍

Gostamos muito da estadia neste hotel. Atendimento excelente e tudo muito limpo com cuidado nos mínimos detalhes. Deram uma flor ás mulheres no pequeno almoço. Apenas duas coisas a apontar, o acesso ao spa faz com que se tenha de passar pela área de restaurante e bar, onde recai também a segunda crítica, de que deveriam disponibilizar robes a todos os hóspedes de forma a não ter de vestir e despir a própria roupa ao chegar ao mesmo e ter de passar por estas áreas do hotel, o que não acontece. De resto estava tudo 5 estrelas.
