I had a fantastic stay at the Savoy Hotel! From the moment I checked in, the service was warm, professional, and welcoming. The staff truly went out of their way to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The hotel itself is stylish, clean, and very well-maintained. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay — including a super comfortable bed and high-quality amenities. One of the best things about the Savoy Hotel is its convenient location near the airport, which made traveling in and out incredibly easy. Despite being close to the airport, the atmosphere inside the hotel was calm and quiet — perfect for getting some rest after a long flight. Overall, I highly recommend the Savoy Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, classy, and convenient place to stay — especially if you want to be near the airport. I’d definitely stay here again!

To complete my holiday in the Philippines, I stayed at the Grand Westside Manila Bay. I was genuinely impressed by the beauty of the hotel. It has a wonderful ambiance, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options. Likewise, the in-room food service option were fantastic. My only disappointment was that there was no box of tissues in the room, which I needed for my cold. Additionally, my neighbors and their children were quite loud, and since the walls in my room were not soundproof, it wasn't easy to find some peace and quiet. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Manila, and I look forward to staying here again during my next holiday in the city.

Our second stay here. Checked in by Aileen Acosta and we felt very welcome. Room was a bit small but bed was comfortable with strong hot shower. Walkable from NAIA T3 which is why I chose it. Walking distance to casinos. Room amenities were excellent. The swimming pool is small. Mainly for kids and we had to climb up a few stairs as the lift stopped on the 10th floor. Wifi was not really good. Need to keep on signing in. Overall an excellent hotel at a reasonable price due to its location.

TThe Honest Check-In 2025.08.06
Hotel 101 Manila – Guest Experience Review Date of Stay: August 3, 2025 Duration: 1 Night This was my first time staying at Hotel 101 Manila, and unfortunately, it wasn’t the kind of experience I hoped for. The night before my check-in, I sent an email politely requesting an early check-in, fully aware that it would depend on availability and front desk discretion. I arrived at the hotel around 10:00 AM and queued at the front desk. I was assisted by a male front desk officer. I provided my ID and mentioned that I had sent an early check-in request via email. He didn’t acknowledge the email and simply told me that standard check-in is at 2:00 PM, and there were no rooms available. What was disheartening was that while I was still at the counter, another guest beside me—who had just arrived—was given her room key and allowed to check in. It made me question the consistency and fairness in handling such requests. I didn’t want to make a scene, so I simply sat in the lobby, frustrated, thinking of where and how I could freshen up and iron my clothes before my 10:00 AM appointment. I approached another front desk officer (a female this time) to ask if early check-in would be possible if I were willing to pay. She checked and still said no. I also asked if I could use their iron and board, or perhaps request their housekeeping to press my clothes and will just pay .. something I know is possible in many hotels. But again, I was turned down. With no other choice, I left the hotel to attend to my day’s appointments feeling uncomfortable and unprepared. When I returned at around 4:00 PM to officially check in, things didn’t improve. After ironing and changing, we left again and only returned to our room past midnight—tired and ready to rest. However, the air-conditioning wasn’t working. No matter how I adjusted it, the room remained hot. I called for assistance and the engineering staff came. He checked the unit and said it was dirty and needed cleaning, but since we were only staying for a night, they couldn’t do anything immediately. He adjusted the temperature to 21°C and said it should be okay, assuring us that it wouldn’t shut off again in the middle of the night. Still worried, I called the operator to ask if there was any chance we could change rooms instead. She said she’d call back. While waiting, my companion and I discussed what to do—tired, hungry (our Wendy’s food was already getting cold), and dreading the hassle of packing up and transferring rooms at that hour. After not receiving a callback, I phoned again and said we would just stay in the same room and take the risk. It was a long, uncomfortable night. By 2:44 AM, we still couldn’t sleep. The room was hot, and the low temperature caused insects and mosquitoes to appear. I inspected the air-conditioning unit myself and was horrified to see visible dirt and mold buildup. We had no choice but to sleep in that environment, breathing in whatever was coming from that filthy AC. Upon checkout, I spoke with Sir Jason from customer service to raise all these concerns. He was polite and listened attentively. I appreciated that at least. But the truth is, this experience left me deeply disappointed. I didn’t feel welcomed or properly accommodated. Despite the hotel’s great location, I don’t think I would choose to stay here again. There are many other hotels nearby, and I would prefer to support a property that values fairness, cleanliness, and the comfort of their guests.

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff greeted us warmly and made the check-in process seamless. Everyone we encountered was not only professional but also genuinely friendly and helpful that making us feel welcome and valued. One aspect that truly stood out was the cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was immaculate upon our arrival, and it was evident that great care was taken in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene. The common areas, including the lobby ,contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, our experience at Skyport Hotel was outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay that close to airport . Thank you for providing such a wonderful service and maintaining a clean environment.

Perfect location for couples or groups planning to barhop in Poblacion, Makati. The room was huge. Has a bathtub, all the basic amenities, and an indoor onsen. Just wish the breakfast buffet didn't run out that easily on a Sunday morning. Nonetheless, we had a nice stay.

Rooms are spacious, clean, and homey. The view from the 5th floor is also nice. The hotel itself is large, you can get lost. It has a very titanic-y lobby but crowded with people due to a lot of events being held at the hotel. Service is also good, not the lobby restaurant tho. We were seated for 20mins but no one approached us to take our orders since everyone was busy. So we missed the afternoon tea. Breakfast is also fine, not as much compared to other 5-star hotels but good enough. Amenities, not so much - instant coffee (could have atleast a drip coffee if espresso machine is expensive), no stock in the fridge. Was not able to use the pool since it was also crowded. Overall stay was good. Hotel is recommended.

MMs. AngeHotel Stay Review I stayed at this hotel with my four siblings. Initially, I booked a premium room for two people because I expected only one of my siblings to join me. However, plans changed, and all four of us ended up coming. When we arrived at the hotel around 11 a.m., I approached the front desk to request an upgrade to a room that could accommodate five people. I was informed that no such room was available, so I agreed to book an additional suite room (Suite Two), which could accommodate three more people. I appreciated that the hotel placed both rooms next to each other—a thoughtful arrangement that made it easier for my older sister and me to look after our three teenage siblings. We were aware that check-in was at 2 p.m. and were willing to wait. Since it was a holiday (Lenten season), most nearby establishments, like malls, were closed. The front desk initially encouraged us to go out and explore, but I gently reminded them it was a holiday and most places would be closed. Eventually, they allowed us to wait in the lobby, and we were pleasantly surprised when they let us check in early at 1 p.m., which we really appreciated. The front desk staff were approachable and polite during both check-in and our stay. However, we experienced some issues with communication. When I called to order food, I clearly requested seven cups of plain steamed rice, two pitchers of service water, carbonara, two sticks of chicken barbecue, and beef tapa. I specifically asked that all rice—including the one that comes with the beef tapa—be plain steamed rice. The male clerk repeated the order and confirmed all the details. However, when the food arrived, we only received two cups of rice, one of which was garlic rice, and the rest of the order was incomplete. The pitchers of water were also forgotten and only empty glasses were delivered. I had to call again and follow up several times until the order was completed. I didn’t get angry or raise my voice, but I was genuinely disappointed. Everyone stayed calm, but the experience was frustrating and could have been avoided with better communication and attention to detail. The Suite Two room was spacious and satisfying, but we were surprised to find a cockroach crawling on the floor, which my brother had to kill and dispose of. The premium room was quite narrow, but the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The telephone in Suite Two had an issue with the volume. At first, I thought there was no dial tone, but later realized the volume was just extremely low—we could barely hear the person on the other end, and the phone didn’t ring audibly. The shower in one of the rooms had no curtain, although there was a rod for one. After my sister showered, the bathroom floor got soaked. We weren’t provided with floor towels, which was concerning since we had younger siblings who could easily slip. I called for assistance, and while the staff responded, they arrived without the necessary tools and had to return multiple times. As for amenities, the room for three had only two slippers, and the room for two had none. This felt a bit lacking, as we expected a more thoughtful provision of basic items. A consistent issue we faced was the drop-off location. Whenever our Grab drivers would drop us off at the hotel, they seemed frustrated due to confusion over the signage. The signage directing drivers to the drop-off area was placed in a way that led drivers to believe it was the exit, rather than the entrance. This caused some inconvenience, as drivers would end up at the wrong location and have to turn around, adding unnecessary frustration to their experience.
