Hotel Kan-Raku Akita Kawabata

A small and exquisite Japanese-style hotel with a hot spring on the first floor. It is very convenient to walk everywhere. It is a good place for business travel and private travel. I have stayed here twice and I like it very much👍
Richmond Hotel Akita Ekimae

Comfortable, up-to-date hotel with above average size rooms. 10 minute walk to Akita Station. I opted to do laundry in their coin operated washer-dryers and you can monitor the machines from your hotel room screen--pretty cool! HVAC control allowed us to use air conditioner (due to unexpectedly warm days) even though most hotels in Japan had switched to winter mode, so this was a plus. The only downside was that the 2 single beds were pushed together so one person had to climb out of bed over their bed since there was no space to put your foot down! We did not have breakfast there because when we decided to do so, they told us the dining room was full and we would have to wait 30 minutes.
Ana Crowne Plaza Akita

I made a reservation to enjoy the winter festival in Akita. It was essential to get off at JR Akita Station by using the airport bus from Akita Airport, and the tour in the field was departed and dissolved at the east exit of Akita Station. It was a night festival, so the dissolution time was past 11 pm. The location was great, but I often asked at the front desk, but the staff 々 was very kind and comfortable. The room was only 3 nights in a large twin room on the upper floors, but I was able to stay comfortably. The only problem is that you know how to store hot water in the bathtub. This has to press the button under the shower curtain, but it is unfriendly without guidance. Every time I passed through the lobby, I was laughing at the explanation on the phone. The view from the room was the Akita Station River, but since it was on the east side, I was able to see a beautiful dawn. It was also good that it was a snowy scenery in February. Breakfast is a restaurant on the top floor, but here is a large kiln with freshly made bread. Japanese food can be compared with local rice, and you can also enjoy Kiritanpo soup and Inaniwa Udon. You can enjoy a pleasant breakfast with a good view. It makes me think that the ANA hotel is delicious with juice and coffee.
Toyoko Inn Akita-eki Higashi-guchi

It is quite comparable to the standards of domestic Hanting hotels, but the facilities are relatively old. Breakfast is okay and rich in variety. There is no bottled drinking water in the guest rooms, but there are water dispensers and vending machines in the lobby. Disposable toiletries are available at the lobby counter. Akita people are very honest. The bus driver saw that we had a lot of stuff and took the initiative to come over and help. I praise the character of Northeastern people!
Hotel Folkloro Kakunodate

We will disseminate information about ”Hotel Volcroro Kakunodate” in Kakunodate-cho, Senboku City, Akita Prefecture. I stayed at ”Hotel Volcroro Kakunodate” from April 22nd to 24th, 2023. ”Hotel Folkloro Kakudate” is a series of hotels of ”JR East Hotels”, adjacent to JR ”Kakudate Station”, and is a short distance of 30 m on foot from the entrance and exit of the station. Breakfast is free and parking is free. There are only 9 parking lots, but if they are full, they will guide you to the nearby free parking lot. Also, all rooms are Wi-Fi compatible, and even if you forget your mobile phone charger, they will be lent to you at the front desk. The room is kept clean and gives a good impression. Since it is adjacent to JR ”Kakunodate Station”, I was worried that I would be worried about the sound of the train, but I could sleep well without worrying about the noise of the train at all. It is access to the essential Kakunodate ”Samurai residence”, but it takes about 14 minutes on foot to reach the nearest samurai residence ”Onoda family” in Higashishorakucho, and it takes about 1100 m. On the street leading to the samurai residence, I arrived in no time when I saw a birch shop, a souvenir shop, a Oyakodon shop, etc. You can reach the cherry blossom tunnel on the Kiuchi River embankment in 20 minutes on foot, and about 2000 m. The best location in front of the station is within walking distance to tourist attractions. Also, you can go to see the cherry blossoms and the illumination of the samurai residence at night and miss dinner. In the hotel, there was a restaurant, a tea house ”Sakura Komachi”, and there were plenty of menus such as Inaniwa Udon, Hinai Chicken Oyakodon, Okariba Yaki, and Kamiyo curry. However, the hotel does not have an elevator, so you have to carry your luggage to your room by hand. This trip was a large suitcase for foreign travel because I had a lot to wear considering the cold. I want a service that hotel employees will help me. I had a pretty heavy thought and took my suitcase to 2F. 01_ [One bite note] ⑴ Location ... 〒014-0368 Nakasuzawa, Kakudate CHO, Senboku City, Akita Prefecture 14−14 Telephone ... 0187-53-2070 ⑵ Check-in Out ① Check-in ... 15:00 ② Check-out ... 11:00 ⑶ Parking ... 9 (free) When full, guide to the nearby free parking lot ⑷ Facilities ... Akita Castle Hotel

My stay at Akita Castle Hotel was truly an unforgettable and wonderful experience. The hotel is located in the center of Akita City, and it is very convenient to access tourist attractions. From the hotel, it is easy to go to local tourist attractions such as the Akita Museum of Art and Selion Tower, and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping facilities in the surrounding area. As for the room, I was particularly impressed with its size and cleanliness. The modern and elegant interior is designed with a sophisticated design, and the calm colors provide a comfortable and relaxing feeling. The large windows offer a beautiful view of Akita City, and the tranquility that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The service of the staff was also very impressive. From check-in to check-out, each staff member was kind and responded quickly and courteously to any questions. In particular, the front desk staff were able to give detailed information about local recommended spots and restaurants, and were quick to respond to any problems, so I was able to enjoy my stay with peace of mind. In terms of food, the hotel restaurant offers dishes that make use of local Akita ingredients. In addition to fresh seafood, you can also taste local cuisine unique to Akita Prefecture, all of which was exquisite. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, making it a great way to start your day. Overall, Akita Castle Hotel is an attractive accommodation that can accommodate any purpose, from business to sightseeing. The clean and comfortable rooms, the warm service of the staff, and the exquisite location will ensure that all guests have a great stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers who, like me, are looking for a comfortable and pleasant experience.

Tazawako Lake Resort & Onsen

I stayed at this glamping field with a friend who wants to camp and I am not interested in camping. There is no toilet or bath in the room. (Of course, TV is also available) We will use the toilet and large communal bath in the main building opposite. I was worried about the toilet at night, but I was worried because it was a sense of distance from several emails. The room is compact, but the air-conditioning is also effective and comfortable. The main camp experience will be prepared in the state of baking the ingredients, and the hotel staff will light it if you ask for charcoal fire. However, it was a barbecue while making a fuss with the two of them who had the first experience. It was a big outbreak of Abu in the time, so it was difficult to get attacked by Abu early in the evening. (Insect repellent and * Insecticide will also be prepared) However, by the time you have dessert, you will be able to relax without abs. It was raining in the morning, but breakfast on the deck, the view of the square and the mountain in front of me was beautiful without worrying about insects, and the birds' voice was a really pleasant breakfast time with BGM. The coffee you grind and brew yourself is also delicious. A full-scale camp is impossible, but it is recommended for those who want to experience only the atmosphere. It seems good to prepare separate sandals to move to the deck and the main building. (It was troublesome to wear sneakers one by one) The staff in charge of us was kind and pleasant. I hope there is a pamphlet that teaches first-timers like us how to enjoy camping. (There was a bonfire, but I noticed that it existed in the morning, and I didn't know how to use the camping equipment and there were scenes where I was confused. I can do this. Could you enjoy it more if you could give a lecture like this? I would like to visit you again in a different season next time. Thank you very much.
Comfort Hotel Akita

This hotel is near to the station and right above a Lawsons. Room is nothing to shout home about, small and clean. In fact I felt it was a bit smaller than what I'd usually expect from a Japanese hotel, and the air had the faintest tinge of smoke in the air despite this being a no smoking room. Still, beds were comfy and all necessary amenities were provided. The breakfast was appreciated, but can be crowded. There's a good mix of Japanese and Western options, and constant free flow of coffee/tea in the common area.
Grand Park Hotel Odate

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. Again, don't worry about English. Staff has great service attitude and are very very helpful! Also very honest. I lost my PASSMO and train ticket - picked up from just outside hotel and returned to me. If there's an eventin the vicinity, this hotel is PERFECT! They have won many awards and the staff even helped me to connect with the next hotel for early check in as the staff were friends with the hotel I was going to stay...Most interesting convenience store, tried interesting oden and even stocked Okinawa pig ears that were so thinly sliced. Better than the Chinese restaurants - so refined...Visit them in the 2nd weekend of February and you can tour the candy festival (with Akita Dogs parade) at the same time. Very comfortable bed too. I can't find anything bad about the hotel.
