Hotels With bar in Northeastern Region, Iceland

The warmest and warmest hotel in the whole trip to Iceland, the location, facilities, cleanliness are very good, especially recommended.

We were very lucky to check in in the morning, and upgraded the room, the experience was great! Fortunately, I saw the aurora burst on the roadside at the entrance of the hotel that night, and I didn't see it the next night. The hotel staff was warm and thoughtful. They were walking to the cathedral and the botanical garden. At the same time, they were lucky to participate in the church service at 11:00 am on the day of arrival. The organ choir was very good. The breakfast was also colorful. Although it was Western food, it was also suitable for our Chinese stomach. Very worth staying.

The room was spacious and clean, with excellent hygiene. The view from the window was beautiful, offering sights of the sunrise and numerous small volcanic craters. Check-in and parking were convenient. The front desk even asked if we'd like to be notified about the Northern Lights, which was a very thoughtful touch. That evening, I managed to capture many photos of the aurora. We heard there's a free hot spring, but we weren't aware of it and missed out. Breakfast was plentiful.

My wife and I booked a double room in this hotel, full of rooms, and the door of the room is already using electronic locks! The first floor is the restaurant, check in is also at the restaurant counter, check in with a free drink from the restaurant. The kitchen has a simple microwave and a kettle to use. The bathroom is in the basement, and it will definitely pass the restaurant on the first floor. It feels a bit strange, and men may still go wrong into the women's bathroom. This part is a bit strange in the design of the compartment. There is a bar behind the hotel, which will be very noisy before snoring at night. Even if the soundproof airtight window is closed, it is quite loud; and the door bow buffer of the restaurant door on the first floor of the hotel is not enough, and the closing will affect the upstairs!

Very cute design hotel with a cozy atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and lovely details throughout the property. I especially loved the lounge and game room area — I ended up spending almost three hours working on a puzzle there and hope someone finishes it after me! The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I didn’t try the hot tub though, as it is located in the middle of the hotel and felt a bit too exposed since people can easily look at you from around the property.

I had a wonderful stay near Goðafoss—just a 2-minute walk from the waterfall, which was absolutely breathtaking. The host was incredibly helpful and kind, going out of their way to check the weather forecast for us and even letting us know the best time to see the Northern Lights. Their hospitality made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore this magical part of Iceland!

The room was rather small, and the breakfast selection was limited, but the location was excellent, making it easy to reach various parts of the town. The gym had many facilities, but it was mostly empty, so you could practically have the gym to yourself.

숙소는 후사비크의 항구 바로 앞에 있으며 고즈넉하고 조용한 곳에 있습니다. 우리가 도착했을 당시 호텔은 무인으로 운영되었지만 안내데스크에 우리를 위한 메시지와 더불어 열쇠가 준비되어 있어 바로 방으로 들어갈 수 있었어요. 방은 따뜻했으며 침대와 작은 테이블, 옷장이 존재하는 심플한 구조 입니다. 음료나 스키르를 보관할 조그마한 냉장고가 있었더라면 더욱 좋았겠지만 겨울이라 사실 크게 상관 없었습니다. 조그마한 문제는 함께 묶은 다른 객실의 고객들에게 있었습니다. 그들은 새벽까지 술을 마시며 크게 떠들며 놀았고 그로 인해 우리 부부는 휴식을 취하는 것에 있어 조금 문제를 겪었어요. 일정 시간이 넘어가면 다른 승객을 위해 조용히 해줄 것을 안내하는 방법이 호텔 곳곳에 마련되어있으면 좋을 것 같아요. 그래도 대체적으로 좋았습니다. 다음에는 여름에 방문해보고 싶어요.

Solid guesthouse with a good breakfast. The journey there felt epic, as we were greeted by wild horses. The room was small but sufficient for one night. Some guests were unfortunately inconsiderate in the shared area, particularly regarding cleanliness, noise levels and unpleasant smell. The staff was friendly and attentive. Use of the hot tubs would have been free of charge.

This hotel, part of an Icelandic chain, is ideally located in Akureyri, about a 10-15 minute walk up the hill from the town center church. The water pressure in the shower was the best we experienced at any hotel during our whole Ring Road trip, and the toiletries provided were L'Occitane, which was a lovely touch.
