During my stay, they served nasi dagang, nasi minyak, variety of kuih muih, and so many more. My kids love the swimming pool and they ask for more days. And the room is so spacious like really comfortable even if you have 5 kids hahahaa

All about facilities are fine,breakfast is okey but receptionist at front desk name hazie.... very cocky and she not even smiling. Its very hard to find receptionist who work at hotel like that..please la change your attitude..very poor.

The check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and nice. My room was clean with basic amenities like free Wi-Fi and a coffee maker. The bed was comfortable and dining at Jala Mas Coffee House was average. Overall, the hotel is quite suitable for travelers seeking affordability.

I recently stayed at DJ Citi Plaza Hotel & Suites for a business trip and overall, it was a great experience. The check-in was smooth and quick. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The staff were excellent throughout my stay. Everyone from housekeeping to the F&B were polite, attentive, and eager to assist. Especially to en. Rohaizan. He was very good in assisting me & the rest. Thank you so much again.

I love the hotel. It gives a serenity vibes and calm. I love how clean eventho the hotel is an old hotel. But everything is so clean and good condition. Talking about the pool. So big and save for the kids to enjoy. The surrounding also very big and got many parks for the kids to enjoy. Except kijal is quite far from KT and Kijal town itself has nothing except for the sea. But i love it anyway. Good place for taking a break from busy city

Arrival & Ferry Service— The complimentary ferry service from Fairfield Kuala Besut to Perhentian Island and back was a nice touch. We were provided with free drinks, and the waiting area at the restaurant or lobby was comfortable and convenient. Birthday Surprise— This was a birthday trip for my husband, and I truly appreciated the effort put into decorating our room and providing a complimentary birthday cake. It made our stay extra special! Room & Privacy— The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but it lacked privacy as it was clearly visible from the pool opposite (Room No. 2048). I requested a room change to a more private space but, unfortunately, received no response. Cleanliness & Housekeeping Issue— On the second day, I found a dead animal stuck on the daybed’s blind. Since I wasn’t using the blind, I left it there as we were checking out the next day. However, I was disappointed with the front desk’s response when I reported it upon checkout. The receptionist simply said, “Oh, we will ask them to see and remove it,” without offering an apology or even a simple thank you for informing them. For a five-star hotel, I expected better hospitality and professionalism. Dining Experience— • Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I especially loved the nasi lemak—the sambal was just right, not watery or overly sweet. There were also plenty of desserts and even ice cream, which was a nice surprise! • In-Room Dining: The food was delicious and well-presented, but it wasn’t very warm upon arrival. It would be great if they could serve it hotter or use a warmer. • Restaurant Dinner: I ordered grilled beef, grilled prawns, and fish, and all were absolutely delicious! Facilities & Environment— The resort’s facilities were excellent—top-notch in every aspect. I especially loved the romantic beach area, though the climb to reach it was a bit tiring. Still, the view and experience were worth it! Late Checkout & Departure— A big plus was the complimentary late checkout at 4 PM, which aligned perfectly with the ferry departure time. This was really convenient and appreciated. Final Thoughts— Despite a few minor issues, I truly enjoyed my stay. The resort offers a wonderful experience, great food, and excellent facilities. I would definitely return with my extended family for another trip!

My bath tub is repaired or patched. Can see the works. Room is spacious with wooden balcony. Have 2 sun bathing seat to relax. Maybe need to bring own mosquito repellent if want to relax evening or late night. Breakfast is okay for me. I give 3/5 just for the feel of the hotel.

Bilik lama, how can you expect more. But the toilet was a refurbished one. Carpet tak selesa, perlu ditukar. If tak pakai selipar mmg gatal2 tapak kaki. Overall, an acceptable hotel utk rehat with this price. Looking forward for a renewal of felda hotel💪🏼💪🏼🤲🏻🤲🏻

Big room. Comfortable. Bathrooms are all clean. Limited breakfast. Gotta go down a little fast. Overall everything is okay. The hotel is really close to the payang market.  in the middle of the city. Can be reached on foot. In front of the hotel there is a white mosque. Muslims can pray near there.  Only this is an old hotel. So the furniture is all old. Receptionists are all friendly. Really satisfied. School holiday fully book. Must book early.

New hotel just opening in Aug.2024 & near to Jetty Pulau Perhentian. Free parking with open parking It was quite expensive for room charge (RM 305 for with 2pax breakfast) compared to the Kuala Besut area. Remote area & near to Kuala Besut jetty. Need to drive to find food stalls. Hotel provides vending machines to buy snacks & drinks. Room too small. Nothing special about this hotel similar basic hotel. Breakfast with simple meals Local staff very friendly & helpful.

Everything is relative. For perhentian, barat is one of the cleaner hotels around. But for the price I paid during super peak season, one would expect cleaner services. I waited hours for the room to be ready, which I can understand as the night before was fully booked and I arrived before the official check in time. However, when I was finally able to check into my room,, the shampoo packet from the previous guest wasn't picked up and the drain hole still had hair. Towels were also damp. Once we got over this initial disappointment, I was quite happy for the rest of my time there. Room was well equipped with a kettle, hair dryer, fan and super cool air conditioning, the latter was crucial to alleviate the record heat we are experiencing. Location was superb as well. You can go snorkeling at the beach outside the neighboring hotel, where you can see baby sharks hanging around the rocks. I was assured by the staff that momma shark don't hunt there. I guess they are right since I lived to write this review. Those a little braver can swim out to turtle point (life jacket recommended). Every morning, loads of boats arrive here to drop off eager snorkelers hoping to catch a glimpse of turtles. It's nice to have the option to go anytime at your leisure, staying at barat hotel nearby.

I really liked the hotel. It is located right in the forest, among the trees. The area is great. Squirrels are jumping on the veranda, waiting for a treat. The staff is very responsive and friendly. There is a swimming pool and a water park for children on site. And the sea is just a fairy tale.

The resort is located on a very long and quiet beach and, even if it is a bit disconcerting at first, it is the ideal place for those who want to spend a few days in total relaxation. The complex is spread over a fairly large area and offers various accommodations on the seafront. We booked one of these and it was really worth it. The room has a beautiful window overlooking the beach and, in the morning, waking up with the sound of the sea in the background is priceless. The room is quite comfortable, a small living room with a sofa and armchair, a bathroom and a bedroom. Outside, a small patio with two chairs and a small table. The bed is comfortable, quite large, the power outlets are convenient. However, we did not like some things: starting with the bathroom which gave off a very bad smell of stagnant water and also persistent. We had to keep the door closed otherwise the bad smell spread to the rest of the room. In general, there was a lot of humidity throughout the bathroom, so much so that the various aluminum accessories had several rusty spots. The shower provided very little water, and to have hot water you had to turn on a second shower head. Externally, one of the two chairs was broken. Finally, there was a generator right behind the room and therefore the noise was very loud even inside, with the doors closed. The services offered by the resort are quite extensive. The restaurant is mediocre, in terms of choice and quality of food. Many of the drinks are not available, many dishes on the menu are “out of stock”… but it is understandable considering that you are on an island. The pool is very large and beautiful even if not very clean. The deck chairs are few and also broken. In conclusion, the real strong point of the resort is the staff and the location. The rest can be improved, there is a lot of potential and if only they took more care of it, there would be nothing to envy to more renowned brand resorts.

We stayed at Mimpi Perhentian Resort Hotel at the end of June for 3 days and 2 nights, and we regretted not booking a longer stay. Our sea view triple room was perfect for our little family of three, including our six-year-old boy. The resort offers the best views on Long Beach, and we loved the chill vibes in the morning and the lively atmosphere in the evening and night. Booking all our island trips through the hotel was super convenient since we could charge everything to our room. We did snorkeling during our island tour, which is an absolute must-do when you’re on the island. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds, strong air conditioning, and great water pressure for showers. The saltwater hotel pool was also charming and a great spot to relax. We appreciated having the staff handle our luggage and bags, bringing them from the jetty at Kuala Besut all the way to our room at the hotel itself, which was superb! The boat ride to the island was also great, seeming more luxurious than the ones offered by the other resorts on the island. Each and every single staff throughout the hotel was amazing and friendly; making our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was just okay, but no worries! There are plenty of cafes just a stone’s throw away with affordable, really good food covering almost all cuisines. A beautiful stroll away, these cafes added to the charm of our stay. Mimpi Perhentian truly is a dream come true. We can’t wait to return!

A very good place, close to restaurants, mini markets and clinics. the room is clean, the service is very good, even the random stuff we need by accident also their employees help us a lot. Its location close to the main road made it easy for us to travel. Jerteh town is only 2-3 minutes away. Worth it and very affordable.

The room is very spacious, a single-family log cabin, the room facilities are relatively old, the toilet door is about to fall off, the quilt and bed sheets are not particularly clean, there will be some ants and mosquitoes on this island. The hotel service is not bad. When you arrive at the hotel, someone will help you take your luggage to the room, and after you check out, you will also help to send your luggage to the pier. There is a Chinese-speaking lady at the front desk of the hotel who is very nice. Meals in the hotel restaurant are very cheap, most of which are more than ten ringgits, but the variety of meals is a bit small, and the food is a bit aesthetically fatigued. There are a few cute kittens at the front desk of the hotel, and they have to pet them for a while every day, haha

This resort is wonderful place to stay in a very good budget compared to other resorts around. The room was pretty clean and comfortable. 24/7 air conditioning and water heating facility available. The hotel staff was super kind and friendly. You can enjoy drinks at the bar with Akmal and gossip with nice music ❤️ They serve amazing food and offer snorkeling trips , boat taxis, kayak and other facilities.

Comfortable to stay , good experience , spacious and clean room. I frequently need to work travel to Kemaman and this is my choice of hotel for overnight stay. Staffs are friendly and amenities provided are suffice.

It's normal but it's ok to have a place to sleep and rest for a while. But don't expect anything fancy. The budget hotel is really old-fashioned but it's good to have a coway. The bed is not hard, the shower tap water is fast.

This hotel is far much better among boutique hotel in Chukai. It is suitable for business traveller. Not really convient on finding what to eat based on walking distance. But overall it is a good place to rest after coming back from work

Absolutely liked everything about this hotel. What a gem of a hotel! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment.The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with elegant décor. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable.

I have booked this hotel for our staff who has a business trip to Kemaman. Not so bad. The hotel is clean nd comfortable but a bit far from town. Youu need to have a transport to get or to buy something. Overal is good.

Hotel is close to my work place, walking distance to restaurants. Very clean and comfortable room.

The room is a bit old and ruined, however the lcation is good. The room just near a main road and opposite of school so it's a bit noisy at time. Could get a better room with the price, however not so much option in kemaman
