It is a standard express hotel with a large room. The surrounding area is a bit like an outlet village with many shopping shops. However, some facilities in the room are damaged. For example, the knob for adjusting the water outlet in the bathroom is broken, so it can only flow from the shower head and cannot be changed to the top shower outlet.

It is located in the old part and if you are used to the Netherlands it can be a bit of a shock, but we enjoyed it so much. Riad Khabia is fantastic. Location is close to the Jewish Square, so it is within walking distance. Breakfast delicious and cleaned every day. On the day of departure we were given bags with breakfast items in them because we had to leave before breakfast. Staff helpful. In short, highly recommended

The hotel decoration is good, the staff is very warm and warm, but the room is very small, the distance between the bed and the door is 10 cm, but this is the old city, it looks like all the buildings are such an area. The hotel's breakfast can't be full. Two people gave 7 slices of bread. I hope that eggs or other foods will be added in the future. Friendly reminder: living in the old town, taxis are very greedy! Will ask you a lot of fares, will meet many liars on the road! A lot of beggars! Children beggars, women beggars, men beggars, old men beggars! Be careful! Don't talk to strangers! They will pester you! Don't ask for directions, or you will ask for money!! If you give less, they will scold you!!

This five-star hotel is hidden in the alleys of the ancient city. It is very charming and well located. You can overlook the ancient city from the rooftop. I was very satisfied with the upgraded room type. It was very comfortable to take a bath in a luxury hotel after coming out of the desert. I recommend it!

MMötley NüFCFirst off, the location was great, a lot of choice for breakfast, nice swimming pool and big/clean room. Most of the staff were actually very helpful, just the last night left a sour taste in my mouth. I would highly recommend this hotel, but believe some staff should know better what other parts of the hotel were doing and how to speak to guests. Technically, a solo traveller, but my friend was staying in another room. Every day we were given 1 large complementary bottle or water and 2 small bottles. However, on the final night, my friend received, but I didn’t. This was fine and I just politely mentioned it to reception. Bearing in mind there’s not many local shops to get water from, I was glad when I was told this would be rectified. 1 tiny bottle was left in my room, so I rang reception to explain, this is where things got a bit rude and I was surprised at having to ‘fight’ for a bottle of water - especially because this isn’t a cheap hotel. I was redirected to room service, who tried to charge me and then said it’s a housekeeping issue. Then spoke to reception again and then basically called me a liar when I said that I’d had free complimentary water every day. The lack of water didn’t really bother me, it was that I was sent around in circles and then rudely told I was wrong, even when I pointed out that I’d received water 3-days in a row. After about an hour trying, and very very thirsty, housekeeping - who were very friendly btw - dropped off 4 small bottles of water. If it were a housekeeping issue, I could’ve been told this from the start and there wouldn’t have been an issue. All that being said, I actually really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and in Marrakech itself.

FFarahWe had the pleasure of staying at Riad Jibril during our visit to Marrakech, and what a delightful experience it was! Our host, Iheb, truly deserves the title of a legend. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, he made our stay memorable. Whilr it may not be a 5-star hotel, it provided a unique and authentic Moroccan experience that exceeded our expectations. The riad itself, with its traditional architecture, was clean and inviting. The highlight was undoubtedly the serene terrace, a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. One evening, we indulged in sheesha on the terrace, a delightful experience that only cost us around 70 MAD. We also had the pleasure of dining on the terrace, where we enjoyed delicious tagines at a very reasonable price of 60 MAD each. The chef's culinary skills were truly impressive. The breakfast served each morning was traditional and homely too! What made our stay truly special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Iheb and the staff. We arrived as guests but left feeling like friends. We were even befriended by the two adorable resident kittens, Sofia, the long-haired tabby, and Leena, the ginger kitten. Their presence added an extra touch of charm to our stay. The location of Riad Jibril was perfect, and the camel in front of the money exchange served as an excellent landmark. The riad was on the opposite alleyway, second door, making it easy to find. We especially enjoyed its proximity to Kasbah, near Zeitun Cafe, a favorite spot of ours to visit at night. The lantern-lit terrace at the cafe provided majestic views that made our evenings even more memorable.

GGuest UserWhat an amazing experience it was to stay at this Riad. When we arrived, we were greeted by Karim, who welcomed us with a tour of the Riad and tea on the rooftop. He gave us a map and explained everything we needed to know about the area and getting to all the tourist sites. The Riad is in a perfect area... close to the Saadiam tombs and only a short walk to the main square. Taxis are easy to find and can easily drive right to the door of the Riad so it is in a brilliant location. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean, and the facilitates were amazing, we slept soundly every night and loved the room. Breakfast in the mornings was a treat also. You are greeted by a friendly staff member, and we loved the rooftop breakfast we got every morning. The spa is also wonderful. As a couple, we went for a package traditional Hammam, followed by a massage, and it was great. Again, the staff in the spa area, the facilities, and the overall experience were absolutely amazing. A special mention to every staff member in the Riad: The friendliest, most accommodating I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, especially Karim, Muhammad, Mustapha, and another gentleman whose name I have forgotten. They were so kind and helpful, greeting us with a smile every time we saw them and putting so much effort into making our stay fantastic. If you are thinking about booking this Riad, do it immediately. You will not regret it. When we return to Marrakech, we will be staying here again, and I will be recommending it to everyone I know. NNatasha Audina SI love the ambience, the decor and above all, the service that this riad has given from the moment we arrived until we checked out. The staff member that greeted us was very helpful and informative, and there were two night shift members who were incredibly helpful arranging our early breakfast (because we had to leave super early) and accompanied us to show the safest way to the square at the crack of the dawn. Even when we got lost on our way to the riad, the staff member also picked us up and helped us with our belongings. I would definitely recommend this riad to friends or family who want to make a trip to Morocco, especially Marrakech!

GGuest UserPlace is nice and clean, staff was also very helpful. However, do note that the address is not the actual address of the riad. I am travelling alone, and only booked this riad because it was right beside where my friends are staying. I only found out when I arrive that it is a 4-5mins walk from the actual address stated on trip.com. Which was very misleading and they should update the correct address. Kudos to the staff who was very nice to walk me out many times, as I prefer to have someone walk me in the early mornings, and at night. Provided water, and also very helpful and friendly. Another issue I had was that I arranged an airport transport to pick me from the airport, and was told the driver will be carrying the hotel sign with my name. I could not find the driver and panicked, again because I was travelling alone. I had to call the riad to realise that the driver was not carrying the correct sign, but another name similar to Riad Dar Massai, and did not have my name on it. Which was honestly impossible for me to recognise which is my driver. The sign should be made clear to guest first time in Marrakesh to just show ”RIAD DAR MASSAI + name of guest”. Finally, the aircon was great, but blankets were really thin. I know they provided extra blankets but I did not use it. So I am very cold at night. Apart from the few drawbacks, it is overall a beautifully designed Riad, I actually really loved the interior architecture, and the rooms are clean and spacious, showers are hot and nice.

MmoraleswI spent a couple of nights with my wife after doing a country tour. So, the trip was to relax. The place itself and owner were very polite, breakfast was great. But there is always a but. When I booked, the main thing was parking. The description showed parking and that is incorrect. You have to park outside the medina and pay for it (US$5-7/night), then you need to hire a cart person to take your luggage into the hotel (unless you don't kind carrying yourself) About US$2. Since the place was to sleep and relax for a couple night, unfortunately the open floor design spread any sound from the bottom floor to the entire bldg, so if someone wakes up at 6am, for sure you will wake up as well. The site shows handicap accessible. I am not sure if there are rooms on the bottom floor, but you need to climb stairs for the other rooms, no elevator, so, not sure about accessibility. So, again, great location, wife (decorator) loved the decoration, but in my case, I just wanted to sleep in and rests after 2 weeks driving and the noise in the AM unfortunately did not help much. It is a small place so, if you have a family gathering and can occupy the 7-8 rooms, you will love it.

11581108****The hotel is average. The main thing is that the rooms they were given had bad views. One was on the first floor of the hotel and you couldn't see anything. It was a bit noisy because it was connected to the restaurant. Another room was on the second floor with a small balcony facing the back road and there was nothing there either. The hotel's interior is quite beautiful, it's nice to take a walk, and the breakfast is quite rich.
