The best features of the hotel are the friendly staff (all are great without exception) and the direct access to the main road to airport which is about 15-20 minutes away. But there it ends. The hotel was grossly overpriced, the WiFi in my room so bad it cut in and out, I had to use mobile data, the bathroom floor was being pushed up by water from shower, the shower tray was cheap plastic and very slippy. The breakfast was very average and the least appealing of the three hotels I stayed in that week. The hotel lacked atmosphere, the dining room and foyer had terrible acoustics - high ceilings hard surfaces everywhere just a few people created a lot of noise. The hotel building was shoehorned into a tight space between other buildings such as a school and other commercial units. It is basically a tower block with a pool and gym on the roof next to the main road. Would I return? It’s average with only the great staff getting it up to 3 star rating, so only if there were no better options available.

This hostel is amazing! The volunteers are very helpful and smile the whole time. The building itself is a big house with several rooms. There are in total 4 clean showers and toilets, enough for everyone. The best place is their huge terrace. It's amazing: full of flowers, lounges, bar, tables, facilities for excersices,... The breakfast is included which is the best I ever had in a hostel. Many things are homemade and there is plenty of variety. I would definitely recommend this hostel to people who want to visit the beautiful city La Laguna, the national park Anaga, the capital Santa Cruz or if you need to take a flight in the North (but believe me that you will regret not staying more then 1 night).

Stayed for two nights whilst on vacation exploring Lanzarote, paying a pretty good price for a last-minute booking. The compact hotel is very well located near the centre of Arrecife, on the coast almost directly opposite the Castillo de San Gabriel. There is no parking available at the hotel, although there is a large public 24hr underground carpark near the Arrecife Gran Hotel about a 10-minute walk away (around 30€ for a day and a half). Check in was quick and friendly, despite a late-night arrival. My room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the back streets of Arrecife. The room was comfortable although the décor was perhaps a little old. Good WIFI, but the room had only one free power socket (as the fridge had been unplugged before I arrived). The bed was fairly comfortable, some noise from the street at night, but nothing too loud. My room didn’t have aircon, which wasn’t an issue in October, but maybe an issue in the summer? Breakfast was on the terrace at the top of the hotel giving really good views; and a good selection to food choose from. Overall, a well located hotel to explore Arrecife and the surrounding area, but given the limited facilities at the hotel and lack of parking maybe better for short stays!

My Mum and I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for 4 nights as part of her birthday celebration and it was perfect! The rooms are so comfortable and the bedding is sublime! The team who work there are so fantastic - nothing is too much trouble and ever so helpful. There are beautiful towels by the pool which don’t slip down and you get two as standard so not everything is wet when you get out! There is even suncream at the pool so you don’t have to bring your own! Wifi is brilliant throughout the hotel. Cocktails are beautiful, about 17-18 euros each but worth every penny! Absolutely delicious. My only criticism was the lack of food choices in the hotel by the pool - not a huge amount to choose from, very fish based (I don’t eat fish) and the service was a little slow for drinks but that could be the time of year. But there was fabulous popcorn cones and fruit kebabs which were shared in the morning which was great. When planning you’re trip, just be aware that there is nothing around without a taxi from this hotel - there’s some lovely local places nearby but you will need to get in a taxi. The beach area is incredibly well set up - the little train takes you there, there’s a full bar and restaurant, toilets, suncream and sun loungers. Overall it was a brilliant stay and would recommend the hotel for sure - would be even better once the refurbishments are done and there are a few more pools and the restaurant with a view is open again! The hotel is very well placed. The staff is very attentive and friendly and everything is very clean. I only had breakfast at the hotel and the truth is that they had a wide assortment of products to eat. Regarding the pool, it is very small and in the area where it is located there is not even space for a small bar that serves drinks or snacks. You had to get the drinks out of a vending machine. Nobody controls the pool area so anything can happen and not exactly good. It did not occur to me to take photos of the hotel. The quality/price does not compensate me. There are hotels of the same category in the area with better facilities

I spent a night at the Adonis Plaza last week before boarding a cruise and am currently back at the hotel for a night at the end of the cruise before flying home tomorrow. Last week was a pleasant stay in a quiet, clean room (number 407) with comfortable bed and nice/modern bathroom. Today is sadly a different experience. I was told my room would be ready at 2pm; the time came and went and the room still wasn't ready so the receptionist - who was very helpful - said she would give me a different room (number 614). Similarly equipped to the room I had last week unfortunately this has a connecting door to the adjacent room and the noise is terrible! I can hear every word spoken next door as loud as if the people were in my room. Also, despite being on the sixth floor, there is a lot of noise from the street outside. The rooms with connecting doors are only suitable for families not for people who don't want to have to listen to everything said by the guests next door. Sadly, I would not stay at the hotel again which is a shame as the staff are very pleasant and the hotel is well located for the cruise port.

Excellent location, one side is the port and other side is the beach. Near Santa Catalina square with many restaurants and cafes. Negative is the location of the Reception. First floor and use of stairs. Elevator is not so accessible

The restaurant has been renamed and revamped. The gym is brilliant and the air conditioning was very welcome by the end of my workout. The wicker furniture on the Ocean Breeze Terrace needs replacing but does not detract from the overall experience. Some of the entertainment on the Ocean Breeze leaves a lot to be desired as mentioned by a lot of our family and friends. The gardens were the perfect place to hold our Vow Renewal Ceremony and the staff were utterly brilliant, friendly and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our Vow Renewal or a better holiday. Many of our guests were crying when they had to go home. The pool is inviting and the pool activities were great to watch and take part in.

First visit to a Hard Rock Hotel and it met my expectations. Hotel is in a small resort, which we were aware of so we had a hired car for the duration of our stay allowing us to visit bigger resorts as and whenever we wanted. Had to pay €12 per day to use hotel car park. We usually stay in 5* at Playa Del Duque and have never had to pay to park. HRH is a money spinner, we were half board and found drinks were expensive. Lunch at Constant Grind also expensive albeit really great quality. Lots of entertainment throughout the day and evening, some better than others. Room was great - we were in a gold suite and can’t really fault it. Breakfast and dinner in the buffet was manic! Very very busy and like a school canteen, food was generally of good quality, however in the evening it wasn’t a relaxing and enjoyable experience. It was a case of eat and leave as soon as possible. Would I return? Probably not, however it seems lots of guests were returning customers.

You couldn’t fault this hotel. Modern centrally located with good staff and modern noise proof rooms with safe, decent sized fridge for complimentary water plus your own supplies. The shower was probably the most powerful I’ve had. The toilet room a little small. Bed was huge and comfortable and there was wireless phone charging on both sides. Up top there was a rooftop pool and bar which is a real feature. I ventured into the pool even though it was freezing. Nice to stand and look at the cruise ships. The rooftop bar is ran independently of the hotel so no charging to room. The drinks were reasonable there. WiFi worked well throughout. We did not eat at the hotel though could have pre-booked breakfast for €15 each. Checkout at midday and overall the room rate was good value for money.

If you're a wheelchair user, please make sure to let the hotel know with plenty of notice. I use a wheelchair that doesn't fold and I couldn't get into my room without taking the wheels off as there's a wardrobe immediately as you enter the room. Fortunately, I am able to walk and only use my chair for longer distances.l, but for others, this could be a real issue. We stayed in that room for one night and they were happy enough to swap me into a different room in the morning. That first night was awful. There were concerning dips in the floor and the noise from being next to the ocean was so loud, plus the wind rattles the windows, it sounded like I was lost at sea. The receptionist was lovely and upgraded us to a family room, no issues, though I hope for the sake of others that there are double rooms available that are more accessible, not just family rooms. The family room was luckily on the other side, so it was totally silent. The breakfasts were quite stale and the milk for the cereal was warm so stuck with the crepes every morning. We did have dinner here one evening but unfortunately, when I got to the dessert stand, there was a cockroach crawling on the food. They were very apologetic and gave both of us a glass of wine as an apology, but then still had to pay full price on the meals. Fortunately, we did bring an extension cord as there weren't many sockets and not all of them even worked. There were no ceiling lights, just plug in lamps, which made it quite dim at night. The pool is barely heated but it takes a few seconds for your body to acclimatise. The mattress is quite firm and I found the pillows were far too high. Also beware that the hotel is on a VERY steep hill. Luckily, I can actually walk quite well in hot weather but I was definitely out of breath when I got from the bottom of the hill to the hotel. The WiFi is awful and I ended up just using my data. The zoo is well worth visiting though and it's a very short distance away. As you come into the hotel, it's got a huge lovely lobby which was lovely to sit in, so it really surprised me how poor everything else was. I have no ill intentions and the staff were lovely but I have to be honest.

This hotel was not to our taste. Decor is dark and dreary. Generally it is all style over substance. Service on the two days we spent here was not great. There seemed to be staff training going on - student hospitality interns at reception, restaurant and rooftop bar. Breakfast was disappointing. The hot buffet was cold and the queue for the only coffee machine was frustrating. The saving grace is the roof top bar which was very pleasant and the food was nice. Miriam was a great host albeit working with limited staff resources. Brava to her.

Nice and clean and great location. Street it is on felt a little dark and we were wary walking down it at night. Only downside was noise levels , everything seemed to echo so we could hear doors slamming, people walking and talking all night, shower from room upstairs etc Would recommend especially for price and value.

I stayed nine nights at SENTIDO Æquora Lanzarote Suites with my husband, our three children (ages 16, 14, and 8), my sister's family (including her children, ages 2 and 1), and our dad. We usually opt for all-inclusive stays in Playa de Los Pocillos annually but have never visited this hotel. We were assigned three junior suites: two on the ground floor near the splash pool and one on the first floor (18 steps up) for my elderly dad and son. I would rate this hotel three out of five stars. This review provides an honest account of our experience. Check-in Experience When we arrived at 8 pm, there was only one staff member at the front desk handling check-ins, so we had to wait in line. The lobby was impeccably clean, bright, and welcoming. The staff member was polite but distracted, frequently interrupted by phone calls and colleagues needing assistance. Soledad, his boss, intervened several times and seemed dissatisfied with his performance. At one point, he disappeared into the back office for over 5 minutes, disappointing after a long day of travelling. Overall, the check-in experience was not very welcoming, and we were underwhelmed when we finally reached our rooms. Room Quality The rooms were excellent—extremely spacious and perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable, and daily housekeeper service was available. At check-in, we could opt for less frequent housekeeper service if desired. Free Wi-Fi was available in all rooms. However, the air conditioning was not enormously powerful, and the room could have been cooler. I have experienced better air conditioning in other hotels. The room had two sleeping areas, ideal for giving our older son his space. The main downside was the communal open bathroom area, which offered no privacy for toilet use or showers. I had to ask my son to leave the room while showering since dressing had to happen in the open. While we managed, the lack of privacy in the bathroom would not be suitable for travelling with friends or children's friends. It was an unusual setup I had never encountered in a hotel. Customer Service The animation staff at the hotel were exceptional. They tirelessly provided entertainment from early morning until late evening. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the kid’s club and especially loved the mini disco. Enes, who ran the kid’s club, was fantastic. He went above and beyond to ensure all the children had a wonderful time. We are grateful for his efforts and the enjoyable experience he created for our kids. Sadly, the remaining staff significantly impacted my rating of this resort. The rudest staff I have encountered in all my years of travelling. No staff member stood out for their friendliness or effort to enhance our experience. Many were rude and diminished our experience. The resort's size affected the staff, making guests a low priority. It was unusual and unlike any other experience, I have had. On the third night, at the Nautilus Lounge Bar & Terrace, we enjoyed our eve

Fading. Could be 5 stars but is only 3.5. The staff are nice but the main reason we used to stay here was the pool. However that now does not open until 12..or later some days and it closes at 7pm. Therefore on arrival it was closed and on check out day you cannot use it at all. The bar has no draught beer...just a few bottles and closes at 4 pm. Many people were trying to order during those times but nobody was there to take their orders. Sat and Sun there were 30 people plus on the roof until 8pm and wanted to spend their money but could not! Madness. Some days there was a life guard sitting by an empty pool and other days when the pool was busy..no lifeguard. The Aircon works but is noisy. The TV is an antique and most channels do not work. There was a heatwave but you get one free water each on day one but no more than that even if you pay for 7 or 14 nights. Wifi works but you have to login everyday. Hotel is in a great place but Las Palmas is noisy, dusty and a little fragrant at times! If the main company, Eurostars would look afresh here and spend some money on a refresh then this could be a 5 star. Until then we will stay elsewhere, most probably.

Nice and quiet hotel

This hotel is amazing! Just finished our holiday here & we have had a brilliant time! The hotel is very clean, swimming pools are amazing, food is fantastic with a huge variety. We went all inclusive and it was well worth. Do not listen to the bad reviews on this hotel! The only negative is that the tea and coffee in the rooms is not refilled everyday & the bathroom bin was not always emptied. Only small things. The staff are so lovely and work so very hard. Alex on the entertainment was fantastic and so enthusiastic and Sebitas on the waiting staff was so lovely and worked so very hard. If you are looking for a busier area this is not the place, however WE LOVED IT & will be back!!!!

Stayed here for a week in December and it certainly wasn’t the hotel we were expecting it’s meant to be a 4* but really it’s only a 2* pushing to a 3*. Room in block 5 and really small, food in the main restaurant was cold had to heat most things up in the microwave which wasn’t ideal. Swimming pool was meant to be a heated pool in winter but it was ice cold you couldn’t even get into it which wasn’t good with two teenagers with us. The only positive things I have to say about this hotel is the staff they’re so friendly and helpful, when we booked this hotel in January 2024 it was called Be live experience and reviews were great but since it’s been bought over and a name change it’s definitely went down hill. Everyone we spoke with have all said they’d never book this hotel again even though some of the couples had be going to this hotel for years but they’re definitely not going back again due to the drop in standards, I for one will not book this hotel again only upside is it’s in a great location and on the beach front but so are a few other hotels which I will book in the future.

Nice and quiet hotel

Very suitable for parent-child vacation, the hotel has arranged a lot of programs from morning to night. The design details of the hotel are super beautiful and ubiquitous, perfect African style. There are 9 swimming pools, you can definitely find the place you want to lie down and relax. There is a long row of shopping festivals and small restaurants at the entrance of the hotel. The Tujiu restaurant is the most authentic and delicious. The Chinese boss behind the scenes is super enthusiastic about us every time we eat After sending a large glass of wine, take a 7-minute taxi ride from the center of the dunes

It was a surprisingly nice hotel and it exceeds my expectation to be honest. I booked two nights to stay in the Las Palmas city centre with easy access to Santa Catalina and Playa de Las Canteras. I did not expect fancy room, mega facilities, etc, but just needed a clean room for my stay. However, on arrival, the friendly and welcoming staff at reception allowed me to check in even before standard check in hour. The hotel was clean, new and refresh for me. The room was very new and very clean, with full kitchen facilities. You can cook small meals or make some snack during your stay if you like. It has a balcony with view of small alley/ narrow street of Las Palmas. There are also social working/ meeting space, laundry, sauna, gym facilities in the basement, which I did not have time to use. The air conditioning in the room is a plus and make you feel very cool and comfortable in hot weather. The hotel is in a very convenient place, with plenty of restaurants, bank/ A** and shops nearby. Walking to the beach is under 5 minutes with more activities to offer. For public transport, Santa Catalina bus station is around 5 minutes away, where you can get buses to the airport, south part of the island and San Telmo Bus Station which is near the historical centre. Overall, I like this hotel and would certainly recommend it to you if you would like to stay in Las Palmas. Everything is so convenient and yet it was not noisy at night, as I had a very good sleep.

Modern hotel set on a side street just 100m from the excellent beach & promenade. We stated 7 nights on a bed & breakfast basis. The room was large with very nice bathroom and included tea/coffee facilities, air con and safe. The double bed was two large singles together which is now unfortunately more common throughout Europe but we loved the crisp white cotton sheets and the two different types of pillow. Our room was on the 5th floor to the front over looking the street but we had minimal noise. The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas and we had fresh towels each day. There was a sun terrace on the top floor with modern sun loungers available. Breakfast was sufficient with an acceptable level of choice but I would have liked the three hot choices to be cooked more often as they can sit in a hot tray for a prolonged period. All of the staff were excellent in manner and efficiency. The new shopping centre at the end of the promenade is within walking distance and there is a second shopping centre available 1000m at the opposite end of the hotel street from the beach where the cruise liners dock. This a great value hotel in an outstanding location with fantastic access to the promenade (flat location) and beach, highly recommended for a winter break, we shall return.

I have stayed at the AxelBeach numerous times, but sadly the refurbishment of the rooms means this was my last time. The refurbished rooms are oppressive and dingy – all the walls have been covered in a dark, depressing wallpaper, which is only broken up by white, cold lights. The stone floors have been covered with black linoleum, which looks depressing and dirty. The refurbishment is being done as cheaply as possible, leaving the colourful kitchen tiles intact and the bathroom mostly untouched. For some bizarre reason AstroTurf has been placed on the balcony floors. They have taken what used to be cheap-ish beach hotel rooms and given them a morgue/sauna makeover. This is really frustrating as, otherwise, the place remains pleasant – the pool is still great, the staff are lovely (Kevin, the receptionist, deserves a particular shout-out) and the gym has been re-done really well. The location is super handy as well.

Great choice for solo travelers amazing breakfast kind and friendly staff they speak very well English and are very kind to answer questions cleaning is amazing they need a rise for that job! I will definitely chose again The only thing could be improved was noice cancelling in the rooms coming from traffic outside and then having a bath rope also was missing
