The room is amazing, the location is even better. Its iust 2 mins walk from the bus or metro. The receptionist is very welcome and is great that we are able to check in early as well. The room is filled with full facility and very cozy
Hi! I recently stayed at your hotel and had such a pleasant experience. The ambience was amazing, the room had a great view, and everything felt so fresh and clean. The AC worked perfectly, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was spotless. I really appreciated the nice ventilation and the calm, refreshing smell in the room.
The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. I even found myself taking extra pictures because the place was just that beautiful! Thank you for such a wonderful stay I’d definitely love to come back.

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all friendly. The bathroom even had a bathtub, so I enjoyed a relaxing bath. The bed was comfortable, the view was beautiful, and I was completely satisfied. The hotel was also filled with Seo's works, which was truly stunning. If I stay in Cologne again, I'd definitely book here again.
Good.
◎ Breakfast bread is quite delicious.
◯ Check-in can be smoothly done by pre-registration.
◯ Restaurant bar of series hotel is nearby.
I'm sorry.
△ There are few vegetables for breakfast.
△ The rooms are dusty.
Although it was cleaned once a day, only one pair of towels were prepared. No.
The hotel location is excellent, right next to the train station. However I had to change 3 rooms as the heating wasn't working properly and there were no staff to attend so I had to keep going up and down to reception to take photos and show them. Also no kettle in the room or complimentary coffee. I was told these were only offered to 'executive' bookings, which is very disappointing as this is pretty much expected these days. Other than that the hotel was fine: clean, safe, spacious, not noisy.
The room equipment is very complete, because there is a small food bar, the kitchen utensils are very abundant, you can cook your own food, there is a supermarket nearby, and there is no problem purchasing ingredients and daily necessities. The restaurant has a variety of choices.
Long-term residents need to clean their own rooms, and spare parts can be obtained from the counter staff.
The staff is also very kind and suitable for short-term rentals or family stays. Convenient transportation to the subway station within about 7-8 minutes. There is also a market in the Holiday City Hall Square to stroll around.
Only ㄧ I hope that what can be improved is that the smell of the toilet drainage hole is more uncomfortable.

Iichikokiku⭐ Hotel Review: Merian Hotel, Cologne
I stayed at Merian Hotel in Cologne, and I must say — the location and price were unbeatable!
📍 Perfect Location
The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Cologne Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) and Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom). It’s incredibly convenient if you’re traveling by train or planning to explore the old town on foot. You can easily walk to shops, restaurants, and major attractions in under 10 minutes.
💰 Excellent Value for Money
For such a prime central location, the room rate was very affordable. It’s rare to find a hotel this close to the station and city center at such a low price. The room was basic but clean, and included breakfast, which made it an even better deal.
🛏️ Room Tips
Rooms facing the street or train station might get a bit noisy, so I recommend asking for a quiet room facing the courtyard if you’re a light sleeper.
GGuest UserI had a lovely stay at this hotel. The receptionist was very lovely each time I spoke with them and the room was clean . The location is very convenient, in the city centre and close to the train station, you have lots of shops and restaurants near by
It could definitely do with some improvements, it's quite old and there are many stains on the carpets.
Overall a good experience, I would recommend

AAnonymous UserThe sanitary conditions are really average, the equipment is quite old, one sauna is broken and the other is quite old. These can be tolerated, but the sound insulation is too poor!
There happened to be a neighbor living next door, who didn't sleep for a few days and started snoring at around 5 pm for two consecutive nights. Whether in the afternoon or at night, the snoring was deafening! We could hear it clearly in our room!
There are some good points, the waiter's attitude is okay, and the breakfast is also okay. Fortunately, the price is not too expensive.
But the platform gives 4.5, which is really high! 4 points at most. It can't be higher.
WWucuncunIt is beautifully renovated recently and the room is extremely comfortable. However, some staff appeared not well trained. There are a cleaner kept to open my door while I was in the room and I didn't know if he do the same while I was not there. Once he caught me just out of shower. It is really disturbing?
Jjoo youn jungMy children wanted to have chocolate on Easter morning. My kids really wanted it, so I asked a male room cleaner for an Easter rabit chocolate, but I don't know the name. After wait a few minutes and then he got me one. he was so kind and thankful, but I couldn't tip him because i didn't have the cash. Please pass this massage on to him. Thank you very much.
GGuest UserThe room was very clean, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to downtown, which was super convenient. The only downside was the absence of a refrigerator or minibar, which I would have expected from a 4-star hotel. Other than that, everything was great!
GGuest UserWhen I was checking in, I was a little worried the staff would be unable to speak English. However the two receptionists who helped me were perfectly fluent and answered any questions I had. I did unfortunately have to pay a city tax on top of my room, but it wasn’t expensive and this is a common thing in most hotels in Europe.
The room itself was pretty decent and had plenty of space for my suitcase and to walk around. The en-suite was great and had good towels and hot shower. The bed was comfy with a good mattress and duvet wise, but the pillows were a bit limp and didn’t have a lot in them. I spoke to another member of staff who spoke little English, who said he’d look and bring one to my room, but this never happened. Whatever the case, still had a good sleep, would have better with extra head comfort.
As for breakfast, there was a great variety of choice from fry-up food (bacon, sausages, eggs) to continental pastries and drinks. I would say the only downside was there was not enough for fruit, as there was only a few apples and plates of sliced oranges. Would have been better if there was more to choose fruit wise, but everything else was great and was a good fuel up for the day in Cologne.
When checking out, they also allowed me to place my luggage and bags in their storage room with zero charge which is great when you’re exploring for the day and have a later departure time.
Overall, if you’re in Cologne for a day (like me) or two, this place is a great option and I would stay here again!
GGuest UserVery good boss and reception, the stay was very smooth, the boss also gave instructions on parking and shopping, reminded that weekend inconvenience, prepare in advance, very good experience, recommend to Dousedov business travel or home accommodation
GGuest UserWe love everything about limehome from location, cleanliness and service, especially the kitchen has everything we needed, my kids was so happy to walk around the area it’s has a lot of shops and restaurants around here and we will go there again 👍 and we will give it 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
