Hi! I recently stayed at your hotel and had such a pleasant experience. The ambience was amazing, the room had a great view, and everything felt so fresh and clean. The AC worked perfectly, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was spotless. I really appreciated the nice ventilation and the calm, refreshing smell in the room. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. I even found myself taking extra pictures because the place was just that beautiful! Thank you for such a wonderful stay I’d definitely love to come back.

Wow we couldn’t believe how good a hotel it was. Clean, tidy, great rooms and location, excellent staff, a great vibe to the place. I will stay there again if I return to Wuppertal and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Park at the hotel is cheaper than the bus station. They were super dog friendly. Everything was clean. Location is excellent.

No any tea, coffee and mug inside the room; the reception lady is quite cold to refuse to check in at 12:00 inspite I discussed with her politely, just repeated to check at 15:00 ; the worst thing is I cant park my car inside the hotel garage or parking lots, but in the public one, then I need walk 10 minutes to take my heavy luggages... Room is quite small too Honest to say, the breakfast is quite good

Absolutely recommendable! we got a nice size room on 7th floor to the rear (overlooking the train station was not an issue for us since an overnighter only and we had only 200mtr to walk for our Dinner Yes, it is next to the train station and together with 2 other hotels. but can't hear anything. We choose this one because it offered best price and 2 breaky includ the room price. for us travelling by car was also convenient to drive to the hotel and park the car very close by

This hotel was the perfect base for exploring Cologne and made for a relaxing stay with its modern and quiet location. This hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the major attractions in Cologne and many good restaurants. It is not far from the Cologne Cathedral, Hay Market and Old Market and the hotel is a stone's throw to the chocolate museum. The room was nicely appointed and very trendy. It had a mini fridge, coffee/tea station with a variety of tea, complimentary sparkling water, a couple of chairs, a long counter for the sink/desk and a large TV. There is enough lighting for the room and plenty of counter space for our things but we only had an outlet on one side of the bed. The shower was very nice with good water pressure and individual bath products for body wash, shampoo and conditioner. We aren't sold on the scent but felt very clean afterwards. There is a window separating the bathroom from the rest of the room that is painted over but one of the previous guests had made a peephole which was not an issue for us. Staff were friendly and helpful at this hotel. Check in was smooth and they gave us some chocolate and three cards. They did not explain the cards to us but it turns out they can get a complimentary coffee, beer, wine or soft drink at the bar - we did not realize this until the next day but they did allow us to take some fritz cola for the road. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of little unexpected surprises like the herb cream cheese for bread, fresh egg salad, and wild garlic cheese. They had a good selection of hot items with sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, meatballs, hash browns, mushrooms and some vegetable balls. The cold items were good too with a variety of deli meats, cheeses, a muesli/yogurt bowl station. They had some juices, loose leaf teas and coffee machines. We didn't book for amenities but we were surprised with what the hotel offered. They have a rooftop terrace which gives a pretty good view of the surrounding area, a lobby bar where you can relax, a fitness room and a sauna. They also have a welcome station that they stock with fresh fruit, pastries and flavoured water that you can drop in at any time. The art side of the hotel was interesting with a nice open layout in the lobby area that let in lots of lighting and some nice decor throughout the hotel. The hotel has a safe and secure underground parking garage that cost 25 euros for the night when we stayed. Only issue we had with the garage is that it is a bit tight down there and it was tricky to get out because someone chose to park in the area where cars can turnaround. This is a good hotel in a good area and we felt the price was good for our budget when we stayed in Cologne.

Perfect location to visit the Christmas Market. Online check in possibility is convenient but only if the machine to give out the key card works properly. We had to go to the receptionist after errors on the screen so it did not save us time. There was no water cooker in the room but this was solved by the reception. Be careful though when pouring it tends to leak heavily and I got boiling water on my leg. In the room above us were children running around and screaming which made the experience less enjoyable but this is not something the hotel can be held responsible for and is lack of supervision by the parents.

Hotel has great location and short distance to the downtown are, while all amenities are new. Not much to say than that you should pay attention with your room key to keep away from your phone to prevent making it inactive. Great bed, slept well and shower also hot and strong water flow.

The room is clean and tidy, with a good location in the city center. The bathroom and toilet are separated into wet and dry areas. The space is spacious. The family room can accommodate 4 people (2 children). It is very cost-effective. I like it.

We felt really comfortable; everyone was super nice, from the concierge to the service staff and reception. It was about a 5-8 minute walk from the main train station and easy to find. The breakfast was delicious; they kept refilling it, even right before closing time. The hotel's dog, Flora, did the best job :-) The room was very nice and clean!!! Beautiful courtyard and delicious gins at the bar. This is now our favorite hotel in Dortmund. We highly recommend it.

GGuest UserGreat location. Clean and tidy room- worth the price. However, had the most astonishing experience in my life with a male receptionist called Sahsa Grass. Room check in time 15:00. I arrive around 14:20 (I'm yet to have a say in the DB schedule). The front door was closed. Ring the bell. A man opens the door and looks at me like ”wth do you want?”. No hello, no welcome and no smile. Me: *smile brightly to compensate for his unenthusiastic welcome* Hi, I have a booking here. Sasha: There are no bookings till 3. Me: I know. That's fine. I can just wait in the waiting area. *smile* Sasha: This is not a waiting place, THIS IS A HOTEL. Me: Hotels have waiting areas (lobbies). *pointing at the lobby* what is that for then? Sasha: it's for guests. Me: what am I then? Sasha: you're only a guest from 3pm. * I was dumbfounded at this point. Is he actually being serious right now* Sasha: I'm alone here, I have to go up and down. I can't let you wait inside. Me: *dump my luggage on the landing infront of the door* I'll stay here then. *NB temperature outside over 35°C* *Sasha shrugs and closes the door* Around 5- 10 minutes later I ring the bell again and ask for a refund. There was absolutely no way I could stay in a place where I was treated this poorly. Sasha: it's not possible. You are free to go anywhere, no one's stopping you. But no refund since it is your decision to leave. Me: the only reason I'm leaving is because I'm not happy with your customer service! *Sasha repeats some of the things he said previously. And raises his voice. I raise mine above his.* Me: You don't get to speak to me that way. No one does. *pull out my phone to record this incident. Tries to shut the door on my face. I keep my foot. He still pushes it against me- thus, officially physically assaulting. A few minutes later another guest enters the hotel. I tell him what had just happened. He is shocked. Asks me to come in and speaks to Sasha on my behalf. Sasha repeats the same. The guest lets me wait in his room- note, I was parched and visibly drenched in sweat in the heat. The next receptionist Jasmine takes over shortly afterwards calls in to inform my room is ready at around 2:45. She was profusely apologetic for her colleague's behaviour and escalates to the owner. NOTE: SASHA WAS ACTING LIKE THE OWNER but the owner is a lovely gentleman of Chinese ethnic origins. He comes down the following morning and profusely apologises for my experience. Offers a full refund, free breakfast and a bag of brownies. I only accepted the latter as not to hurt his feelings and tell him it's my dignity that was injured (these things can't compensate for that). He says Sasha has previous experience as a receptionist and he's surprised by his behaviour. If this were to recur he would be sacked. But now looking at previou reviews looks like I'm not the first. Don't let this put you off though. I would have given a 5 out of 5 (exceeded my expectations for the price) if not for Sasha Grass (photo attached). Leaving this note as no guest deserves a holiday ruined and no employer deserves a business ruined because of a sorry excuse of a man like this.

WWucuncunIt is beautifully renovated recently and the room is extremely comfortable. However, some staff appeared not well trained. There are a cleaner kept to open my door while I was in the room and I didn't know if he do the same while I was not there. Once he caught me just out of shower. It is really disturbing?

AAlexanderWhen I was checking in, I was a little worried the staff would be unable to speak English. However the two receptionists who helped me were perfectly fluent and answered any questions I had. I did unfortunately have to pay a city tax on top of my room, but it wasn’t expensive and this is a common thing in most hotels in Europe. The room itself was pretty decent and had plenty of space for my suitcase and to walk around. The en-suite was great and had good towels and hot shower. The bed was comfy with a good mattress and duvet wise, but the pillows were a bit limp and didn’t have a lot in them. I spoke to another member of staff who spoke little English, who said he’d look and bring one to my room, but this never happened. Whatever the case, still had a good sleep, would have better with extra head comfort. As for breakfast, there was a great variety of choice from fry-up food (bacon, sausages, eggs) to continental pastries and drinks. I would say the only downside was there was not enough for fruit, as there was only a few apples and plates of sliced oranges. Would have been better if there was more to choose fruit wise, but everything else was great and was a good fuel up for the day in Cologne. When checking out, they also allowed me to place my luggage and bags in their storage room with zero charge which is great when you’re exploring for the day and have a later departure time. Overall, if you’re in Cologne for a day (like me) or two, this place is a great option and I would stay here again!
