The hotel is located away from the busy city centre in a quiet residential area. But this should not matter to tourists, since the main attractions are outside the city anyway. The rooms have been renovated recently, although the carpet in the corridor is showing its age. Housekeeping do a good job tidying up the room every day. The hotel uses WeChat to confirm the pick up from the airport, which is a nice touch. All in, a pleasant stay.

First of all, the whole experience is okay. Beds are okay, atmosphere is good, everything you need is almost provided, and there is a washing machine! But, we booked for one suite room, which includes one 1.8m wide double bed, and 2 double bed (1.35m). So with the descriptions, we are expecting 3 double beds. But no, it appears to be a 1.5m wide double bed, and 2 single beds. We tried to communicate with the receiption, but she didnt give a good explanation. She said it is a 1.35m wide double bed at first, but then after we verify it is a 1.2m single bed, she said this is the app translation issue. And the is just a brief of what we have argued. Basically she try to deny its their problem but the app's problem. So in the end, we have no choice but to booked for another single room. She did compensate with an offer to drive us back to the train station, but we still paid for an extra room. So if anyone booking this hotel should call them in advance to confirm the bed size. In addition, the extra single room we paid, some corner is very dirty.

This is a really charming inn. The pool is about 1.4m deep and 20m long – perfect for a relaxing swim or just splashing around. During check-in, I noticed quite a few international guests who'd booked via online platforms. I imagine the existing meals might not entirely suit their palate. My suggestion to the owner would be to consider stocking some frozen croissant dough. Baking these fresh in the morning would undoubtedly garner much more positive feedback from international guests than the current offering of small buns.

We definitely recommend this place! The hotel is romantic and offers a complete Chinese experience. We stayed for 4 nights. The owners are very kind and will help you with your day-to-day itinerary if you want to visit the famous Zhangjiajie mountains. They also offered us fresh fruit! If you don't speak Chinese, they will communicate via translation apps. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious. It had a lovely view at the garden from the balcony. Breakfast is Chinese style, simple but tasty. It is served from the rooftop with a stunning view on the Zhangjiajie mountains! There was also a possibility to use the washing machines. The hotel was just 7 minutes by car from the famous Zhangjiajie (Avatar) mountains and only a 7 minutes walk from the cosy city centre.

The receptionist lady is very friendly and passionates the moment we touched down from the taxi，She quickly came to help carry the luggage . She would help you the strategy of routes to travel the famous Wulingyuan. She would recommend you a good tour guide with rmb200 per day. I nearly got rmb $300 per day from the guide at tian men Shan. The wulinyuan guide was doing her job well by accompanying us from 10am till 7pm. She would recommend you the better routes to avoid crowds. For this hotel, you can use the washing machine and dryer for free, you may notify the receptionist or security guard if you no time to collect the clothes. You can get them to pass you the bucket and herbal packs to soak your feet for free after one tiring day. The breakfast is good enough and value the money for the stay. You may walk out from hotel to enjoy the road site stall that selling fruits . Can enjoy foot massage along the way , not that professional but acceptable with rmb88 for 60 minute’s.

The ancient town is huge and easy to get lost in, and it can be difficult to access the main road. However, this accommodation is conveniently located near the main road, making it easy to find. The room offers stunning panoramic views from the balcony, and the soundproofing is excellent — even when things are lively outside, you can’t hear a thing. The town has a noise curfew at 11:30 pm, so it’s peaceful at night. The owner is incredibly welcoming and helped me with navigation, booking a taxi, and arranging a stage show. She was so personable that I felt like I’d made a great friend. I would happily stay here again. 古镇很大，很容易迷路，而且去主干道比较麻烦。不过，这家住宿靠近主干道，很容易找到。房间有绝美的全景阳台景色，隔音效果特别好，即使外面很热闹，也听不到一点声音。古镇晚上 11:30 有噪音宵禁，所以夜里很安静。老板娘非常热情，还帮我导航、叫出租车、预订演出，非常贴心，让我感觉像交了一个好朋友。我一定会再来住

Our stay at Wenxi Lanyue Homestay was perfect, the rooms were clean and spacious and the view from the balcony was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful, helping us arrange tickets for the show and a car to the airport. Furong ancient town has been nothing short of amazing and we‘ll definitely be back.

Lovely new hotel that opened in 2023. Managed by Lily and her husband. Lily was super helpful with how to navigate the place, what to see, where to eat. However, if you don’t speak Chinese, it may be a little difficult. But nothing a translator app can’t help you with. Also, they provided a free transfer to the railway station when we departed. On arrival at the railway station, we just took a cab to the ancient town for CNY20. The very helpful taxi driver kindly called the hotel for us and someone from the hotel came to pick us up at the entry gate to the ancient town where the taxi driver dropped us. The hotel is still new, clean and in a great location with a fantastic river view and view of the Tuwang Bridge. I would stay there again. And Lily is hospitable, patient and kind.

We enjoyed our stay at Hetianwan Inn a lot. The staff was super nice and helpful. We got free water everyday when we left or came back to the hotel. The staff was able to answer all our questions regarding how to get to the Nationalpark, the hikes etc. We asked for restaurant recommendations and were even guided to the restaurant by them.

Friendly service with airport/train pickup included. Family owned establishment, with convenient location to the Tianmenshan attraction as well as a shuttle nearby to Zhangjiejie Forest Park. Clean rooms, and standard breakfast served. Detailed explanation and guides for the parks and best routes. Good value and pleasant stay! You can also try on some traditional clothing, and there is a deck with views.
