If you're confused or dont know where to dtay, BOOK THIS!! 😍 Rooms: There were 5 of us friends and we had a family room and executive/superior room. Both were clean incuding the other hotel areas. Service: Best part for us was service! 😍 The reception staff especially Guo and May and the hotel owner were all so helpful, responsive and helped us plan our itinerary. Location: Cannot recommend this hotel enough, we had a great time! Location was so close to Baofeng lake and the east gate to national park. Half hour to 72 Towers and train station. Amneties: breakfast had limited options for vegetarian but we knew that and it was not a massive deal for us. We used the laundary room which was pretty easy and they have plenty of umbrellas for rainy days. 10/10 would highly recommend

The hotel is 3 to 5 minutes away from Tianmen Cable Way. Making it an excellent place to stay if you are heading to Mt. Tianmen. The room is comfortable and they offer a free ride service to the train station for you to depart to your next destination. Apart from that, there is few chinese restaurants and convenience stalls beside the hotel!

A wonderful hotel! I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the hotel staff for their warmth, hospitality, and assistance in organizing our trip! 1. We were met at the airport and taken to the train station on a free comfortable transfer. 2. There is a free transfer to the National Park there and back. 3. Delicious breakfast: steamed buns, jiaozi, eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables - and all this with a stunning view of the mountains! 4. The territory of a hotel is much larger than it looks on the photo, very well-groomed and interesting. I recommend to plan 1 day to just relax at the hotel! 5. The hotel has a small cute pool with a view of the mountains. 6. The hotel staff confidently speaks English and helped us with literally every little thing! They bought tickets, planned every day of our stay, helped with routes and gave their recommendations. They answered in the chat literally instantly on any question! They were worried and wrote to us if we stayed somewhere late. 7. Free tea tasting of local tea in English was very interesting! You can buy local tea and pottery in the store. 8. During our stay, we counted 3 dogs, 7 cats, 3 kittens and 2 puppies that live on the territory of the hotel. All animals are very friendly and gave this place an incredibly warm and homely atmosphere. 9. Laundry is free, we used it several times, everything is great! 10. You can order dinner at any time. All the food is delicious, home-cooked and made with love! 11. The room was wonderful and very spacious with a large bed, great pillows and very soft linens. 12. We left the hotel very early, so the staff brought us breakfast to go. It was very nice! Thank u so much!!! I’ll really miss this place!

Wow - what an amazing experience in Furong Ancient City. Thank you very much to the great staff of Baihe Wharf Inn for making this a memorable trip. The customer service was the best I've seen in all of my travels across Asia. The complementary pick-up service from the railway station to the hotel was the perfect start. I appreciated the great communication from the staff and their offer to buy the entry ticket at a discounted price. The room was spectacular with a great view of the bridge. It also had the best water pressure I've seen in a while when taking a shower. The surrounding area is just beautiful. You're steps away from the viewing platform which leaves you speechless at night. I also appreciated the staff with giving me recommendations of shows taking place that evening. I had a great morning breakfast and was sad to leave such a great hotel. I highly recommend a visit to Baihe Wharf Inn as I'm sure I'll be returning back here one day.

There was an upsell to a more expensive room type when I first checked in, as they said the room type I booked was not available at this hotel and would only be at a place about 50 meters away in a different location. Given I was carrying many pieces of luggage, I did not want to walk again with that heavy luggage late at night. Ultimately there was a misunderstanding and it was resolved, but it created an awkward check in. The room itself was great and I loved the finishes, the shower, and the outdoor “tea balcony” area. They also have a resident Cat. Overall given the location, I would probably stay here again as long as you can prevent their bait and switch / upsell at check in. By the way, they really don’t prefer to speak English so I also had some trouble understanding initially as my Chinese is also limited.

Trying to find the hotel was the slightly difficult part unless you know what to look for, but they do have a big poster on the entrance at street level. The apartment was lovely and light. The reception staff were very helpful and also helped us buy tickets for Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Very good location close to local shops. Do bring ear plugs though as during morning you can hear the traffic below. Would still recommend them. Good view from the room. Catch a didi to the intersection of the Jiefang Road and Yingbin Road. About 2-3 mins walk from there to building entrance. Floor 17A.

This hotel is exceptionally comfortable — the rooms are clean, cozy, and equipped with all the essentials. The double room features a spacious and very comfortable bed. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. They didn’t just offer a warm welcome — they also helped me book discounted tickets to Zhangjiajie Park and even put together a personalized tour plan based on how much time I wanted to spend there. The location is super convenient too — it’s only about one kilometer from the East Gate of the park, making it easy to reach on foot or by taxi. There’s also a vibrant street nearby filled with cafés and shops. I highly recommend this hotel — you won’t regret it!

Honestly it is a hidden gem!!!! I absolutely loved it! The attention and service were amazing. Everyone always caring and smiling…. Didn’t want to leave. They make sure to accommodate your needs. The rooms are clean, super cute and the balcony with the pool view is so relaxing….. excellent location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and close to the river to take amazing pictures….. Absolutely stunning location. We are English travellers and can only say hello in Chinese. We had no problem at all. They arranged train station pick up and drop off free of charge. The view was incredible and had top quality amenities within. It felt safe and the beds were very spacious. Everything is within walking distance (approx 15 minutes walk from the main entrance). The staff also made some solid recommendations and we were able to stay in touch via alipay chat.

For me the place was perfect: very close to the drop off point from taxis, so you don't have to walk for too long with the luggage, and walking distance from everywhere - the town is really small. Lili and the staff were super kind and helpful with everything. They also arranged a car to drive me back to the station. Maybe the only improbable thing is that they could share arrival information once they accept the booking: to access the ancient town you need to pay 108 yuan and many people arriving didn't know. This is not to sleep in the hotel, it's just to access the town, so everyone has to do it. But for me it's been great!
