The location is right next to the Ancient Town, which is perfect for walking there and also convenient for getting a taxi directly to the hotel—especially with luggage, so there’s no need to carry or walk it through the Ancient Town. The cleanliness of the room was superb. The staff, especially Tian, were super helpful at all times; they helped us book a taxi to the train station and assisted with our luggage (there is no elevator). The view is also incredible.

Tv did not work in my room, was moved to another one for a night while they fixed it. However tv didn’t work there either. Wifi is poor as well. The service was great tho. I was gifted tea for the inconveniences and the room was cleaned with fresh water and towels daily. In my experience, I thought the hot water was broken, turns out it just needs 10 minutes before it gets warm, same with the sink. View from the hotell is superb. And the breakfast you get, noodles with coffee, tea, fruits and bread was an excellent start to any day. I would recommend the place, but not for extended periods of time, you should also lower your expectations a bit from what is showed on the site.

The room was super clean, and the view from the location was beautiful. The owner's service was even better, going above and beyond to help with every little detail. We forgot the parking pass (which the owner provides for free parking) when picking up our car from the parking lot, and it was raining outside. The owner didn't hesitate, just hopped on a bike and brought the card to us. Big thumbs up to such a helpful owner! Genuinely impressed!

We stayed 2 nights. The hosts are very friendly. The location of the hotel is convenient, and the style is traditional. I really like the decoration of the room with traditional charm. It was walking distance from the cable car station to go to Tianmen Mountain 天门山. Many good restaurants are also around by walking distance. What i didn't like was the noise in the morning on the street and the plane as the airport is not far.

The room I booked had an unobstructed view, perfect for taking amazing pictures without needing any filters. My friends kept asking me for the location when I posted them! The cleanliness also far exceeded my expectations; it was spotless and tidy, with great attention to detail. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, making for a truly comfortable stay. Plus, the parking lot was super close. If you want a comfortable stay and the chance to capture beautiful scenery everywhere, choosing this place is definitely the right call!

I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Tianmen Mountain and here’s my honest experience: Location: The hotel is in a convenient area, close to food options and a short ride away from Tianmen Mountain attractions (the cable car and bus station to Tianmen Mountain is just opposite the hotel). Very easy for travellers who want a comfortable base. Room: The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and basic amenities were provided. Soundproofing was decent, so I could rest without disturbance. Service: Staff were polite and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were quick to assist with questions about transportation and the surrounding area. Breakfast: A good variety of Chinese and Western options. Not exceptional, but satisfying enough to start the day before heading out for sightseeing. Overall: A reliable and comfortable stay, especially for anyone visiting Tianmen Mountain. It’s not a luxury hotel, but for its price and brand, it delivers good value. I would recommend it to travellers who want convenience, cleanliness, and a hassle-free experience.

Stayed 1 night while visiting Tianmen mountain. Lovely, old Tujian style hotel. Very relaxed vibe. Clean room, friendly staff. The hotel is on the 10th floor so we were slightly lost at first trying to locate it. But the people at the front of the building quickly spotted our confused looks and pointed us in the right direction. (Just take the lift to the 10th floor) The only slightly negative thing I could say is that the signage at the building entrance could be better.

Loved this hotel and would highly recommend! The room was clean, well stocked with amenities (towels, bathroom accessories, bathrobes etc). Bed was comfy and room was spacious. The shower had a waterfall shower head and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was very good with many options for both chinese and western style food. The service here was amazing! Mei at the front desk helped us to plan out itinerary for Zhanjiajie forest park, with our day planned and mapped out, even including the estimated time we would spend in each area of the park and our bus routes within to maximize our experience. She booked our tickets and park reservations. This was extremely helpful as we do not speak Mandarin and found the park very confusing on our own. They also provide free transport to and from East gate and drop off pick up to the pedestrian street restaurants and local sightseeing.. The hotel is also located right next to Baofen Lake scenic park. Our experience in Zhangjiajie was amazing thanks to the fabulous service this hotel offers.

I chose this hotel because i read from past reviews that shuttle bus service is provided to the high-speed railway station, which was a major deciding factor for my booking. However, during my stay, the service was not offered to us at all. When we inquired at the front desk, we were simply told to take a taxi instead. Aside from this issue, the hotel room and cleanliness are impeccable. The room was spacious and we have a comfortable stay. Right outside are a row of eateries so there’s no lack of food choice.

This hotel is excellent, offering great value for money and a convenient location. It's easy to get to all the attractions and the train station, and there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance downstairs. The facilities include a laundry room, swimming pool, and gym. The front desk staff were very welcoming and promptly provided medical supplies when needed. It definitely deserves a five-star rating, and I'll be booking this place again next time I'm in Zhangjiajie!
