I had such a great experience at this hotel in Sanya! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by all the spots you’d want to explore. The pool was super nice, perfect for chilling when you don’t feel like heading to the ocean. The best part? I got upgraded to a better room by the sweetest receptionist ever, Xiaojing 小静 (seriously, she’s the best!). The upgraded room had the most stunning beach view—I didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for a spot with amazing vibes and top-notch service, this is it. Can’t wait to come back!

Regret I haven’t booked Atlantis for the entire stay to be honest. It was 100 dollars more expensive than Crown Plaza, but boy it ended up being a great value for money! First, plenty of things to do for the entire family with aqua park, aquarium, kids adventures and swimming pools for adults. Second, cinema and aqua show kind of like cirque du soleil style. Third, access to imperial lounge made all the difference- was able to chill there and drinks and food are free. So ended up saving massively on food. Actually Atlantis was cheaper than Crown Plaza after all food costs added in. Fourth, personal butler service. Communicated via WeChat easily and answered all my questions instantly. Shout out to Marina doing a great job! Enough staff speaking both English and Russian. And all signs in the hotel in 3 languages - Chinese, Russian, English. Crown Plaza was not foreigners friendly at all. Eric was the only guy who spoke decent English there. Room service and other services were 100% Chinese. Good I speak basic Mandarin, otherwise would have been tough. The only disappointment was really closed pools for adults which made me purchase a cabana to be able to enjoy pool access in private and without much loud screams from kids etc. But was not such a big disappointment! I would stay here exclusively next time. Totally worth the money!

we stayed for 7 days in this hotel.This hotel has a good location,many stores nearby,10 minutes walk to the beach,but it's a bit old hotel,also the rooms are not upgraded,you can see old things inside room.breakfast is very rich and delicious.and swimming pool is also big and great.one bad thing they don't have laundry room.

I arrived in Haikou around the 12pm, and waited for a 14 hour transfer flight to Sydney. So I booked this hotel. The hotel is close to terminal 1, I took the airport bus from terminal 2 to terminal 1, just across the road and went to the shopping centre, you can see the sign to go to the hotel and take the lift to level 1, the lobby is there. So easy going there. Also you can waiting for hotel shuttle bus.

The biggest advantage is the location, very close to Yalong Bay, you can walk to the beach in 3 minutes. The swimming pool is for children, which is also an advantage. There are many shops, fast food, local restaurants, beer stalls, street foods corners. There are also small children's playgrounds. The disadvantage is that the room we got could hear the sound of local people singing karaoke every night. Also, the hotel staff was annoying us the night before we left, asking if we wanted to buy souvenirs.

Service of the hotel was very good even though they don’t speak English, they assist you through translation app willing to help. Especially person on the front desk helped us a lot. Food is delicious, rich variety. Room is clean. You can walk to the beach. It takes 5-10 mins. It’s near to the summer and pineapple malls. There is a free shuttle bus to duty free mall. You can take info from the front desk. We enjoyed our stay.

We've stayed at pearl river garden for 3 nights, overall, we have enjoyed our stay. Everyone at the hotel are so friendly and welcoming from the day we arrived. (Which we value this more than anything) Special shout out to Jim, who has made the stay very memorable. The room is clean, though not very spacious, but it was ok for us, a family of four. Great location, probably one of the best locations in the area, easy access to the beach, very family friendly. The only drawback, if there is any, would be the pungent smell that hits me every time I walk in the room, I'm guessing it's the cleaning chemical they use around the hotel rooms. All in all, Thank you Jim and everyone in the hotel for looking after us during the stay, will definitely recommend anyone who wishes to stay in the area. This is a geniuen review made after the departure (not some awkward on the spot review). I hope this is useful to others.

This Hotel is quite new as the driver told us. It's clean, staffs are good and always smiling and helpful. Front counter staffs are excellent and extremely helpful. 管家 Hugh is also helpful. My stay there is excellent and happy. It's location is near the beach but not recommend for swimming as it has rocks. For swimming and beach activities you may have to walk down a short distance to the neighbouring beach which is open and nice. Food wise I did not book the hotel food but the bbq seafood buffet seems interesting with lots of varieties. OK now come to the location, you can take a slow walk on a straight road to some eateries which is about 700-800 meters away. Can see they have quite some restaurant there and a 24 hour dim sum with lots of variations. Only on the last day stay then we discover this. Should have check it out earlier. There's a few shopping mall nearby but the most popular being 大菠萝 which is about 15 mins drive if you go by car. Has a lot of shops and a supermarket restaurant and a open space night market with lots of foods. Good hotel to unwind and my stay there is excellent.

We have booked room with breakfast. In China main problem for vegetarian people is Food, here you can’t find vegan food easily. We stayed in holiday inn for 2 night and 2 nights in other hotel, While i checked in i asked front desk to ask restaurant to prepare vegan food for us but he said they have many things inside , you can take vegetarian food by yourself, but first day in breakfast we could not eat anything other than plain rice and fruit because everything contains meat or egg. Then i talked to one of hotel staff Name LUCAS who can speak good english. He helped us to convey our requirements to restaurant manager then on second day we could get proper breakfast. Lucas also helped us to talk to our other hotel manager about our food restrictions so that we could get vegan food over there too LUCAS helped us for other all difficulties too. being non Chinese people its not easy for us to survive in china because we don’t know chinese language and we are vegetarian people. But LUCAS became superman for us and overcome all our problems. Thanks a lot LUCAS for your selfless service in all the way. I have attached photo of vegetarian food which was prepared on second day after struggling on first day Thanks again my friend Lucas.🙏🙏

Stayed 4 days in a hotel. The hotel is located nearby the biggest shopping mall in dadunhai area, which provides a big number of attractions inside, fine dining and shopping. Dadunhai beach is okay with well developed infrastructure. Breakfast is perfect with a huge amounts of dishes both European, Russian and Chinese cuisine.

We loved this quaint little place. Off the main shopping street so it’s a bit less busy but still close enough to make for easy access. Right on the beach which is both a good thing and potentially a slight issue for those wanting a place that is quiet at night. You will have to deal with the club music from a couple other beachside places who play loud music (albeit good and live) until 23:00 every night. The highlights for us would be the service which was incredibly nice and helpful. The resident dog was also a big highlight for us as she (Muo Muo) was so sweet. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the facilities were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t have an issue with late night music.

Couple travelling with family members (old and young). Location was good, there were 3 shopping mall by foot. One of the mall has a huge supermarket which we loved. Room decor was simple and nice. However room makeup seems to only include tidying up the bed and replenishing toilet items like toothbrush, shower cap. Used cups and utensils were not cleaned / cleared away for new set. Coffee stain on table was still there after room makeup. There were gift vouchers upon room booking but only redeemable with WeChat which we do not have, and vouchers cannot redeem with Alipay, so we had to forgo rmb 4000 voucher for use at duty free shop and rmb 200 drink voucher. May explore other hotels nearby for future stay.

This place is amazing! We moved to this hotel on the last day of our HaiKou trip as we have an early flight the next day. It's only 5-10 mins away from the airport, depending on the traffic. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they provide free transport to the airport. They helped us booked the transport when we checked into the hotel. The room we booked is beautiful, it's clean and tidy, comfortable bed and nice thick towels. Very happy with the room we got. We brought some local fruits to bring back to our country, but there isn't any fridge in the room. Their staff helped to keep the fruits in the fridge at their counter. We were given a reminder call 30mins before the transport came, which was a surprise to us. This is such a good service which we don get in other countries, unless you requested for it. There are eateries and convenient stores around the hotel, so you dont need to worry about food. If not, you can just take a DiDi, to the airport where there are shopping outlets and food courts. Overall, very good experience at this hotel. Highly recommend to everyone

A pleasant hotel! Everything looks quite new. Comfortable bed (I especially liked that there is a choice between regular pillows and memory foam pillows). Good value for money (especially compared to hotels in Sanya where I am now and where hotels in this price range seem much lower quality). Friendly staff at reception. The only thing that could be better is sound insulation, in particular noise coming from outside the hotel. Even with the window closed, it felt as though it was open (what you hear is mostly traffic noise - which I got used to pretty quickly - but one evening also some loud music which annoyed me more; that stopped at 22:30 though, so not too bad after all). If I return to Haikou, I might certainly consider this hotel again.

Warmly greeted at reception and was upgraded to a family room. Staff brought us and our bags to the room, and made sure we were happy with it. Any queries or requests were instantly resolved. Beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and clean. Kids loved the xiaodu-xiaodu smart room controls. Hotel itself is walking distance to several malls, Starbucks and the WanLv garden. Downstairs is a ”must-try” renowned bakery. Good dimsum restaurant on the 3rd floor. A top choice if we visit Haikou again!

Impeccable service by hotel staff; received a warm welcome at the entrance and the check-in procedure was without delay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They even have complimentary photography service and shuttle bus to duty free mall. Had an awesome stay and the view from the balcony was simply breathtaking! I'd highly recommend this hotel if you want to indulge in a luxurious stay!

Stayed here for a night. It was a pleasant stay. Hotel gave off a dated vibe which I enjoyed. Staff was courteous. Amenities were sufficient. There was also a small public hot spring facility just outside the hotel and a tub you can fill with hot spring water in hotel room. Different varieties of food served during breakfast. Location is convenient to go to qilou old street. We took a cab.

This is my favourite resort and place to stay in Haikou thus far! We booked the family room which comes with 2 double beds and a bunk bed. It's super spacious despite the number of beds, and the kids loved the hot tub. The only downside was the sliding doors were a little hard to manoeuvre for little hands so we just mostly left them open. There were both adult and kids bathrobes and bedroom slippers and wet slippers (we used it for our trips to the hotspring and pool) as well as kids dental kits and shower toiletries. Our package included buffet breakfast and dinner, spread was great and the kids had no difficulty finding food they liked. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hotspring, followed by the indoor pool. The animal club was small-ish but the kids had fun there too. It was a pity the outdoor water park and firefly activities were closed/not available as it was winter and we weren't aware of that. Also, not all the pools in the hotspring were loaded with the herbs but the upside was there wasn't much crowd when we were there. Just a side note: A number of farms in the area were closed on weekdays also because of winter/typhoon destruction. So make sure to call up before heading over.

Look Beyond Hotel is in a beautiful location that makes exploring the area an absolute breeze. What really stands out is the convenience of having affordable public parking lots nearby, which takes the stress out of finding a spot. (Ask me where?) Plus, being within walking distance to so many attractions is a huge bonus. It’s the perfect place for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay!

The last stop of the island tour was to the beautiful Haikou where the coconut breeze was blowing. I stayed at Atour Hotel, which I have always liked and is famous for its service. It is located near Qilou Old Street. The hotel lobby is on the eighth floor of Wanguo Metropolis. It has a simple decoration style. , unique and unique, the hotel is located in the city center, with an excellent geographical location and convenient transportation. Miss Qingjiu at the front desk has been following up on my service from the time she answered my call to the time I checked in. She carefully inquired about my housing needs and was very enthusiastic about arranging an upgrade to a comfortable room for me. Xindi turned on the air freshener in advance before I checked in and served fresh fruits. It was so nice and very comfortable. It made us feel full of surprises and joy after we were tired from the journey. Manager Wan Xin who handled the check-in patiently introduced the hotel's dining times and locations, nearby restaurants, and various check-in precautions, and helped deliver the luggage to the elevator. A small problem arose after checking into the room. Although Ms. Qingjiu was off work, she still responded to the message in seconds and helped to communicate and solve it immediately. Manager Wan Xin said, ”We are very happy to help you change rooms. A good sleep is more important than anything else.” He also thoughtfully provided eye masks and earplugs. His warm words like a spring breeze instantly relieved our worries and made us travel. Feeling more friendly and warm. Sincere smiles and considerate services make every stay at Atour a wonderful memory. I will choose Atour again in the future!

This is the best hotel ever. The customer service is 10/10. The rooms are spacious and especially love the bathroom.

This is really a very nice hotel, unexpected in a relatively small town. The room looks new and is very comfortable. I especially liked the cosy seating area near the window. Staff was exceptionally friendly as well. The immediate surroundings of the hotel are not very interesting, but the location is very convenient nonetheless: walking distance (20-30 minutes) to Qilou Old Street, only 2 bus stops away from the train station and also close to local buses to tourist areas such as Tonggu Ridge (though I've read not all sites there are open to foreigners, I mainly wanted to see Gusong fishing village and that's no problem) and Gaolong Bay. The only area of improvement is that this hotel has a tendency to keep calling customers before their stay (3 times I got an SMS in Chinese saying something like ”Meilin Hotel is going to call you, please pick up”, followed by a call from an unknown number). I can communicate in simple Chinese but am not great at doing phone calls in Chinese and in any case I hate this kind of insistent phone calls. I didn't pick up but after the second call checked with Trip.com what was wrong, expecting some major problem. It turned out the hotel just wanted to confirm a small change I had made to my booking, which had already been confirmed in the app anyway... While this attitude is perhaps meant as service, I perceived it as annoying and superfluous and I would strongly suggest the hotel stops harassing customers with phone calls unless there's a real emergency. Having said this, the staff on site in the hotel was exceptionally friendly and polite; this is one of the few hotels in China where staff members actually greeted me when I walked past reception, which was much appreciated! I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I ever visited Wenchang again.

Conveniently locate and easy access to amenities. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is very dated. Though the bedroom was decently clean, the bathroom was a mess. It had stain marks all over the walls. The groutings in the shower cubicle had mild dew stains and so was the anti-slip bath mat. It is definitely not fit to be used. The foldable wooden windows above the wash basin had rotted and the paint was coming off. Coordination between front office and dining room staff was poor resulting in me being questioned about my eligibility to have breakfast. A moment of embarrassment. However the manager apologised and sent us a complimentary fruit platter and a pot tea.

2024.2.14 Checked in the giant screen HD audio and video parent-child family room We went to Wenchang Space Exploration Base and Dongjiao Coconut Grove on the same day. We planned to go to Wennan Old Street and Confucius Temple the next day, so we chose to stay in a nearby hotel. Advantages: 1. The room is large, and the children can play and move around with a bunch of luggage. The two beds are large in size, easy to move, and put together is very convenient for families with two children. The bedding is good and the sleeping experience is very good. The balcony is quite large and the view is relatively wide. 2. The location of the hotel is very good. There is a gas station across the road, close to the downtown area, and complete supporting facilities. 3. The shower is very good and the bath is comfortable. Disadvantages 1. The surrounding environment of the hotel is a bit messy. There are two clubs in front, and the parking lot is full of garbage, and the hygiene is worrying. Others, The projection is OK, not to mention the giant screen audio and video. The partridge tea bags in the room are unique, and the decoration style gives people a sense of Hainan characteristics. Overall, the price-performance ratio is above average.

In wenchang,this is considered a newer hotel. The breakfast spread is good. But has to make sure that when you check out,the front desk has done it well as we encountered problem when we check in another hotel in sanya and discovered that the city comfort hotel staff didn't check out for us through their computer so we couldn't check in into another hotel in sanya until we called them to do so. Wasted quite a bit of time for them to do so on the phone.

The guest relations manager Raja and Cindy are very friendly and helpful. Raja are very attentive as my parents are in wheelchair which he is very helpful to arrange an accessible room for my mum which is very caring and exactly what we need when travel with elderly. He is so kind to upgrade us to sea view room type which my parents can enjoy their time in hotel. Highly appreciated the staff for all their special care. Thank you for the bell desk who always standby to assist us for luggage and assist with our wheelchair. Great hotel and very relax location. Thank you everyone.

The most unsatisfactory Jiji I have ever stayed at! The water in the basin is roaring like an old man who smokes all year round. The toilet flush sensor is too sensitive. The soundproofing of the room is very poor. The voices of other guests outside can be clearly heard, and the sound of dragging chairs upstairs can also be heard. I don’t know what material the quilt is made of. It makes a rustling sound. It makes a loud sound when I turn over at night. It is also very hot. If the air conditioner temperature is turned down, the sound from the air outlet will be super loud! The sensor light next to the bed was also too sensitive. The light came on when I lifted the quilt, which made me hardly sleep all night. The service at the front desk was not good either. I was arrogant the whole time.

The room is quite big. Wenchang should have a subsidy policy. The subsidy is also very cheap. There is no parking space of its own. It is a roadside parking space. There is no charging pile. There is a terrace. But outside is a river that is not well managed. It is a bit dirty, so I feel a lot of bugs. The balcony is not soundproof. At night, there are many people drinking in the KTV next to it. They quarreled downstairs and heard it very clearly. Breakfast type is super small, all prefabricated dishes and no service staff

We stayed in the parent-child room on the first day and the slide room on the second day. Overall, it was good and cost-effective. The house we lived in was relatively quiet in the community, but the glass was single-layer glass. The parent-child room was brighter and the Huati room was darker, but the children loved playing on the slide. The fence on the upper bunk was relatively high, and the children slept very safely on the upper bunk. All the wood had no odor, and the pillows and quilts were relatively clean. The aunt in the room was also very polite and kind. If you go to Wenchang to live, this is still good. It is a ten-minute walk from Wenchang Old Street.
