Guest UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money. The facilities are new and very clean, with excellent housekeeping. They thoughtfully replenish water and a small carton of UHT milk daily, which is a lovely touch. Upon check-in, we received welcome cookies and got some fantastic restaurant recommendations (all of which were delicious!). They even took our contact number and sent daily texts to check in on us, which was very considerate. I'll definitely choose this hotel first on my next visit!

This is a very nice hotel with high rise hotels and lower rise buildings of rooms which are quieter and next to the water. The view is fabulous, services is great and there are lots of restaurants and bars around. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting Hobart.

MattyFThe bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Breakfast was quite good but items such as bacon and scrambled eggs did not stay very hot about the buffet. I liked the sourdough. Reception was prompt and professional. Now the minor dislikes: it’s a good 30 minute walk from the CBD / waterfront, up a bit of hill all the way. (There is an area with plenty of bars etc about half way). I walked several times a day and it was OK. Most guests will have cars though. The living area in the room needed a TV. If there can only be one TV per room, it would be better there than in front of the bed in my opinion. Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style.

Guest UserHad a wonderful stay at Vibe Hotel Hobart. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel’s location was also very convenient for exploring Hobart. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.
One small suggestion for improvement would be to provide room slippers, as this would make the stay even more comfortable. Other than that, everything was excellent. Highly recommended!

Guest UserWe stayed twice at the Ibis and we enjoyed it a lot! It is well located in Macquarrie street, just minutes from Cafes and shops. The waterfront is only 1 k away also where you will find lots of great cafes and restaurants! The rooms are clean with modern amenities. Very comfy beds! The lap pool is located on the third floor with views of the city and bay! Pretty amazing views if you are lucky enough to score a room overlooking the city/bay! The staff are generally friendly and attentive. I would recommend if you're looking for a well priced, clean and modern hotel room!

We were very satisfied with this hotel. We arrived after reception hours, so the hotel left the key in a key box for us. They replied to our email quickly on the day, and we checked in without any issues. The facilities are also very comprehensive, including a pickleball court, a basketball court, and self-service BBQ grills. If you plan to dine at the hotel restaurant, be aware that you need to do so before 7:30 PM.

Located by the river, the room has complete and comfortable bedding, the kitchen has complete tableware, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, and there is a washing machine. The cutest thing is that wild ducks come to the door to say hello in the morning, so cute

The location is close to a small street next to the coastal pier. There are bars nearby, making it busy yet quiet. The decoration of the hotel is elegant, simple and contemporary. There is a laundry room on the floor, complete with washing powder and a washer and dryer. Although the closing time is closed, the door is not locked by visual inspection. The room is spacious and newly decorated. It is equipped with electric stove, oven, microwave and simple stove. There is no peculiar smell. However, there is no heating lamp in the bathroom, the water in the wash basin is very slow, and there is no bathtub.
It's about a 15-minute walk from the city center. It's a bit dark in the middle and there are less people. It's a bit inconvenient after dark. But the airport Air-bus is right next to the pier, about a five-minute walk.
For Tasmania's largest city, this hotel is a top choice.
