First of all, the location was not exactly the most convenient as it was a long walk from the train station although it looked like it is just behind the station. It was a bit hard to find the location at first.
Second of all, early check in required significant extra payment, even if we just arrived less than 1 hour earlier. So we decided to head for a brunch instead of paying for the early check in.
Third of all, the bathroom was very small, with some privacy concerns. The shower, toilet and basin are separated. In the shower there is no space to put your clothes, and you could only place it near the basin right next to the transparent shower door, which is just separated from the beds with a thin curtain. That also means it would not be feasible to wash your hands after going to the toilet if someone else is taking a shower. There was no hairdryer and any other supplies in the room as well.
It was bearable for a one-night stay.
Very good hotel, winter is definitely not as perfect as summer, but I am already amazing, the pool water is hot, there are small hot springs, steaming ice room is complete, la prairie free trial after bath, breakfast You can order the Michelin plate, and the taste is quite good. I called to eat in the room at night, it was delicious! I also gave wine and helped decorate the room! Will come again if I have a chance
The hotel is clean and nice, however the location is far away from Lucerne and we can not reach the hotel with public transportation, we need to arrange a taxi/uber from station to hotel by ourselves. It will be better if the hotel can provide shuttle to the nearest train station or help customers to arrange taxi pick up from the train station because there is no taxi at the train station and it is hard to find uber because very few uber available in that area. The breakfast is great with various choices including fresh fruits.
The location makes it easy to get around in town on foot. The réception Mr Shahroux, was friendly, kind and hospitable which was a great welcome after a long day of travelling. The breakfast was correct but always the same fare for the 3 nights I was there.
Even though the location requires you to take a bus to the hotel around 20mins. Bus stop just outside the hotel. 2-3mins walk.
We were delighted with the hotel.
Very well thought out room and design very tasteful.
Very nice view of the lake.
The staffs are very friendly and helpful as well.
Rooms and breakfast were in line with our expectations. The room was clean - the bath was something very narrowly measured. SPA was in any way good - some glittering plates in the outdoor area.
But: When checking in, we were informed that the lift was out and no repair would be made at the weekend. We, both of us, were no longer very young, our room was on the 4th floor. We were offered help in carrying bags, but the staircase had quite criminally tight, short steps in one floor - not just ideal.
I also noticed that the call button panel was expanded on all floors. In Parterre, the floor display is also expanded. After a short lift failure, the whole thing didn't look like - there would have been enough a sign, at least the main switch could have been turned off. I suppose the lift was longer defect, and will it stay for a while?
At the departure, another guest told us that there had been a working staff lift. I think we were not told about it deliberately. I find this a conjecture.
I assume it was not the fault of the receptionist - she probably had her instructions.
In the hotel description you could have clearly indicated that the PP CHF 6 per day would be charged and the short charges would be charged directly in the hotel. Maybe it is somewhere - then, however, well to read.
In all, the price was quite high - for Weggis probably in the usual framework.
Host are all friendly, room amenities are at minimal, you need to go down to lobby if you want to get a cup
of coffee. Kettle available upon request
plus point is breakfast is included.
Big room, Nice view, high level & cosy environment. Would love to stay here again the next time I visit! Can’t wait to be back!!

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is OK, but the hotel service is really bad. There are children making noise in the hotel at night, which affects sleep! The most ridiculous thing is that when we were sleeping, the front desk called us and said we were making noise. This shows that the quality of the hotel service staff is really poor. They harassed the guests without knowing the situation. This is the first time I have encountered such a situation in so many years of traveling abroad!
PPENGThe pictures are all views from the window. See the beautiful scenery of Lake Lucerne. Because it is this, we evaluate 5 stars. The hotel is 4 stars in size and has the same facilities as the domestic express hotel. The room is quite large in Switzerland. The balcony is very nice to see the lake. It takes 8 or 9 minutes to get to the lake. There are more places to eat around, and the bus is still close. Go to the hotel to take the little cable car. The breakfast variety is too small, 30 Swiss francs a person, it is really cheaper, it is the simplest breakfast in the entire Swiss itinerary. The breakfast restaurant can see the lake, it is still good. The overall layout of the hotel is very good, people like it very much, the hotel service is also very good. Specifically, the hotel has a shuttle bus, saying that it can only be sent to the bus station from the hotel, and then take the bus to the train station. The driver actually sent us directly to the train station that day, touching. Lucerne is not big, the hotel location is OK, and it is convenient to go anywhere.
みみさき@ヨーロッパ旅I stayed one night at Capsule Hotel - Lucerne Old Town and had such a comfortable experience.
The check-in process was super simple and smooth. I had some trouble opening my locker (twice, actually!), but each time the staff was incredibly kind and patiently helped me without hesitation — their warm attitude really stood out.
My capsule was near the main door to the room, so I thought it might be noisy. But even when I was awake, I only noticed the sound of someone entering faintly, and I couldn’t hear anything while I was asleep. The capsules were impressively sound-insulated and felt very private and peaceful — which I know is something many capsule hotel guests care about.
The shared kitchen was also easy to use, with a microwave, dishes, pepper, and other basics available — a nice bonus for a short stay. One small note: the power outlet inside the capsule is a Type C only, so be sure to bring the right adapter if you need one.
The space was clean, modern, and felt very safe. I would absolutely stay again if I return to Lucerne. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
VViki JThe location of the hotel is a little far from the station.
Very friendly staff, gave my daughter a welcome gift when checking in, she liked it very much. When we checked out, they helped me bring the luggage when they saw me with my daughter alone.
The room is warm and comfortable, the room size is also suitable, the water and drinks in the mini bar are free, and the hotel also gave free bus coupons to tour the city.
Our whole family likes this hotel very much.

TThe MS’sThe hotel is close to the train station. The location is easy to find. It's about 10 minutes' walk away. It's just a bus ride away. The room is quite big. I booked a triple room. The double bed is comfortable. The single bed is a sofa bed. It's generally comfortable. In the evening, it's downstairs. A loud noise from the crowd at the bar was heard.
SShih Yuin ChewOne of the cheapest hostel options in Luzern, yet also the best.
Beautiful common area aside, the bed capsule is one of the comfiest of my 46-day Europe trip. Free huge luggage storage. And the shower facilities are as well-equipped/designed as many Japanese hostel. Location-wise, it’s 1min walk away from bus stop (and few minutes from an awesome glacial museum), super convenient.
The only weird thing was the electronic luggage storage failed on me two times, like I couldn’t open it after closing it with the electronic key. One of the times happened past midnight (receptionist had left), leaving me with no toothbrush/facial care to use before sleeping. Not sure what went wrong.
But overall I totally enjoyed my stay here. An accommodation option I’d prioritize next time I’m back to Luzern.
GGuest UserI only stayed for one night as a stopover, but the hotel is very close to the station, and I have already arrived when I got off the bus and crossed the road. There is no air-conditioning in winter, but opening the windows is good enough! The room as a whole is so clean! The staff at the front desk are very kind and answer all questions! And the hotel is 5 miles away from the scenic spots, just walking distance! Moreover, a small supermarket is opposite the hotel, and it only takes a few steps to buy snacks! And there is a D restaurant on the lower floor of the subway station! Overall, it is highly recommended for travelers who want to catch the train the next day.
