Wonderful apartment - spacious, clean, some areas need updating, but overall everything is good! It is worth noting that these are apartments without the usual hotel service. The owner of the apartment lives right next door and has assistants. Any issues are resolved quickly. You can order breakfast for only 200 pesos per person and it is really worth it. Well-groomed area, large swimming pool. True, we still didn’t understand how the cleaning issue was resolved; in 6 days they only cleaned our house once, either this is not included, or we need to specifically ask. You can also rent a bike from the owner. Each apartment has its own isolated terrace. In general, there is everything you need (towels, dishes, stove, kettle, refrigerator, safe). But there are some basic little things missing (there was no soap or hand towel in the bathroom, there were also no towels or rags in the kitchen, and there wasn’t even a sponge with detergent - which made it difficult to wash the dishes), but I think if you ask - they will provide you with the missing items without any problems! The beach (Alona Beach) is 7 minutes by bike, there are no shops within walking distance, but there are a couple of cafes. Overall, these little things didn't spoil our stay! I recommend! Suitable for both short and long stays.

Amaris Bed and Breakfast in Cebu is a great option for travelers with a short layover. Its location near Mactan-Cebu International Airport makes it incredibly convenient for those needing quick access to their flights. The rooms are simple yet comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. For anyone looking for a no-fuss stay close to the airport, Amaris provides excellent value and ease. Perfect for a restful stop before heading out again!
📝note: they offer FREE airport pick up or drop off and breakfast 😉
We had a lovely time staying at GT Seaside Inn. The staff were helpful with booking us onto tours and booking the ferry to Bohol.
Rooms were clean and spacious with a very good air conditioning unit.
Loved our stay here, we extended 2 extra nights! Location-wise, it’s close to Napaling Reef (~8min drive), which is perfect for divers!
Not much around in terms of restaurants, but there’s a kitchen and bar at the hotel that serves delicious food and huge portions! Otherwise, Alona Beach is ~15 min drive. Can also rent motorbikes from the hotel.
Didn’t get round to using the pool, but looked refreshing to take a dip in. Room was nice and comfy, fluffy pillows and duvet 😍
Staff are also very friendly and helpful - thank you for making our stay so lovely!
Welcome aboard!

The rooms are super comfortable, the bathroom is especially nice. Provided soap and shampoo. We only stayed one night but really enjoyed ourselves and would diffidently come back. We had rooms in the back which was perfectly quiet and relaxing. We could ride our bikes right up to the rooms. Places to hang wet clothes in also nice. They have free hot water and coffee packs etc and free cold water available at all times. This makes life easy as we can't drink the tap water.... They also have beers available in small fridge so you can relax at the hotel with a cold brew. Owner is super nice as is staff. Close to all.
We headed to Oslob from Cebu City to snorkel with whale sharks.
Because it was a weekend, it took 5.5 hours in traffic and we were about 10 minutes late for check-in, but they welcomed us with a smile. There was a toilet, but there was no toilet paper, so I recommend bringing it with you (this is common in the Philippines).
The shower was in a different place, but we didn't use it because we took a shower at the dormitory where we were studying abroad. They came to wake us up at 4am the next morning and we walked for about 5-10 minutes to where we could see the whale sharks. We overslept, so we left at 4:30 and reservations started at about 5:30. We were able to line up and swim at this time before 8am. I recommend bringing some snacks with you. After we finished, we ate, went to the nearby Tumalog Falls, and returned to the hotel to check out.
They were really helpful in carrying our luggage during the tour! I would definitely use them again if I have the chance!
When we went, whale shark snorkeling was 500 pesos and a GoPro was 550 pesos.

PPEASHOOTSWe had a lovely time staying at GT Seaside Inn. The staff were helpful with booking us onto tours and booking the ferry to Bohol.

GGuest UserFor the pros, the service was pretty decent where the owners were very friendly to my family and they were always striving to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. The location was very ideal as it's very close to Alona Beach (probably 500m walk from the inn) and also shopping and dining options. The breakfast provided was quite wholesome and yummy too, with rice, eggs, corned beef being the regulars and occasionally stir-fried noodles, dried fish, ham and sausages were provided as well.
For the cons, I found the room facilities quite basic despite booking the deluxe room. We were expecting at least a bar fridge in our room but none were there; we had to use fridge in the communal dining area to store some of our leftover food. There was also an occasional pungent odour in the bathroom when the shower tap is turned on. We also had a huge cockroach coming out from a hole in the bathroom which escaped through the gap at the front door. The communal pool water is also murky for most of our stay and was only cleaned towards the end of our stay, when we decided to use it.
Overall, quite an ok stay for the price.
BBest Land PHThe staff and the owners are nice and accommodating. They accepted me even if super late check-in and agreed to have my car parked inside. Though the location is a bit challenging especially for new drivers, the place is overall good and commendable.

DDaisy BrustStaff were really friendly and accommodating. Easy to get around to in Cebu. Stayed two nights only but was very happy with it. Will definitely book again.

RRachel St. JohnI have staued at SF Cantina several times and it has always been delightful. It isnt fancy, but it is clean, comfortable and affordable and...right on the beach! Their beach cafe is a lovely place to hang out and the food is delicious and reasonably priced.
My favorite part is the staff. They are always so welcoming and helpful. They are kind to my son and do their best to help with any needs you might have. It is a safe, quiet location for families.
SSander RoxasWe had a pleasant overnight stay at Travelbee Fuente Inn during a recent trip. The location is excellent—centrally located and within walking distance of several restaurants, shops, and public transit. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. The bed was very comfortable, and quiet atmosphere, which helped me get a good night's sleep. The free Wi-Fi was reliable and fast enough for video calls. Staff were friendly and attentive, especially at the front desk and concierge. They were quick to answer questions and offer recommendations. Would I stay here again? Yes, definitely—especially for business or a short city break.
RRobert J KerrWoken up at 06:45am by owner playing music. Who then had a loud telephone conversation under my window.
They offer a budget room - no kettle, no coffee, no bottled water, no toiletries, but charge a higher price.
Breakfast is advertised as included, but it is only partly. You are allowed 200 pesos free (1 coffee is 100, 1 French toast is 100), after that, you have to pay for anything additional.
On arrival, I informed staff that my toilet was broken as the flush did not work. They told me they'd look into it. When I returned, I was informed that I was right, it was broken, and I was given a bucket to flush.
EElenaVery nice and cozy hotel near the airport. Closed area, cottage, pool. Responsive and friendly staff, home environment, rabbits, paparazzi) Located at the end of a narrow street, not every taxi driver knows how to find it.
