As a frequent traveler to Hong Kong, I’d say this hostel is my top favorite as of the moment and we’re already planning to book again for our next year travel back to HK. Location-wise, it’s the best. Walking distance to the harbour, nearby malls like Silvercord, K11 Art Mall, Mira Mall, and Harbour City, surrounded by restaurants and fast food chains, a grocery in front, and two MTR exits (A1 with lift and escalators going up and down, and A2 with escalator going up and stairs). It is also few blocks away from Bakehouse (😆). In terms of room size for 3 pax, it’s livable and pretty spacious as compared to our room on the 9th floor last year 🤭 from the same building. We have 5 luggages - 2 carry ons and three medium check-in luggages, and yet there’s still space for the mini table and chair and we still have space to move inside the room. I love their big glass windows which give us the best view of Nathan Road. They also offer water refilling dispenser which is a big saver because bottled waters in HK are pretty expensive! Stayed here for 6 nights and got new towels everyday after the room has been cleaned, and bottled water replenishes. Rooms are clean and looks the same as advertised in the pictures. Only cons I would say is that the shower area doesn’t have a door or divider so water splashes everywhere and floor gets flooded, but still tolerable. I would also like to suggest having a microwave for food reheating. 😁 aside from that, everything you need is here. In terms of room rates, price is okay and expected for HK standard; still cheaper than booking a hotel room from known hotels in this location which would also require security deposit. As for this hostel, no need for security deposit. Thanks to Trip.com and was able to get an early bird rate for this room. For security concerns, the building has security personnels when you enter, CCTVs are working in elevators and specific areas, hostel floor is secured with passcode which can only be opened with guest keycards. Room security doors are also up-to-date or modern. I love it!! Kudos also to Filipina housekeepers for being so approachable, helpful and kind to us during our stay. While the boss is very hands on in reaching out in WeChat for any concerns and also provided guide around the area and tourist attractions. SUPER RECOMMENDED!!! Loved and enjoyed our stay. We already miss the view. See you again next year! 🩷

Perfectly located in the heart of Hong Kong, close to the red line subway. Clean room and larger than what we expected. Hand bathroom soap is provided but shampoo, conditioner and body soap for shower are not included and you have to purchase them for a small amount (20 HK$). Do not remove the room card or the air conditioner will shut off and as Hong Kong buildings tend to easily form mold you would easily damage the room (they provide you extra cards for it). Our room was perfectly free from humidity so it's important to keep it that way for next guests. Recommended accomodation for staying in Hong Kong.

This is the definition of a budget room in Hong Kong: very, very, VERY small, the shower is above the toilets, and the bed can feel a bit small if you're 1.80 meter tall or above. The guesthouse is located on the 7th floor of the notorious yet fascinating Chungking Mansion Building (If you haven't heard about it, Google it). Having said that, the employees were extremely kind and helpful, and offered an even better price when we asked in person to extend for 2 extra nights.

Ken was a nice host. 2 things I did not like:
1. Cleanliness - night 1 I got bedbugs bites. I had the bedsheet replaced but still the same. please see picture.
2. Service (planning) - there was a notice for aircon maintenance and it was fine. What I hate was when I arrived 9pm after a full day of activities, the maintenance is still not done. I requested to be transferred to another room because it’s already late and I needed to rest since I would have an early start (6am) the following day and I was told that they don’t have other rooms since they are fully booked BUT I can get a refund and book another accommodation if I cannot wait for the maintenance to be completed. Imagine you would be told to look for a room in the missle of the night.
They tried to apologize the next day by putting a trinket inside my room with a note of apology but the act was already done and was already inconvenienced.
Again, the host is nice but what happened is something that can be prevented by not letting the room be booked if it’s scheduled for maintenance and that the room should also be sanitized and cleaned properly.

My Inn Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, is a budget-friendly option for travelers seeking a central location. Situated on Nathan Road, very close to the MTR, bus (bus A21 connect you direct form airport) and attractions like the Avenue of Stars, making city exploration a breeze. Rooms are compact but super clean, with free Wi-Fi, good AC, and basic amenities like a fridge and hairdryer. Staff are friendly and helpful, with quick check-in/out (after 6pm, can contact them via Whatsapp). Perfect for coupes and solo l.

Overall nice. Toothbrush and toothpaste, hair comb, shower caps, toilet paper, hair dryer, shower gel and shampoo, a bottle of water per person a day is provided. The air conditioner leaked onto the bed after changing the mode to QUIET but the staff fixed it after being notified and cleaned up. The staff doesn't understand english too well, but it was enough to get by. Towels and toilet paper weren't changed when the room was cleaned, we had to ask for toilet paper at the reception. The shower leaks into the room through the door a bit so it'd be nice if a leg towel was also provided. The wifi was slow but it was enough even for an online call.

This hotel is good for budget travellers, it's clean, cool and quiet, we can sleep without any noise.
The hotel is in a good location we can travel by bus, have a bus stop in front of the hotel and also nearby MTR too, very comfortable.
The elevators are fast, service only the floor of 20th-25th so good.
The reception is so nice, she helps me a lot, every times when I ask her, she always reply me quickly, gives me on details of I needed. very impressed.
I've travel in Hong Kong 4-5 times, but this time very impression the budget hotel😊.

Pillows Co-Living is a noce and friendly place. The kitchen facilities and laundry machine are really useful and the market around the corner has a lot of things. The place is average in cleaning while the location is amazing!! Considering Hong Kong price, this is a good place for money.
We booked the room with balcony since I didn't like no windows solution, but the second one is for sure qiuiter. Our room was a bit too noisy.
All considered, I can recommand this place.

This is right at the entrance of Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, 30 meters away from the airport bus 21A, the fare is only 35 Hong Kong dollars, before the airport express line only cost 127 Hong Kong dollars, too expensive!! Next time I come, I will stay here again, it is so convenient to travel. The only downside is that the sound insulation is not good, what else do you need a bicycle for this price-performance ratio.

GGuest UserI want to try and be balanced. I hate to give this place too much hate. I feel like they’re doing the best they can with the cards they’ve been dealt and the price reflects that. This being my first time to Hong Kong, I was not aware of what to expect price wise.
That said, I want people to who read this to have more reasonable expectations than what the 4-5 star ratings want you to have.
Location. I suppose it’s in a good location of the city but it’s in an apartment above a market like setup. As i walked into the building i was immediately pounced upon by individual after individual who seemed to be trying to rent me their own rooms. I had to just ignore them and keep walking. I don’t like being rude, but I’ve found this is the easiest way to escape. I never feel safe in situations like this especially late at night.
The room was small and generally clean. I’ve left hotels in the past that were just horrid, this isn’t one of those. The mattress was comfortable but the bed was short. I feel the pillows and blankets were “clean “. But they were clean to the standards that I wash my own bedding. They were very white, but with some obvious stains that haven’t quite washed out, and one pillow appeared to have something like a blood stain visible through the pillow case. You will want to bring some sort of sleeping bag or liner. I was happy i had one.
The bathroom had no toiletries. No soap, shampoo, bidet/paper. The toilet bowl was black inside and immediately began to smell of sewer gas as i was urinating. It leaked when i flushed it. Gave me quite a start. The stench stayed around for 10-20 minutes or so. After that i didn’t want to do anything else in the bathroom. I used a bottle of water to brush my teeth.
I don’t know. If you’re looking at the outside of the building during the day, it’s what you’d expect. If you’re familiar with the cost of living in Hong Kong, it’s probably also what you’d expect at this price. If you just want a relatively clean place to sleep, and don’t want to spend a lot for hotels that reviewers say have the same issues, this will work. Just make sure you have your sleeping bag liner.
For this price, I’d probably stay there again if they fixed the plumbing.
GGuest UserIt's OK. The room is clean and tidy. It has everything you need. You can also do laundry. It's very user-friendly and the owner is very nice. The location of this hotel is very good. Victoria Avenue of Stars is nearby and shopping is also convenient.

CCris R.Our flight from the Philippines was delayed which made us miss our train. I decided to book this hostel so my children and I can have a place to stay for one night. This hostel is located within Chungking Mansions, which we are familiar with. The price was only Php 2,000 for a family room with private bathroom. As it turned out, I have checked in the same group of accommodations before; back in July when I also missed my train when my flight from Taipei to Hong Kong was delayed.
This is located on Block D/E so the elevator was not as crowded. The reception incharge that night were two South Asian guys. They were swift and clear with their directions. We had to pay additional HKD 30 which I was already aware of when I booked on Trip. I believe this is a housekeeping charge.
We checked in on the 10th floor Door 7F I think and then we were given instructions to go to the 16th F of Block E where our room is.
It was a clean room with bathroom. We were not given free towels though. We did not ask anymore as it takes a lot of effort to go back to reception to ask for towels.
It was the space that we needed for that night. We arrived at around 9:30 p.m. and checked out around 8 a.m. so we can carry on with the next leg of our trip.
I'll recommend this hostel for those who are on a budget and are looking for a place to stay within the TSIM.SHA TSUI area. To get to Chungking Mansions from the airport, just take the A21 bus. It's cheap and stops right next to Chungking Mansions along the bustling Nathan Road. You can also opt to take the Airport Express to Kowloon, then just follow the sign to Austin Station (maroon line). In Austin, take the direction going to Wu Kai Sha, one stop in East Tsim Sha Tsui and then walk to the direction of Tsim Sha Tsui. Find Exit C and then Exit C1. You can see Chungking Mansions upon exit. Cross the street and you've arrived.
Hope all of these helps.
GGuest UserI had a really nice stay. The room was spotless and very well-maintained, which made it feel welcoming and comfortable. Everything was clean and organized, and I appreciated the attention to detail. Would definitely recommend!
OOzYoPiczGreat hotel close to the airport line. I stayed here because I had an early flight from HKIA and didn’t want to risk missing it with customs/ immigration or other delays.
Beds were comfortable and the room included a kettle and a mini fridge for chilling my OJ for the early morning wake up.
The fire door provides extra sound proofing from the main foyer where the Elevator is.
It was a lot bigger than other Hong Kong hotels I’ve stayed in.
Close to plenty of restaurants down Jordan Road and Nathan Road - it’s also a short stroll to Temple Street night market for cheap eats.
Sadly no photos I was too wrecked.
MMarcelo Alexis Norambuena SepulvedaThe hostel stands out for its extraordinary location in Mong Kok, Argyle Street, which quickly connects you to any point in the special territory of Hong Kong. The staff is attentive and maintains a friendly manner at all times, also highlighting the security of the place. Now, regarding the facilities, I can say that they are kept clean and have just the right amount for a traveler looking to save money. The hostel shares the same level as other hotels with similar characteristics. The building is old and somewhat neglected, next to impressive glass and neon towers, something typical to find in HK. It may give a more demanding traveler a bad impression, but it is something very common to find in HK for the prices we are talking about. Finding something nicer will cost you 3 times more, it is HK and space is a valuable resource that can be traded on the rise. The rooms are located in adapted apartments that allow for multiple rooms inside, which are very small and without windows. They have air conditioning and a fan, which helps to temper the temperature compared to the outside. The bathroom is shared with access to soap, shampoo and towels, and there is a shower that wets the entire bathroom (there is no separate shower from the toilet, something that is common in HK due to the exorbitant cost of square meters built). As a final assessment, I found it to be a good place for the price, safe and with staff always available. I recommend it to anyone who wants to save money on their stay in this magnificent city.
Gg_travelsBuilding is easy to find and very convenient to travel to and from. It’s not as crowded as Tsim Sha Tsui, and Jordan has a lot of stores and in the middle of TST and Mongkok, you can just walk back and forth or ride the MTR which is also right outside the building. 7/11 a few steps away, bus stop to the airport + tax free stores right across.
The room is great! Reasons why:
1. Thick and firm beds, sheets are clean and they provide comforters instead of the usual thin sheets. Hot water is always running and the pressure is always high, bath towels are changed daily (just be sure to hang up the “please clean my room” sign on your door when you leave for the day).
2. Door man is helpful and friendly (but he won’t be there 24/7 so make sure you know all the codes or least keep them handy — hotel is self check in from the gate to the room. Hostel is at 4th floor, you can use the stairs when you don’t feel like waiting in line for the elevator during rush hours (6-8am and 7-9pm)
3. Room is spacier than all the hostels I have stayed before in HK, and we had windows. They provide a lot of handles to hang your clothes in along with maybe 10-12 hangers. Decent TV and a very cold AC unit.
4. Warm to hot potable water available in the common area, and a communal fridge. Utensils not provided which is stated in booking details.
5. No service or cleaning charge.
6. Very strong wifi signal and the place is quiet at all times. You won’t hear neighbors except for the doors when they come in and out their units.
