The only drawback is that there are two huge construction sites right across the road towards the sea, and for the first few days it seemed to me that the Chinese were building day and night. Then they seemed to finish at 11 pm, and without days off) I think that when the construction is finished, the view of Phoenix Island will already be closed. We had a late check-out from the room, and then we left our suitcases downstairs and went for a walk. Conclusion: the room is cool, for this price, I think we were looking for gold, but found a diamond. Clean, cozy, quiet, close to the sea and transport, the center of Sanya. No furniture except of the bed and couple of nightstands only, but other amenities are ok including refrigerator, hairdryer, tea boiler and TV. Wi-Fi is not bad by Chinese rankings. Cleanliness is ok if not mention a pair of funny tropical roaches in the bathroom, whom I just got out with the slipper. Stuff doesn't speak English but friendly and helpful. The location is good, about 300 meters from a good beach and near the tram station. The main advantage is the price - 9 dollars per night only. Should be ok for normal backpackers who are not in show-offs but want to explore the world. Если не нужны понты, то за девять баксов за ночь получаешь все необходимые путешественнику удобства.
