Angsana Zhoushan

I chose Putuoshan for a relaxing and relaxing getaway. The Angsana was a pleasant surprise. The tranquility and comfort melted away all the travel fatigue with the hot springs. The service was attentive and thoughtful. The healthy black tofu at Chunfeng Restaurant was delicious, and the dinner buffet had a plethora of exquisite dishes, including steamed swimming crab, seafood boat, various sashimi, and even steak Wellington. The pier and shopping district are both about 15 minutes away, making the location highly recommended!

I visited the newly opened Angsana Hotel for Chinese Valentine's Day and enjoyed a wonderful weekend. The brand new hotel welcomed us with the best amenities. The amenities were all new, the soft bath towels were larger than those at other hotels, and the shower was incredibly powerful and comfortable. Yukata robes were provided, and I loved their yukatas; the colors and styles were beautiful, the texture was very textured, and they made me feel very comfortable. The bathroom was decorated with travertine, which I also love, and the color scheme in the room was very pleasing. I was also touched by the thoughtful inclusion of two types of hairbrush. The tissues were also custom-made, demonstrating the hotel's attention to detail. Although I'm very sensitive to smells, I didn't notice any decorating odors, so I felt at ease staying here. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The location is convenient for everything.

Pros: 1. Newly opened, but odor-free. 2. The private hot spring room is very well laid out, with three separate rooms that don't interfere with each other. 3. The hotel staff are very polite in person. Room service is always responsive. After our first day, we returned to the hotel at 10 PM and wanted to use the private hot spring. I noticed some water stains in the pool, worried it wasn't clean, so I asked for it to be disinfected right away. They were very diligent and came, which is a huge credit. 4. The room was equipped with a Toto smart toilet, a Panasonic hair dryer, a capsule coffee machine, and drinking water, including four cans of VOSS and two bottles of Nongfu Spring. If the water wasn't enough, we could refill it with Nongfu Spring. 5. The soup is supposedly real, not boiler water, and it's very slippery after a soak. The outdoor hot spring automatically drains at 10 PM every night and automatically fills in the morning. 6. The travel photography lady who provided the service was very professional. 7. Generous! I asked if we could add breakfast for the children, and they readily agreed. Overall, staying in such a new and established hotel in Zhoushan, a city known for its high prices, was quite good during the summer vacation. However, there are some shortcomings that I would like to mention. In particular, the hospitality was superficial, with more formality than substance. For example: 1. I contacted them the night before check-in and specifically inquired about our check-in staff. I also made it clear that I didn't need children's amenities, as I have teenagers. However, upon check-in, the room still had children's amenities, no men's slippers, and no third bath towel or robe. Considering the phone call the night before, this is unacceptable and should have been avoided. 2. In a similar situation, they called me the night before and left their WeChat number, saying they would add me and provide guidance and assistance. In the end, they didn't even offer to add me until I checked in the next day. It would have been better not to mention this service. 3. I haven't encountered a hotel that requires a deposit in a while. It's no big deal if they do. When I checked out, they said we would return the same day by the same route. The next day, I remembered and checked, but there wasn't any. I asked again, and they refunded it. What if I hadn't forgotten to check? 4. The package includes a complimentary mini bar each day. Upon check-in, I was verbally informed that only four items were free; the rest were charged. After check-in, I discovered there were no signs distinguishing the items that were charged, and I hadn't even remembered the verbal notification. I called room service twice before I finally understood. I asked if the Coke and Sprite in the mini bar could be replaced with sparkling water the next day, and they said they would note it. However, not only was there no replacement, but when I returned home after a day of fun, not a single bottle was refilled, forcing me to order more. Two other drawbacks are worth mentioning. 1. The breakfast had a wide variety, but the taste was lackluster. On the first day, everything we tried was a complete failure, and on the second day, we mostly just had porridge and watermelon. The afternoon tea was similarly beautiful, but not very tasty. 2. The bed was too small. The 1.2-meter bed couldn't be moved. While everything else was very user-friendly, this particular point was hard to understand. Aren't twin beds in hotels of this caliber typically 1.35 meters? Even if you have a 1.2-meter bed, it should be possible to move the beds together. This is something to consider carefully for a family of three.

The hotel is nestled against the backdrop of a mountain, and the moment you enter the guest room, you're captivated. The fresh fruit and moss-covered tablescape are incredibly artistic, a delight for detail lovers! The Chinese restaurant was a real surprise! 💥 The dishes were beautiful works of art, and the flavors were incredible! The handmade black tofu is absolutely amazing! 😍 Whether it's the creative fusion dishes or the classics, every bite was incredibly satisfying. The wait staff were incredibly attentive, and the restaurant manager, Jenifer, and the interns were incredibly attentive throughout. The outdoor setting is absolutely stunning! 🌳 There are thatched pavilions and over a dozen hot spring pools of varying sizes, surrounded by lush greenery. Soaking in the water and enjoying the view is truly relaxing! The cave design of the outdoor pool is also incredibly atmospheric. 😎 A special thank you to Janet at the front desk for her attentive service, helping to resolve many minor issues. The hotel is excellent from the amenities to the service—a true gem! I'll definitely choose this place for my next vacation, and I'm looking forward to visiting again! It's a must-see for vacationers, and this trip was well worth it!✨

We checked into the hotel on the afternoon of September 6th! I didn't go to bed until 2 a.m., and by 5 a.m., I felt an itch on my neck! I was so sleepy I didn't pay much attention to it. Then, at 8 a.m., I woke up to find a rash on the naked parts of my body that touched the sheets and pillowcase! There were no rashes on the clothed parts of my body, so I figured it must be the bedding. This was the first time I'd ever encountered this problem.
