Location was good as it was the closest hotel to where our relatives lived. Close to a Walmart and a mall, plus at night there seems to be a market that pops up. If you go towards the river, there will be fruit vendors at night too. If you are wondering if their 1.3 m twin beds can fit a couple, it’s really (really) pushing it so maybe book a room with larger beds if that is a concern.  Also, while they have a self serve laundry room, it’s only open until 10 PM and they will lock it irregardless if you have clothes in the washer and then you will have to find a staff member to unlock the door and free your clothing so please pay heed. It’s also not open in the early morning until late and shares a space with the gym (so also locked during the time when people would want to be exercising) which is weird, but the staff justifies it as not bothering the people sleeping during that time. Perhaps they should invest in soundproofing during their next renovation because it’s super inconvenient.

This was a great clean hotel for a very reasonable rate. If I am in Zhanjiang again, I will surely consider staying here. Staff were very good. Bed was very comfortable!

I felt it was quite tight at first, but it was okay afterwards. I particularly liked the bay window, where I could just lean on it and relax. It was very comfortable. The water flow was strong, and it was very comfortable to take a shower. There is an Impression City shopping mall nearby, and it is also very close to Chikan Street. The only drawback is that the hotel's sound insulation is a bit poor, but it doesn't affect a sleeper like me.

The hotel is generally OK. We stayed during the Spring Festival. The price is relatively expensive. The hotel has convenient transportation and is within walking distance of Chikan Old Street. The facilities are average. Zhanjiang is good. I will come again if I have the chance. The oysters are good.
