The owner and other workers were extremely nice and helpful. They let us in even though we arrived at 3AM and helped us organizing a tour to Matisi and the Pingshan canyon.
The hotel could use a little renovation in terms of the bathrooms, but other than that it was okay.

The photos don't do it justice, despite this the place is quite close to the center, the staff was very kind and they gave me an extra room as storage for my things, which is not a given.

We booked a room here for the day we arrived in Zhangye as we just wanted a basic accomodation to relax in the evening.
When booking I unfortunately didnt realize that I booked a room without AC (it was there but not connected), but that was our oversight. IF you are sensitive about sleeping with warm temperatures, this might not be the ideal place for you during summer, as the room was significantly warmer than the outside temperature at night.
Otherwise, everything was fine - easy to reach by taxi, great price, just the bed is on the harder side.

The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, making it a huge help during my trip. If I ever visit Jangye again, I'll definitely be staying here again.
